I got into a small fender bender and brought my car to Paap s. I was very pleased with updates I received on my vehicle throughout the process. I would characterize Paap Auto Body as an upscale auto repair shop. I never dreamed there was such a thing as an upscale auto body shop, but I found one by "accident". I went to Paap because of a strong recommendation from a neighbor a few houses away from me. He said he used them many times and wouldn't go to anyone else. A little later the insurance adjuster mentioned he used to work at Paap and only had favorable comments. He also mentioned the insurance company might not always agree with repair shop pricing. If you are not familiar with the back-room haggling between your insurance company and the repair shop, Paap keeps you informed as much as they politely should. Here is something I found out, be prepared to pay extra beyond your deductible. I don't think their pricing and quality is a fault or a mistake. When I was driving my car out of the repair shop, I almost forgot why I had it in there in the first place. I was so distracted by the car interior. It was much cleaner than when I dropped it off. I think Paap will be around for a long time.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Under the circumstances this was a very pleasant experience. Paap Auto Body did a wonderful job on my vehicle. They kept me informed every step of the way. My vehicle was repaired perfectly and quickly.

Highly recommend Tim Paap and his team at Paap Auto Body! They went above and BEYOND on my repairs. Tim was such a huge help in navigating my insurance claim.My car was repaired timely, the staff was so gracious, and my car came back detailed and beautiful! I went in with a smile as I was hopeful after hearing such great things, and I left with a smile because they lived up to and went beyond my expectations! What a great place to have a repair done! Truck bumper replacement was completed on time and looks terrific. Paint comes with lifetime warranty! Can you believe both the inside and outside were cleaned from top to bottom when I went to pick it up! Even left some cool swag in the truck.

Got my tesla repaired here after hitting a deer, they got to work asap, only took 1 month to get everything completed where else the minimum wait time was 6 weeks to start. Communication was plentiful, I was updated on repairs almost daily. Repair rates are great, exact same offered by insurance estimates (who try to low ball you everytime). Rentals are convenient and fair prices, they even deliver the vehicle on the weekend for me. As someone who lives 2 hours from nearest tesla repair center, this is the best place to get tesla repaired around champaign.

I have never experienced customer service at this level. The entire staff at Paap Auto Body greatly exceeded my expectations. It didn t matter if it at night, morning, or even the weekend, the staff was always available. The staff made this one of the easiest processes I have ever been a part of. It is rare anymore to be involved with processes that exceed expectations, but Paap Auto Body was one of them. They have set the bar very high for customer service. I have tried to tell everyone I know about my experience with Paap. Even though I m hours away, I will take my vehicles here from here on out. This should be the standard that everyone sets out to meet. I cannot recommend Tim and his staff more. I would give this repair shop a 12/10.Service: Body & Trim

Our brand new Tesla Model Y (less than a week old) was rear ended in a drive through. Very minor damage, but it s a brand new car. We love our car, but one of the few negatives about owning a Tesla is that not many shops will work on them. Paap was recommended to us by another body shop. Although they re located 45 minutes from us it was totally worth it. Excellent communication via text and I was able to get an estimate remotely by snapping a few pictures on their website. One day turnaround for the repairs. I was 100% happy with results, can t even tell where the dents were. And then add on top of that they washed the exterior, cleaned the interior and put some flowers in the cup holder. Oh, and they updated my firmware. Local Tesla owners, you won t be disappointed with Paap Auto Body.Service: Body & Trim

Exceptional service. Kept me informed every step of the way. Job was completed in time Supply of parts from Tesla delayed the process a bit. Dealt with insurance company on my behalf. I have never been treated so well from an auto body repair shop before. From the card on my dash to flowers in my cup holder, a bag of goodies in passengers seat and the fresh smell in my car made me feel confident in choosing the right place because of they treat you this way then you know your car is in good hands as well. My daughter was in a freak accident on 1-57, on way home from EIU. We live 3 hours away. They towed the car to their shop, helped calm her down and kept her safe for us. The car was totaled and they helped us through the process. Amber in the Mattoon office went over and above. Paap Autobody made the whole process of my car repair so easy. They assessed the damage and worked to get the repair done quickly.When I picked up my car, it was absolutely spotless. They did an outstanding job of fixing deer damage all down the side of my 2014 Impala LTZ. I was always kept in the loop of communication as to when to expect completion. A part had to be ordered that wasn't noticed on the initial inspection but it wasn't any problem and only held to job up a couple of days. They thoroughly detailed my vehicle after the work was completed and it looks beautiful again. I would highly recommend them but hopefully I won't have to go back anytime soon. Estimate was sent promptly to me for insurance claim. No issues with insurance claim thanks to detailed quote. Used loaner car and car was repaired and returned on day promised. Kelly provided updates as the repairs were made. They cleaned inside of my car too before it was returned. Great to work with. Made it easy working with the insurance and there was little work that I had to do with the estimate or adjustments to the estimate. I was always kept in the loop and informed of any changes. Great at answering any questions I had and showing me the progress of the truck in the shop. Will do business with Paap again as my first choice.
