I told Ron up front and directly that I was coming to him for advice and that I wasn't planning to buy from him. Despite knowing he was getting anything in return he helped me with good honest advice, and super helpful, sharp, and polite. I know I'll be stopping into the shop when I'm in the area just in case I need some bike parts! You'll probably be better off if you do, too! The real guys are the ones who grow the sport like Ron!

Ron at Northwest Cycle Center really cares about his customers..... Even better, he really cares about the bikes that he works on and sells. I recently brought in my 22' Beta Xtrainer that had an issue with the display and was in need of routine maintenance. Ron was able to work with Beta direct and get the display sorted out under warranty. He provided suggestions on minor upgrades and performed an oil change, cleaned the air filter, topped off the oil injection, etc. Then explained everything in detail when I came to pick up my bike. Ron took the time to ensure I understood everything that was completed without making me feel rushed. Northwest Cycle Center provides a personalized customer experience. You're not just another number like some of the big chain stores.

Ron is top notch. They ve done some work on my Harley in the past and does excellent work at very fair prices.Most recently I called to ask for help as I was in the process of moving out of state and my bike had a dead battery. I was not going to be back as I d already relocated but needed to get my bike running before it got loaded for the relocation. I called Ron and he was quick to help me out. He went to my house, assessed the situation, went and purchased a new battery and returned to install it for me. He went way over and above and charged me an unbelievably fair price to help me out knowing I was in a bind. I can t rave about Ron and the shop enough. Shoutout to Ron at Northwest Cycle Center. I got my ohlins rxf fork and ohlins rear ttx shock from them and wow am I impressed. Ron was pleasant to deal with and helped me get the correct parts that I wanted for my build. Excellent customer service! Ron was super knowledgeable about everything trials, he helped me figure out the right bike to start on and how to get everything set up. It was refreshing to speak to someone so knowledgeable on the products they sell. He means it when he says he s there for you before and after a purchase!! Would recommend Northwest Cycle Center to everyone! A few years and a few new dirt and trials bikes later, NW Cycle Center is the best around. Quick call they find me what I m looking for and next thing I know it s shipped on the way to my house.

Great service. We - two Germans on BMW GS bikes - had urgent need for tires. A call and two emails - we arrived as agreed and two hours later after top service, great communication and taking pictures we could continue our trip around US and CAN. Many thanks

Ron did a great job fixing the creaking suspension on my 2018 Sherco 300 SEF, saving me money by providing a non OEM option for the bearings. Ron also went the extra distance to ensure my dashboard worked by drilling a new hole to align a replacement magnet with the sensor.I had a great experience working with Ron to get me ready for the 2023 riding season. Ron recently helped me through the process of buying a Beta Xtrainer 300 (2022 model). I am a new rider and he advised me on the purchase. His experience with off-road riding was invaluable for this newbie. We conducted this transaction long-distance and Ron kept me up to date on all the details. If you need motorcycle repairs this is the ONLY place to go. After speaking with Ron, you immediately get the impression he does this work because he LOVES it. He will go out of his way to save you money, walk you through every step of his process, and ensure you have the best experience possible. He advised me not to have my bike towed to avoid damages and picked up my bike himself (and for less money than a traditional tow). When I picked up my bike I noticed Ron had completely detailed it from top to bottom. It hadn't looked that good since it rolled of the showroom floor! I called to see about having new tires mounted on my Triumph. Ron told me it would take a day, two days at most. Other places I called had a month-long wait (!) and Northwest Cycle also quoted me a very fair price. I told Ron that my work hours wouldn't allow me to be there during their their work hours and he said it was no problem, I could drop it off whenever it was convenient for me. I dropped off before they opened and left the key.The next day around 1pm I got a call saying it was done. He let me know they adjusted my clutch cable and told me what pressures they aired up the tires to.I asked if I could again come by after business hours and he again said it was no problem. I was able to pay for the service using an app on my phone, which was very helpful since a lot of places still don't have that ability, which blows my mind.He let me know to take precautions since the tires were new, and that I'd need to run them for a couple hundred miles til they were fully scrubbed in. Even though I already knew this, I appreciated the extra attention to customer service.I came to pick it up and the bike was parked right where I dropped it off and the key was where he told me it would be. I fired it up and headed home.The ease and simplicity of the process was a pleasant surprise. Ron couldn't have been more accommodating and easy to communicate with. They have themselves a loyal customer.

On a recent trip to upper Wisconsin on my 2013 Harley Street Glide I had the unfortunate experience of a tire blowing out and having to trailer my bike back to McHenry, IL. Knowing the riding season is short in these parts I started the phone adventure of getting service from our customer focused Harley dealerships in the area. Needless to say no success over the phone, I even drove to a local dealer, explained the need, provided my contact info, he told me they could pick my bike up in a couple weeks, but still have not received a call back since that visit on 8/22.Looking for a solution, who knew there was one right in my backyard. Found Northwest Cycle Center in Ringwood, IL with an on-line search, sent them an e-mail, and can you imagine I received a response back in the hour. I knew this was the right guy. I called and spoke to the owner Ron, I explained the need, he provided honest responses and fair pricing. Two hours later he was at my house picking up my bike. In my humble opinion this kind of service is hard to find nowadays. I look forward to dealing with Ron and Northwest Cycle Center for all my motorcycle needs in the future. I contact the owner about a mirror bracket I needed. The beta stock bracket would have been expensive but instead he recommended a part from Amazon to get me going. This is the second time I have bought parts from this location and I am impressed that they care more about me than just making a sale. The owner Ron always takes time to figure out my needs. Great place to do business.

I've never actually written a Google review before but was compelled to do so for Ron. When buying a bike sight unseen from out of state there is a high level of trust needed. Ron's communication throughout the whole process left me with no worries, and I got a great bike delivered as promised. Would happily do business with him again.

Northwest Cycle Center and Ron are simply the best!The service I have received from Ron is unmatched. A week ago I was doing the Kentucky Adventure Trail when my bike developed a noise from the engine which threatened to end my trip. I called Ron who then did everything he could to help me keep things going. He called American Beta to get their input and then spent a considerable time on the phone with me diagnosing the issue. He even texted me pages from the workshop manual in the process. Absolutely brilliant! He enabled me to continue on and finish my trip. The most astounding thing is that I didn't buy this bike from Ron but another dealer out of state. I bought a few parts from Ron but nothing that would deserve any special treatment. I have been riding for 40 years including too many years road racing, I have dealt with hundreds of dealers, distributors, manufacturers and suppliers some of who have been great. Northwest Cycle Center is in a different league, you won't find the latest boutique fashion accessories looking to lighten your wallet but you will get a proper motorcycle shop with unmatched knowledge and unbeatable customer service.Think twice before you order from Amazon or Revzilla, support shops like Northwest, they are rare and precious things!Thanks Ron! I've had three different motorcycles to Ron for repairs. Every time the workmanship is right on, the price is right, and I get the motorcycle back on time. My last visit was for fork seals on my Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager. Price was considerably less than the dealer quoted me. When you call his shop Ron answers the phone unless he's turning wrenches, if he is, leave a voicemail, he'll call you back.Small town shop with great customer service and great prices, you can't beat it.

Ron at Northwest Cycle Center was outstanding to work with. I purchased a new Beta trials bike from him and he went above and beyond to make it a fantastic experience. He went out of his way to work with me to ensure I got the bike setup the best way possible for my riding needs. It was a rare pleasure to deal with such a hard working and experienced person in the motorcycle business. He has a customer for life in me.

Ron was absolutely the best! he took so much time helping me to make the right choice on a Beta trials bike. He is an expert and super professional. It was a totally amazing experience and I felt good about my purchase. It isn't always easy to purchase a motorcycle from another state (I live in Utah)site unseen but through Northwest Cycle Center it was no big deal. I will buy from them again with no worries. I could not have been happier with the whole process. I saved money and know that I can rely on their expertise for years to come. I am very glad I found Ron and Northwest Cycle Center.

I've used Northwest Cycle Center twice so far, once for a carb cleaning/tire replacement and the other for a chain replacement. Both times I have experienced great customer service. As well, Ron is a very knowledgeable guy and will work with you to figure out what your issues are. I recently purchased a new to me 2017 Sherco 300 ST Factory that had a small oil leak. I called Ron's shop and that guy took care of me. Not only did he walk me through the process to replace the bent bottom clutch cover, he helped me order all of the correct parts. Whist completing the job, he took phone calls from me and assisted me over the phone. What a great guy and wealth of knowledge. The tips and tricks that he provided were very helpful. I would recommend this shop to anyone in the Observed Trials world. Can't say enough about my excellent experience. I expect great service from a small business owner, but Ron exceeded all expectations. Thank you Ron!

Ron is AMAZING! He returns calls quickly, is profession yet not stuffy. He knows his stuff about all types of bikes from trials bikes to dirtbikes to street bikes etc (not limited to those listed!). Ron's prices are better than fair and he always goes the extra mile! He is my go to trials bike guy for parts and repairs! Even just advice on keeping her running good, Ron is the man! I HIGHLY recommend Northwest Cycle Center! I know I will continue to support his local shop which is run very well! Thank you for all you do Ron!!!

Ron, the owner, found the perfect solution to my motorcycle's front-end wobble. I had just bought the bike and noticed the wobble immediately. I was disappointed and worried because when I took the bike back to the dealer where I purchased it, they claimed that the wobble was "normal." Ron immediately suspected my bike needed new tires. His "cure" for the wobble was flawless! Very personable, knowledgeable and gave me a lot of useful information about my BMW K1200 LT. I highly recommend Ron and Northwest Cycle Center!

I first used Northwest Cycle 25 years ago to rebuild the engine on my KX250. After the rebuild the bike ran great for years and i swear it had more power than when it was new. The owner Ron is a real stand up guy....very professional, and his shop and vast motorcycle knowledge is top notch.I highly recommend Northwest Cycle for all your motorcycle repair and replacement needs!!

I broke a 48$ spark plug cap that would have taken over a week to order from Kawasaki so I called Ron to order a new one. He tells me, "bring it in I'll have a look."So I brought in the old cap and he matched up an after market one that he got next day mailed for a 10th of the cost!Then, next day I put my bike back together and I notice a drastic lag in power around 4 or 5 thousand RPM. I called up Northwest Cycle to see if i could bring in the bike and, over the phone, Ron was able to diagnose and tell me how to fix the leaky air box. Over all a great experience with a knowledgeable and trustworthy mechanic.Been back since and always a good experience.

As a new motorcycle enthusiast, I don't have a lot of knowledge. Ron patently explains everything to me and treats me as though I'm his most important customer when I'm there. His pricing is fair and he doesn't talk down to me because I'm a woman. I really appreciate all of the tips and pointers that he gives me. He definitely goes above and beyond in his commitment and his knowledge is outstanding.Thanks for all that you've done Ron...You're the best!!!

I recently bought a new sherco 250 from Ron. I'm located two states away from his shop and the experience was so easy I'd never hesitate to buy from him again. Not only did the bike arrive extremely fast, 3 days later, but Ron was always willing to help answer questions. Would def recommend
