So I had a flat last night and didn t want to patch it, too far gone. Jacked my car up and took my tire off the car over to this Walmart auto care center to have a new tire mounted. Not only did that process take almost 1.5 hours with one other car in the lot for service, but they weren t able to get all the remaining tread from the tire off the rim so they left 1/4 of the tread left on my tire and basically left me to figure out how to get it off. Took it down to Farm Truck and Auto in Mattoon and they had the rim cleared off in like a minute and seemed shocked Walmart wasn t able to do something as basic as this. Trust and believe I was scrambling trying to get a simple tire change done (hours before my shift!) will never come back and will actively tell others not to.The only saving grace of this location is their service manager Travis who is very nice. Other than that, look elsewhere

It was so easy to stop on and have the tires rotated and balanced. No hassle at all. We had purchased the road hazard, etc. when we bought the tires and I'm so glad that we did. It's definitely worth the little bit of extra money. They offer great, fast service.

Tires came in and a appointment was set up between 7-8am on line! My son arrives there at 8am to find out the mechanic doesn't come in until 11:30am!They need to be more organized with their appointments when something has been ordered and set-up an appointment on line!!

Travis and Tolin were my heros today... I had a flat tire and they worked hard to make sure they got my tire changed before closing so I wasn't stranded! They did an awesome job and the service was super fast and super friendly!Service: TiresService: Tires

If I could rate one star I would. The worst customer service ever received. Both men working this morning were so rude and arrogant. Took my car in for an oil change and I asked what type of oil was needed for the change and he told me I don t know I m gonna do whatever the computer tells me to do. He gave me a very sketchy feeling and ultimately, decided to take my business elsewhere. Would not recommend bringing your car here.

When I got there Travis the Service Department Manager greeted me. I was almost too late for an oil change but he went ahead and took my car in. I got my grocery shopping done, and was running about 5 minutes after their closing time. As I was walking back to the service department, I met Travis. He had my paperwork to check out at the service desk. Travis also kindly volunteered to walk me back and let me out at the service department to get my car. Travis had been off the clock for quite awhile by then and still went the extra mile for me so I didn't have to walk all the way around the building. Travis was not only a great customer service ambassador, he was very polite and most accommodating after what was probably a very long day. We went in and the people who did our tires went above and beyond. I highly recommend them. They were very nice and answered all our questions and helped us find the best tires to work for our car

I'm really disappointed. I went out there to get my headlights changed because my car is complicated and requires the tire or bumper to be removed in order to do so. As that is beyond my abilities, which I explained to the desk guy on two separate occasions, I was very relieved to find out they only charge $7.50 per headlight change. When I got back there to get my car I was informed they couldn't do it because my car requires the tire or bumper to be removed. Yes, I know. We discussed that. Unfortunately, they stuck someone else up there to give me that news and the original guy was gone. From there, they didn't return the headlights I had purchased separately on a previous visit so I had to go back in to have them located as no one knew what the hell was going on. Normally, I like to give the benefit of the doubt. However, when you choose to ignore everything that I say because you have a certificate I don't, you lose all credibility in my eyes. I will never go back there.

Slow. Told us to come in anytime to get our tires we ordered put on. No appointment needed. Showed up one day and they said sorry we're booked up today, you'll have to make an appointment. Wasn't the best experience to say the least.

I saved $300 buying 4 tires cost me $1800 on rims, it looks like they used a Chisel on them and put the weights on the out side of my aluminum rims. If I could post pics I would.Update they sent me to a 3rd party who ruled no fault on them, don't go there if you have nice things, they have policies justifying low standards.

The worker named Chance was very awesome! I m not very big on cars & he made it completely easier to understand. Especially since I didn t bring my back up tire :/ he said he would stay longer until he got the job done! definitely the best service I ve had in awhile :)

I was told 45 minutes to change a single tire and to balance them. Took 2+ hours... great thing I work thirds and have a dog in a cage for now 11 hours.Go to Neil's Tires on Madison and 5th instead. I will pay the few extra for my sanity for now on, as you should too.

I understand it's first come first serve. I know others were put ahead of me. When they finally got my vehicle in to change the tires there sure was a lot of talking between the employees slowing their productivity down. It was my first time and going to be my last

Going on two and a half hours waiting for two new tires. Three guys 1 car at a time. The guy in front waited hour and half for a oil change was told they couldn't get the filter off so they couldn't do the oil change. Charged him $10.00.

The auto care department in the Mattoon Illinois Walmart has horrible customer service. It took 6 employees well over an hour to accomplish putting a new tire on a rim. The standing around was most aggrevating. When they decided to get to the simple task of switching the good tire for the bad, they got busy with a couple more customers and almost had a kaniption. I do not recommend this auto care center for any reason

Went to get oil changed in my truck and take old 4 wheeler tires off rims and put new tires on. They were very friendly service but unfortunately they no longer are able to do my 4 wheeler tirea due to some part on the machine switched to plastic and now wont let u do smaller tirea which really sux cuz i always like the convenience of being able to do everything in one shop instead now i have to make another trip just for my 4 wheeler tires somewhere else. Being a single father one stop qiuck convenience is key due to not having alot of free time with that said id like to see them bring back the machines to be able to do everything and all sizes of tires also i asked for new wiper blades and did not get them but wasnt charged for them either so its whatever i guess

After calling and confirming they could replace headlight bulb and advising to go get bulb at auto zone they wanted a $1000 waiver as they claimed had to remove bumper left and went to Car X and within ten minutes replaced bulb and did not have to remove bumper aweful service!

Recently, I went at the front desk and no one helped me to aid me with my car. I just tried calling today again trying to get a quote on getting my car fixed and the phone rang for 3 minutes and no one picked up. Does anyone work back there? I'm not pleased with how you guys care for customers back there or your phone response time.

Brought my vehicle here for an oil change. Got my filter and oil since Walmart doesn't carry that synthetic type and brand. Guys where quick and professional They handled whole work at the top level even by going extra mile when asked for Thank you Will be back

Absolutely horrible experience. Ive been waiting 3 hours just for a tire change! And theyre still not done! Never come here unless youre looking to waste a day of your life.Go to Mears Automotive instead, they actually care about your time and know what theyre doing

Bought a tire and had them put it on a rim. When I went to pick it up. I didn t notice it wasn t my tire. I now have to buy a rim and pay for them to put it on my truck since they gave me someone else s rim and tire that s a completely different size.

The auto care service is a joke I was told be here right before7 am ... locked door waited an hour then when the door finally opened I was told I'd have to wait 3 hours because there was only 1 technician you have got to be kidding me

Service you would expect from a Walmart. My car wasn t able to have tires put on because the points where it was to be lifted were rusted out. Literally had the car lifted hours before to have new struts put on, but if it s not exactly by the book they won t touch it. Btw this is after the 2 hour wait that I found this out.

Drove after calling and confirmed they open at 9am. When I got there, they said they open at 10am due to low staff. 15min later they told me they weren't opening today.
