I just finished having the front end of my car wrapped with protective film and the entire car ceramic coated by Steve at STATUS. It was a fantastic experience! He answered a ton of questions over the phone and when I arrived we went over the entire process. Steve is very knowledgeable with car care and had lots of great tips for cleaning and washing after the ceramic coat was applied. The car looks absolutely STUNNING! Give STATUS a call. You won t be disappointed.

Steve was recommended to me by two people separately around the same time when I decided to get my vehicle custom wrapped. The service was excellent, fast, and reliable. He goes above and beyond, is honest, and gets the job done to meet expectations. I d recommend Status Vinyl Wraps to anyone who wants to receive the best quality material and service. Status Vinyl Wraps not only did an amazing job on my Range Rover but it really feels like driving a different truck now! Nonstop compliments when I m out and about! Will def bring other cars for this customized treatment! Make your car your own! Thanks he also do my Maserati too and that s fire!

My man Steve and his whole team did an incredible job on my 350z. I brought it to him in rough shape. He truly transformed my car. They wrapped it, restored my headlights and taillights, got the car tinted, and even worked with me to get my coilovers installed. I couldn t be happier with my decision to work with Steve and Status Vinyl Wraps. The pricing was very fair and competitive!

They really are the #1 wrap and detail business in Chicagoland. Professional. Detail oriented. And a amazing company to work with. If you wanting a wrap, paint correction, ceramic coating, or powder coating the only place you should go is Status. My expectations were blown away with their commitment to detail and the finished product. They are truly car guys that have been there and done that. And your ride will look it s best once it s been there. I can t recommend them enough. Steve offers excellent service and is super passionate and knowledgeable at what he does. Bought my two cars in for a paint correction and ceramic coating. He did a great job at removing scratches, swirls, rotary polisher burn marks, and vinyl wrapping over the roof to cover sun damage. Super thankful that he was able to get both cars looking great again. Highly recommended!

I would not hesitate to recommend Steve for car wrapping. Not because my experience was perfect, but because of his integrity and his willingness to stand by his work. Steve initially wrapped my Hyundai Palisade in a beautiful red Vinyl Frog wrap, that for about 30 minutes, was flawless and beautiful. Then all heck kinda broke loose. LolI don t want to harp on the bad, because Steve let us know within 2-3 months of having the car, he would redo the job. To his defense, the Vinyl Frog calendared vinyl was NOT the correct choice for my car. In fact, he has stopped using the brand altogether. But let s just say the new color is fire and Steve did an AMAZING job. I couldn t be more happy with his work. Honestly, I didn t even want to mention the previous job, because his redo was so incredibly good. But Steve wanted me to tell the whole story, albeit the shortened version. I appreciate Steve standing by his work, and he will continue to get my business for wrapping, detailing, and tinting for years to come!

Words cannot describe the amount of professionalism that went in to the transformation of our vehicle. From the use of premium products to the level of expertise, this is what you can expect. Steve and his team do outstanding work. New car prep, polishing, ceramic coating, PPF, wrapping- they will make your vehicle look its best. And on top of that, they are super professional, easy to work with, and provide great communication. Prices are very reasonable for what you get.

Took my 2023 4 door Bronco to Status. I chose a difficult vinyl print to wrap my car with. At first I was a little concerned but when I picked up my vehicle, I was beyond pleased with the work they did. Clean lines, no bubbles, beautiful work. Definitely recommend! Competitive pricing and they actually allowed me to keep the left over vinyl, unlike every other shop, that wanted to keep the leftover roll to make money off of my purchase. Honest guys and amazing craftsmanship!

Had a great experience with status vinyl. Had my Porsche 911 wrapped from original silver to blue. Great attention to detail, quick turnaround, great pricing, and most important-quality work. Highly recommended.

This is the 3rd vehicle that Steve & the crew at Status has done for me! Had my F250 chrome deleted on bumpers, grill and mirror caps and a 2 stage paint correction with ceramic coat. My truck was almost gray before with scratches from the previous owner taking it through the car wash. Steve went above and beyond and the truck looks literally brand new!!! Gonna keep using him on every vehicle!

Steve at Status Vinyl Wraps did such an amazing job with my car! I see no imperfections and wrapped my Audi exactly how I asked him to. He also checks up on me to ask how the wrap is holding up, which I really appreciate! Will be taking my future cars to him as well. 10/10 recommend.

Steve came recommended from a friend/neighbor and I couldn t be happier with utilizing him. I had a lot of questions and was looking at various options for protecting my new SUV.Steve was extremely knowledgeable and was painstakingly patient explaining the different options for my vehicle. He was not pushy and is extremely focused on customer satisfaction. His staff ( Tom in particular) is polite, friendly, and meticulous. I think his pricing is very competitive versus other estimates I received.I ended up going with a ceramic coating and PPF on certain aspects of my vehicle and my SUV looks fantastic! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to enhance, or protect their vehicle!

I waited a while to write this review just to test the quality, I don't like just jumping on to write reviews after the work is done. (they did state it was lifetime warranty if anything occurs) HOWEVER I would 100% recommend this shop I got my wheels powder coated, got a chrome delete and a detailed wash. They were super helpful and listened to how I wanted my car and also gave me recommendations on what to do to my vehicle, super friendly and great shop to bring your car. People have asked where I got my wheels only to hear they are factory and are just powder coated! I recommend anyone who asks me about it to this shop! check them out you won't regret it!I mean just see the difference in the pictures below in love with the new look.

***SAVE YOURSELVES SOME TIME RESEARCHING VINYL WRAP INSTALLERS AND JUST BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE***Took my 1992 NSX over here. It's been my dream car ever since I was a kid, so I took my time researching to make sure I take my vehicle to a bussiness that will take the best care of it. Status has exceeded all my expectations. Very friendly and lots of communication. They worked night and day getting the car ready for me, once it was complete I was amazed. The car is now show quality and will be recommending Status to everyone interested in getting any wraps, tinting or caliper powder coating.

If you want your car to look like a peeled orange steve is your guy. Been only few months and every single panel is peeling off. Called him to fix his mistake but he just ignored me. It is just a waste of money and time going to his shop. Find some reputable shop spend extra money i will be worth on a long run.

Got my new Fisker Ocean covered in PPF, Ceramic Coating, and tints. Status team did an amazing job with the vehicle. I will return for washes and other stuff to maintain products applied. Also, this was my first time here so yeah this shop really went above and beyond my expectations.

Just had some detailed vinyl wrapping on my truck, and I can say I m def pleased with the professionalism and very reasonable with pricing. The owner scheduled me in on a certain day and on that day he started the work. Took roughly 1.5 days which was perfectly fine because he did a fantastic job. I will be coming back soon for my window tinting. Thx again STATUS!

Steve has unclear business practices. i was originally going to get my wife's Acura wrapped and went to see Steve. I decided to give him the down payment of $550 which he specifically told me was for the purchase of the wrap, and if I don't get it wrapped by him then he told me I would be taking the wrap home. Ok, that seems fair, So I purchased the wrap. Several months went by because my wife,s car had a rust issue on some parts I was going to get replaced, but sold the vehicle. I went to Vinyl to go pick up the wrap I purchased, since I couldn't get it wrapped. I asked him for my wrap and he said he didn't have it. Ok, so I asked for a refund and he said no. I asked why and he told me that the $550 deposit was for "his services", completely contradicting what he told me earlier. So, he refused to give me a refund and told me that his literature states that. Nope, nothing he ever sent me states that I put a down payment for his services, He even told me during our conversation that I'm the third person who thought that. ITS BECAUSE YOU HAVE UNCLEAR BUSINESS PRACTICES. I would think twice before doing business with Steve.
