All around a great dealership. My girlfriend needed a car and we decided to drive an hour to come see a Jetta they had. Low miles! AND they gave us an amazing price. Really easy people to work with and very understanding. Steve was great, very patient with us and not pushy. They were very upfront with pricing and not sneaky about random fees. My girlfriend and I were very happy and satisfied with the car and the experience. Would 100% recommend people purchase from, here you won t regret it!

Very good dealership they honor what they say and even when things seem hopeless they do what is promised and will maintain their reputation.. Bought a 2010 Mazda from here it had a couple things here and there with some issues they automatically solved it and have been working nonstop to rectify any issues we may have had with it whilst under a warranty. Very helpful aswell and they re honest more than anything. Thank you again for your help

Bought a 2002 GMC Envoy it was an excellent purchase a great deal. They had to fix the seat and ended up putting new brakes and pads on before I bought it. Thanks so much for the extra work to make the deal go through. I am extremely happy with the car thank you so much again

Very nice people to deal with and not pushy at all. The vehicle I bought was in very good condition and needed nothing. I would highly recommend buying a vehicle here. Steve and Joe made the buying process very easy even though I was buying out of state from WI. I would make the 2 hour drive again to buy a vehicle from them. I was informed of a mean lady working here but was told that she no longer works here, so please disregard those older reviews that talk about her.

Great experience here throughout the whole process. No problems with getting me the paperwork for outside financing. Very polite and very clean cars on the lot. I can see a love for the automotive industry from the crew there. Would recommend anyone to go see them if they have a car you're interested in.

Thank you for making my new car purchase, 2005 Buick such a wonderful, experience, everything was so easy, Joe & Heide took so much stress off, and worked with the finance company to make the payments very affordable, will highly recommend anyone in the market for a car to come here first.

Completely satisfied and I think you will be too. Looking for a car that is just right for you then I recommend looking at Auto Outpost North in McHenry. I have been looking for a car for the last almost month and a half. It s exhausting work! My brother in law recently bought my nephew one from here and told me Id be be happy with this place so I drove in from Wisconsin. He was absolutely correct. They were friendly, not pushy and honest. I saw them putting sale prices on for the holiday and I think i got an amazing deal. My bank thought so too when i picked up the check. Looked at the car and others at 3 and because i was pre-approved before I arrived I had the car home by 7:30. I drove home to my bank got the check and brought it back. They got my car ready and i was on my way quickly. Go see for yourself!!! Its a tough market out there! First time with them and I know where i will send family and friends!! Steve and Joe were easy to work with but a big thank you to all for this experience. Gloria is a beautiful car!!!

Overall satisfied with the purchase price. Not satisfied with the overall inspection of the vehicle. It looks like they put WD40 on the rear brakes so that when I drove away I wouldn t hear or feel the disc brakes grinding. I ve had the vehicle for a week, and the rear brakes were grinding metal to metal. Spent $400 bucks and good as new, but I shouldn t have had to do that.

The owners were very nice and not pushy. Made the car buying process easy. Car we bought received a thumbs up from our mechanic. Very fair price and overall positive experience.

Heide is very rude and unhelpful, would not recommend coming here for first time buyers. She made us wait over an hour to test drive a car and we ended up not even driving it.Add on: Even though there were other appointments, when we went in to talk with you there was no one in your office who we interrupted. Instead we waited patiently for an hour and half before asking once again if someone would be available to help us with driving one of the cars. Never once we were rude or demanding. Seemed like once you knew we wouldn t be able to finance without a co signer you didn t care about our business anymore. Not that it matters at this point but we did have money to buy a different car outright that day. The lack of communication and dismissal of us being there was quite astounding. Telling us to schedule an appointment to come back a different time instead of lying to us and wasting our time would have been appreciated. Your rudeness and unprofessionalism was totally uncalled for.

Excellent experience!! Bought a 05 mountaineer premier. Heidi is great and has an awesome personality. She will ABSOLUTELY work with you within reason. The phone was answered Every time I called. The vehicle I wanted was held on a deposit and when financing fell through she called me right away. We work out the details at closing time and cause I was gonna pay cash, I put no deposit down and she put the vehicle in the back for me and got the paperwork ready before I got there the following day. TO ALL WITH BUYERS BEWARE! You are buying a USED car! There not lemons there used, if you buy a vehicle and it has mechanical problems 6-12 months down the road that s the gamble of a used car. If you think the price isn t fair don t stop and then complain just keep driving. Remember treat people how you want to be treated and you will be treat with respect.

If I could give zero stars I would. Heide was extremely rude and seemed to not want to give me the time of day. I came with my fianc�e and her mom to test drive a couple cars, Heide said we would be able to drive a car in 30 minutes, we waited over an hour and went home with out driving any cars. Being a first time buyer I expected more professionalism out of this dealership since my fianc�e has purchased a car from them before and had a great experience. It was super disappointing to be treated so disrespectfully, I was super excited to be able to leave there with my first car. We will NOT be purchasing from this establishment ever again. I don t recommend wasting your time here with Heide.

I NEVER thought that I would buy a car over the phone. BUT I spotted a great car with low miles and Heidi worked with me while I was getting the loan. After I bought it home I made appointment for my"guys" check it out and it PASSED 100% Nothing needed to be FIXED! I recommend them if you're looking for a great ride

Heidi was a extreme pleasure to deal with I highly recommend dealing with her , 5 star service. Whomever would rate less is one of those type of people with unrealistic expectations and demands and when something doesn t go in their favor they wanna ding the credibility of business with leaving negative feedback. People need to remember and realize this is the car business, they sell cars for profit and there are many steps and cost to get a car they acquire for sale. From inspection, advertisement other incidentals. I feel I was treated great, I knew what I was looking for, she had what I wanted and it was priced competitively across the market. I had all my ducks in a row and recommend everyone should do so, and know their credit worthiness status, and what they can afford. Again thank you so much again to Heidi and Joe for making it a great seamless experience, they will get repeat future business from me and friends & family.

If I could leave a negative rating, I absolutely would. I paid $15,000 cash for my car and was promised a title via FedEx within 10 days. It has been over 7 weeks and I still have no title.FedEx was given the wrong address and my title is now lost.Heidi, who sold me the car, has been very rude and less than helpful in finding my title.I have been yelled at, hung up on and sent repeatedly to voicemail. This is not how you handle customers who have been giving you repeat business.I will never do business with this dealership again. Not while Heidi is running the ship.I recommend you save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.

I bought a 2007 Mazda6 Touring from this dealership in April of 2017. I was in the process of trying to replace my car at the time because it was legit falling apart and I didn t want to be stranded somewhere. I had gone to a different dealership and drove a Mazda6 and seriously fell in love. The only reason I didn t buy that Mazda6 was because it sounded horrible under the hood. I started my search the same day for a different Mazda6 and found Auto Outpost North had one. My mother and I drove to the dealership as soon as we found out about it. They were very close to closing and had just received the car back on the lot. Even though they were basically closed, they allowed me to drive the 2007 Mazda6 off the lot for a test drive and I knew I had to have it, as long as it passed my dads inspection. They held the car for me and I went back the next day with my dad to show him the car. He approved and I started the process of purchasing. Remember how I said they just got the car back the day I showed up? Well, they had some work done on the car to raise the resell value. Since I showed up before they had a chance to raise the resell, I got the car for the price I saw online, as they felt it would have been dirty to raise the price before they could advertise it.I ve been driving this car for three years now and I still love it. Yes, it s had some issues. It s been a rusty project underneath and I ve replaced quite a few things on this car, but nothing that has been too expensive. Some of the issues I feel could not have been noticed before hand. However, there were still a few issues within the first year that could have been noticed and fixed, so that s why it s not a five star review. I definitely recommend this place for buying a car and I would definitely buy another car from them if I found one I loved more than my current car.

Horrible experience here. Do not recommend buying car there. They use sub-standard finance companies. Take deposit but fail to let you know that if you request a refund it will take 10 days. Go to a REAL car dealer. Finance company did not get my son'# credit app info, said it was not sent. Wanted to put us through the whole credit process again. That's more hassle then I need. And by the way, my credit was fine & not denied. I don't ever want another loan with One Main. Never heard of other 2 companies.

Friendly, courteous and no high pressure tactics. Heidi was a delight to work with. Joe was very helpful also. Great prices, fair, and honest. If I need a car in the future I will definitely be coming back!!Well I went back!! My daughter really needed a car. Heide was super fabulous. They had the car running and ready when we got there. She ran ALL the Carfax for us (no Xtra charge ). An hour and a half later we were driving out of there in our second Honda. The entire staff is friendly, very detail oriented and a pleasure to work with!! I highly recommend stopping by or giving them a call if you are in need of a new/gently used vehicle.Thank you Heide and Joe

The most unbelievably poor service. We purchased a vehicle from them and a week later realized there was mechanical issues with the vehicle. They said they would fix the vehicle at a lower cost than other places, so we took the car to them to fix. Two weeks later we had not received an update and when we called they claimed that they could not give us an update because that was confidential, like the car and mechanic had confidential rights. I had to threaten legal action before they told us anything about the car. When we asked for the car back they said they did not have the car. It was at a different mechanics house in another county. The next day when we finally got the car back, no work had been done to the car and they were extremely rude.

I would never EVER get a car from this shop, they screw you over in a heartbeat. Joe the owner got my parents and I hooked on a car and we decided to put a deposit and hold on the car. A couple days later he calls me to ask if we had gotten the money to buy the car and I assured him we were working on it and would give him a call back tomorrow. We called the shop back the next day and talked to another person who said they would give him a message. Three days passed and my parents went to check on the car before I traveled down there to get it the next day and we found out that Joe had sold the car we put a hold on. If you are looking at getting a car here I would seriously recommend that you do not because Joe is the worse kind of car dealership owner there is.

These people are crooks, I bought a car from here and not even a week later the engine light came on. So I called and brought it in to get it fixed. They "fixed it" i picked up the car and on my way home the engine light came on again. So again back to the dealership the car went. They "fixed it again" and this time I was told the problem is fixed but the engine light won't go off because it needs to be reset. So not knowing anything about cars I listened to what I thought were trust worthy people. I drove my car with the engine light on for 3 months until the car broke down. We don't have the money to take it in to the shop and can't figure out what is wrong with it. I still owe 3,500 dollars on this car and am now out $5,000 and I have no car to get to work. Please people don't let this happen to you. I spent all of my savings on this car. And now have nothing. Make sure you do your research and have a trust worthy dealer before buying a car.

I cannot speak highly enough about this place! It took two weeks from seeing the car the first time to holding the title! The owner was more than happy to let me peek at a 2007 Nissan Versa Hatchback that was in the shop getting painted after removing a couple scratches from the back. They fixed everything cosmetically (wasn t much to fix) and let my dad and I take it on a test drive. I instantly fell in love with it! After being denied the first time around for financing, Brad spent a couple days on the phone doing everything he could to get me approved. The car is quiet as a mouse, runs perfectly, was absolutely spotless inside and out, and is exactly what I wanted in a vehicle. I cannot thank them enough! I 100% recommend checking them out if you need a car!!

I would definitely recommend Auto Outpost North. While researching used cars for my daughter, so many of the good deals were attributed to Auto Outpost North, I had to stop in. Stephen was great to deal with, low key, no high pressure sales tactics. The vehicle we were interested in was fairly priced and all the cars on the lot appeared to be in great condition. There were a couple small things that were discovered during our independent inspection. Joe and Brad and Stephen were clear and reasonable in all our negotiations, and they fixed what was needed. They also gave a fair price for our trade-in. Do your homework, then stop by Auto Outpost North and check out their inventory - you might find a real gem! Thanks guys!

The lady heidi was unprofessional, she kept making jokes that I thought were inappropriate. Like I'm buying the car. I'm there to buy a car not listen to lame jokes. Very unprofessional. As soon as I walked in she told me i looked tired and sleepy... like what??? That's not how you greet a customer. I think she gave me and my mom the go around. And as soon as my mom said that the car we were looking at had rust, the lady changed her whole mood. Very disappointed. I'm glad I didnt end up getting the car from here.

My son bought his first car there, the car he was interested in had some issues with the transmission, he kept asking my son if.he was sure he still wanted it, causes he'd hate to sell the car to my son, then have the transmission go out and then he'd only beable to look at it instead of driving it. The car was advertised at $5800 and he sold it to my son for $5000. My son is bery happy with his car and is already taking the steps to get it fixed.

I purchased my 2005 Volvo XC 90 from the Auto Outpost North and I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a new, used car.I dealt with Brad directly as my salesman and he was absolutely fabulous, down to earth and honest! It's so hard to find an honest and trustworthy used car dealership, but I can truthfully say I trusted them.The process was incredibly quick, they worked with everyone I was requesting and sold me an absolutely beautiful car!Keep up the great work guys and i'll be back to purchase all my cars from you guys in the future!
