On 1/23/24 I had to bring in my dodge charger for some maintenance issues I ve never noticed before. I was rightfully skeptical because money issues and it s not everyday I have to go to a car shop. But, my views on car shops were changed today. I spoke to a man named Dave on the phone and he made me well aware of what was going on when I wasn t around. He assured me multiple times that his mechanic had my car in great hands and that made me feel really great. He spoke to me like a good friend and made sure I was satisfied. When the time to get my car came around, I was made aware that I d be paying quite a bit but I know now that it wasn t at all just cash grabs or anything. Being at the shop itself Dave didn t treat me just as a customer, or as a friend, but instead he treated me like family. That to me is amazing customer service. My charger feels good as new and I have nobody to thank but Dave and his amazing mechanic. I know where I ll be returning and I know where I ll be recommending my friends and family. Don t question this place once. You ll be in great hands here.

I can t say enough good things about Adam. He was so helpful and so patient. He worked with me and showed amazing professionalism, and also flexibility. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly.!! Appreciated very much all of his time, effort, and energy. As a senior citizen and a widow, it was very refreshing to have someone treat you so respectfully and kindly. As I continue to inquire about several possible discounts, Adam reassured me he would help in anyway to keep the cost as reasonable as possible and he did just that! Thank you, Adam.

The professionalism and honesty of the person who handled my new tire(s) purchase, David, was very refreshing.These people are knowledgeable and they really listen to you.My experience here at Firestone was completely different than my experience at Goodyear. Night and day...take your car to Firestone, you will not be disappointed.

Went in for a faulty battery and some other problems, was quicker than expected and had full transparency/communication. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. The towing roadside assistance they work with also helped a ton. Didn t cost me an arm and a leg. Even slapped a coupon on for my oil change! Thanks guys.

I brought my car in to be inspected as to why the front driver side has been making a tapping noise. I installed new sway links and struts. They told me honestly that the links aren't tight. They can't tighten them because I installed these. They did tell me my serpentine belt is cracking a little and they filled my windshield fluid for 10 bucks. So I'll have to take a look at these links. Thanks for being honest .Update I torqued the links and it's still making the noise.

I have had 3 cars maintained at this place but they became incredibly expensive over the past year or so. Quoted $ 1,150 to change a timing belt on a Honda Pilot I was able to do at the dealer for $ 820. Quoted $ 1,050 to replace a sway bar on a Honda Pilot....you must be joking. I can change it by myself for $ 110 (cost of sway bar kit). They claimed it was 4.5 hours of labor.....completely insane !.....meaning they must charge at least $ 150 per hour for labor.....complete crooks. I am done with this place

We have used Firestone in the past and no issues.We recently moved and i needed assistance with my car and just popped in. It is extreme weather here and the gentleman was very gracious and gave us a hand, we are very appreciative of great customer service.

I just bought my third set of tires from Firestone in McHenry. My experience there was seamless as usual, Hence me buying tires there for the third time. The sales manager there Dave Henner did an exemplary job of meeting my satisfaction as he did the previous 2 times. I would recommend anyone in need of auto service to go to the Firestone in McHenry and seek out Dave personally, I'm sure he'll take care of you just as well as he did me.

The people there are really friendly and very helpful. I have taken my car there a few times now and they have been efficient and honest. I like going to them also because being a women most mechanics treat me like I'm stupid, but everytime I call they talk to me with respect and explain what's wrong. They let me know if it something that needs to be fixed now or can wait. The older gentleman that answers the phones (sorry can't think of the name) is always polite and makes me feel importation everytime. I would highly recommend them. Firestone in Mchenry is tucked in off 31. Stopped at a competitor block away. They asked "am I picking up a car?" As soon as I mentioned I needed a tire was given the cold shoulder, too busy for 1 tire. Went to Firestone and Dave was happy to help. He did more work and seemed grateful I was there. I recommend Firestone highly!

I got my tires replaced and I check out the service. Rider tells me twice that he has to add hours in for his tech because his boss made a mistake on the ticket. I said that s fine as long as I m not paying anymore and the guy goes off and starts screaming at me at the top of his lungs telling me he s going to call the cops I couldn t get my ticket fast enough and get out of there horrible experienceService: Tires

Even though the problem wasn t fixed (it has to be done at the dealer), the staff was so helpful & apologetic. We appreciate the professional service.

I had a road warranty repair on one of the tires I had put on last year. The appointment was prompt. They informed me that the tire was repairable, which was good news. Friendly, knowledgeable service.

The service writer called and told my wife that her serpentine belt looked horrible and how many miles are on your car? My wife told him about 121,000. You said yeah. My technician says that belt about ready to fail right now. I told him I'm going to need to call him back and make a call. Before I could call him back, he called me right back and said he's made a mistake that my wife's car is a hybrid and that he was looking at a different car and she didn't need a belt. I just want everyone to know that a Lexus hybrid doesn't have a belt!!!

These guys literally never fail to disappoint, had my vehicle 4 days for a for an engine mount replacmemt should have taken a few hours. Ordered incorrect part then made a point to making my vehicle their last priority, seemed least bit concerned over lost wages or the fact they were damaging my reputation in my occupation, been. Taking my vehicles here only cause of fair pricing outside of that these individuals have the worst customer service skills I've ever encountered .Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Very disappointed, I had a great experience on the phone with a rep by the name of Adam. I go in for my scheduled appointment and there was a different rep helping me. I didn t catch his name but my appointment ended up being a waste of time. They were estimating a wait time of about 3 hours and I can tell by this man s attitude that waiting for the service was not in my best interest.. he was condescending despite me trying to reschedule since they were less than accommodating. He stated it would still take 2 hours once they can pull my vehicle in to just change out the tires. Well I ended up going to Discount Tire and they had all my tires replaced in 45 minutes. I pulled my vehicle in at 4:26pm (4 minutes before my 4:30 appointment) and drove out by 5:07pm. The service was phenomenal, I d recommend Discount Tire down the street over Firestone.. never again!

I paid a butt load to get my brakes, oil change and serpentine belt along with new wrote blades, but the customer service done by Adam was amazing. Honest, sincere and tremendously helpful was worth the cost. Adam you went above and beyond as well as taking the time to look at my friend tire. Seems to be very well run. They are friendly, efficient and professional. I got 4 new tires and the lifetime alignment. They noticed another repair needed. Very pleased.I ran over a bunch of nails so I needed a new tire. They were very fast at replacing the tire so I could take it home and put it back on my car.

4 tires 3 1/2 hours. left grooves in rim that I had to point out. They did send it out to get fixed. Then 2 trips back to get it mounted again. Then service guy say the 20" tires can be difficult at times. Really! Really! You are a tire place. RUN! RUN! RUN!Service: TiresService: Tires

Took my daughter's car in today because she had a noise in ombre wheel. Great service. Support nice staff. They diagnosed and fixed the problem at an extremely reasonable price. My daughter will be very happy.

I had a slow leak and called to see if they had my tires in stock. They were happy to order 4 tires for me because I have AWD and your tires need to be very close in wear. My husband brought my car in and they were able to just patch my tire. So helpful and knowledgeable. I am so grateful they were willing to bring in the tires just in case I needed them. Thank you!

Went in for a routine oil change and a couple dashboard lights turned on while I was leaving. Looked under the hood and there was oil spilled everywhere. Pretty sure they shorted out my O2 sensor. Had them clean it up but it still isn't working correctly. Would not recommend.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I don t usually do reviews, but the sales manager and staff at this Firestone was super friendly, and very very fair. I took my car in because of overheating, could have been a slew of things a shop could have charged me for, and the sales manager assured me nothing was leaking and that a simple coolant flush should do the trick. Walked out spending way way WAY less then I thought. I ll bring my whip back here again.

Great people! Awesome job and very honest about everything. I took in my car for an oil leak. We fixed the cheaper portion ourselves and let them do the big job. They took it apart and found out that there was no leak from what they quoted me for and instead of fixing it they called and said "we aren't gonna charge for the mail seal because it wasn't the issue" Awesome experience. 10/10 would recommend them again.

Been visiting this location for around two years now and the service is always friendly and professional. The employee working the front desk is always very thorough when explaining the work and maintenance I have or need done, and never pushy!The technicians do a great job keeping my car in the best shape it can be.Went in for an oil change and inspection today and Adam was super helpful! Unless I move far away I ll be sticking with this place forever. Thank you guys!
