I can t thank Area Towing enough for their quick service. Natalie was so helpful and nice when I called to ask if they did fuel delivery. As a born & raised Melrose Park resident, I felt comfortable going to a company who was close by. Frank got here quick & called me to confirm my car & that it was me waiting. He was respectful & worked quickly to get me enough gas. Thanks Area Towing & Recovery!

This towing company is very unprofessional..I submitted a claim with my insurance company to get my car picked up and it s been way more than three hours and they didn t even take the time to follow up with me. I kept calling them and they kept pushing my time back and lying about the time they d be here they kept giving me the run around and no solution, then they mentioned that their tow truck was less than 30 minutes from me when I checked the location they provided where their tow truck was and that location was only 20 minutes from my location so I still waited patiently then another hour passed and I called them very upset letting them know that they were very unprofessional and incompetent and the person that answered didn t care to hear why I was so upset after waiting for about 4 hours and hung up the phone on me. To be honest I was completely furious when this person told me I d have to wait another 30-40 minutes MORE on top of what I ve been waiting!! The insurance company reached out I told them what happened and they ll be send someone better and expediting the situation!! My father is a diabetic and needs to get home for he s medication that s what pisses me off about people that work for customer service that shouldn t work in this field!!!

Thank you to Jose for saving the day! Highly recommend and cheaper than others. Had an emergency by ORD and Jose was there in 10 minutes while I had called multiple other towing companies and the earliest one could make it was in an hour.

Reckless and irresponsible driver! I witnessed a driver almost cause an accident multiple times by cutting off another vehicle purposely 3 times in front of my vehicle with my infant in the car. Textbook road rage!! I called the company to report the driver and the lady on dispatch didn t seem to care; didn t ask me for a license plate or anything. i would post a photo of the driver but Google isn t giving me the option.The owner and his wife reached out very promptly to try to rectify the situation and asked for details that dispatch did not. They also assured me the driver and dispatch were being reprimanded accordingly. Very pleasant people who care deeply for their business! Great customer service by the owners.

I am so pleased with this company they came in such a short time in this bitter coldness. Craig was a sweetheart and the guy who dispatched the tow was so understanding and didn't try to over charge me. I highly recommend their service and will do business for them in the future

Great Service! I called them in an emergency situation. Dispatch said that the driver could be there in 10 minutes. The driver showed up in 7 minutes! Outstanding service from the driver! Wow! I called Area Towing and they sent a tow truck out within 20 minutes! Craig arrived he was so nice and extremely professional and quickly and cautiously loaded our car on the tow truck. I will only use Area Towing for any/all future tows. Thank you Craig and Area Towing!

Poor CommunicationDisgusting customer serviceImpatient and o the highest degreeHe called and said he s a few minutes away.I went outside and he was ALREADY putting the tow in place. He did ask any questions like can it be put in neutral, what s wrong LITERALLY NO communication.He asked for my keys and I told him it s completely dead and the engine is out and that my back tires won t move. He continued to press buttons and switch gears. He thn begins to jerk my car with the tow truck until the tires moved.So, I went to my driver side to see if everything was ok. I go to get in the truck and he said they don t do that. I said that s what I paid for though and he walked away and continued to get in the car and pull off WITHOUT EXPLAINING ANYTHING!!!! I said hold on let me call State Farm because that s not what I paid for. So, I go to my drive side and hop in while I wait. It was even 5 minutes and he gets out the tow truck and says I m not taking you. I said just hold on until Statefarm answers.He gets an attitude and call his boss or whoever and he gets out and tells me to get out of my car. I said wait until Statefarm answers he said he doesn t care what they say and he s going to put the car down WHILE IM IN IT! AND HE DID!I said if anything happens to my car you all are going to be liable for it. And he did not care AT ALL. I recorded the whole thing and will be pressing charges for intent to harm/ endangerment!

These guys are thieves, they stole my truck and trailer and put it in their yard, driver was parked in a Truck parking spot! They said there were no parking signs when that is a lie and charged $1,400 to take it out when they moved it across the street. They would only take cash, and then my driver is taking pics of our equipment and an employee grabbed my drivers phone from his hands. Beware of these scammers, police did nothing as well! Predatory towing company! Everyone was rude and extremely unprofessional screaming and cursing at one another as well.In their reply they lied, my driver was in the store buying food and never left, and i even have video proof of their employee taking my drivers phone from his hand.
