I had hail damage and they rushed my car out so fast. I called to try to add some small things to the bill out of pocket. The estimator never called me and the next day they called me to say it was done. I was upset cause the lack of communication I found to be very unprofessional. I mean they lost out on money and now I have to bring it in again later. I thought that was the end of it and six days later I go to open the hood and a loud noise came from near the hinge area and I see they misaligned my hood so bad it bent my hood and fenders. Such a horrible experience. Let s see if they step up and make this right.Service: Body & Trim

I've had my vehicle in at this location twice now. The first time was okay, nothing super amazing but went well. The second time was great! I had a decent amount of front damage after an accident and it looks brand new! Only driven it a day but so far so good! Friendly staff, really great communication on what's going on during repairs and very thorough with their paperwork! Thanks gerber!

Unfortunately, I have had to use them 5 times in the last 10 years due to accidents both big and small. 3 deer hits, rear ended and a snow drift. So I can say Gerber Collision has done a great job on all my family's cars. I would not choose any other collision center to take my car to.

I was initially unhappy with the service I received at this Gerber location and that was in part to the management and how I was treated after my initial visit. I was told it's under new management and they wanted to right the situation. Took some time but I feel better about the overall situation.

I edited this review due to the fact that they called me and apologized for what happened and told me they are making changes to prevent miscommunication in the future. Sometimes, things just happen, and I would give them another try due to the call.I'm not sure about the collision portion of the business, but the windshield replacement I had was not a great experience. First, I I made an appointment to have a windshield replaced on my car. The option was at my location or their shop. I chose to do it at home. The day of I am waiting and get a text from the tech asking if the car is outside. I said yes! He tells me it's too cold and I have to bring it to the shop to get done. I was not prepared to do this as I had to work and had no way to leave if I dropped off the car nor time to wait for it. I was not happy. I ended up doing it their way by taking some time off of work. Why didn't you just tell me this when I made the appointment. I would have made arrangements. Then no problem.Just communicate with your customers before the appointment time to work better.

Firstly, they thoroughly explained the repair procedure so there would be no surprises in store. Secondly, they communicated very timely pertaining to the work schedule and when the vehicle would be ready for pickup. Thirdly, the work was done to my complete satisfaction, including detailing. After being referred to them by the driver at fault s insurance, we had work done here, it took a week longer than quoted, once we went to pick up the vehicle, the initial scratch was still there, seems they had only painted over without fixing it. They had also way over sprayed a large amount of our vehicle which did not need any repair. There was heavy paint drip as well. We we shocked at how terrible the job was. We had to reschedule a time for them to redo the work. The attitude from the front desk lady was terrible and she was unhelpful, she acted like she was completely oblivious to anything. The manger was somewhat helpful at the end, however at that point we just wanted to be done with them! Worst body shop I ve been to ever!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I was in an accident where someone hit me so I decided to go to Gerber through State Farm, and it started off a little different than what I expected but I can 100% say that they did not stop until I was completely happy and my car was just as (if not more) beautiful as it was before the accident. The owner (not positive of his name I apologize), Ashley, and Cindy were all so polite and didn t let me feel like I was forgotten. I had them repair my car a couple of years ago after someone hit me and they did an amazing job. My new car got some minor paint damage and they were able to help me again with absolute professionalism and looking out for the individual rather than just the bottom line. I will definitely trust them if I ever need more work done.

Well I was told to drop my jeep off May 16th. Which I did. Was emailed saying it was assigned a technician and was in line.so on Thursday I called ..well they had not even looked at it yet. Mind you my insurance pay 80% of the rental. So Friday it finally gets looked at. I call Monday..well it need a few more parts they didn't know about. And get this the lady the orders parts is out for the day. Tuesday she calls, she has ordered parts. Hoping to have them Friday. So if they get parts..the guy won't even start on it til the following Monday. 2wks after I dropped it off. This is just ridiculous why on earth did I need to be inconvenienced. So I will be stuck with a rental for even longer. More money because clearly they lack organizational skills. One lady to order part. Wth its not rocket science people.there is zero excuse for this. Why does statefarm even work with Gerber. The rental cars are horrible. Mine had a bubble on the tire sidewall which I had to take 90 minutes out of my day to sit at firestone.first waiting for approval from enterprise corporate to get it replaced then to wait for it to actually be replaced. This change oil message came on the minute I picked it up from enterprise. Wth car was not cleaned inside either. Customer service is going down the toilet just like prices going up. I would not suggest Gerber to fix your car..nor would I suggest enterprise to rent a car. Take your money and your valuable time elsewhere. Cause these places do not respect the fact that your tome had value.

They replaced passenger side doors due to accident. They didnt swap parts from old doors, speaker didn't work. Didnt paint bottom of new door, didn't replace weather stripping, scuffed headlight with sandpaper, they are no good hacks, do not ever go here!Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

My son got into an accident and state farm insurance recommended this place. I do not recommend them at all. They did everything they could to ensure a perfectly running car was totalled out. They padded the estimate so much that the estimate was 2/3 labor cost. My son's car had scratches from barbed wire, one small dent on the right side passenger back door and he did need a new tire. They estimated it at 7000.00 to repair. Took it somewhere else and the second place estimated it at 4300 with labor.

I have had a pretty rough year and have been rear ended twice in the last 6 months. Both times I took my car to Gerber. I've been so impressed not only with the work they have done but also with the amazing service. Tim has gone out of his way to assist me with insurance issues. He even contacted the claim adjuster directly and saved me from paying a $450 dollar betterment fee to the insurance company. As much as I hope I don't have to go back anytime soon, Gerber will always have my business!

Outstanding service and team! Called to get my windshield replaced in my Range Rover Sport, handled my claim the first time I called. Ensured me that the replacement windshield would be just as the original and done right. (For those of you who don't know the Land Rover Range Rover requires a specific windshield and specific mechanics to ensure that it's done right. I got Mark Slobnik who came out to my house and was willing to show me step by step the process so that I was sure the job was done right and safe! Mark was super knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you for an experience that could've been a hassle but instead turned out to be very pleasing.

Very convenient. I didn't have to take my vehicle anywhere, they came to me. Pricing was less than the quote I received thru Safelite. It was easy to schedule an appointment and the tech called before he arrived. Both customer service and tech were friendly and helpful.

My vehicle has been serviced 3 times by Gerber Collison & Glass Mchenry. The staff is phenomenal. They're very thorough, communication is always great and my vehicle is always on point afterwards. I will continue to refer this business, always a great experience.

Horrible customer service! I ordered a new windshield 4 months ago which was a nightmare & a few days ago I got a crack in my windshield from a pebble/rock. The tech came to my house filled the very small crack and it made it worse and its spreading. I called customer service & the warranty division and was told I have to pay $308.00 for a new windshield. So a tech breaks my windshield more and I have to pay $308.00 for the damage? I told my State Farm Insurance Agent to not use Glass American anymore as SafeLite is far more superior and I'm an executive in the automotive industry. These guys will not have any of my stores I can tell you that. Epic FAIL!!!! FYI... Safelite quote for a new windshield is $309.00 which is cheaper as I paid $50 for the crack fill. YOUR COMPANY WILL NEVER GET A CONTRACT OR REFERRALS FEOM MY STORES IN THE CENTRAL REGION.

Great experience with this location! Working with Jennifer on everything and she has been fantastic to work with. Any question I have she always there to answer it. I highly recommend working with them if you need anything done to your car.

Stopped in to find out if I could make an appointment to have a piece of trim that came off of my wheel well replaced Cindy was very friendly and helpful she got a hold of Chad he went out and looked at it and came back and had reinstalled it when I asked what the charge would be he said no charge customer service at their best I will absolutely use them again when I'm in need of a service

I'm not sold on going to this business. replacing a latch on my car I was told would be around $350-425?! Why so pricey? I can buy the latch myself from auto zone at $120.

Horrible customer service !!!! They had no interest in explaining the estimate to my girlfriend and daughter... just threw the paperwork at them and said it's in there... then walked to the back.... I wish I was there...!!! Do not give them your business. They just want your $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
