I originally praised this place earlier this week, but now I'm editing my review. I've been here every day since Monday as I had a slow leak and purchased two tires back in January 2024. During that time, when I first visited, I sat for 1-1/2 hours as they were pretty busy. When one of the technicians came to inform that they had been looking for my keys the whole time, I informed them that I had the keys.Three of their employees were looking for my keys; even called a few customers that had left already to see if my keys were left in their vehicles. When that was shared with me, I told them to "never be afraid to ask the customer if we have our keys" that was a whole hour waisted. Anyway, I received two front new tires and a wheel alignment, so I thought!Fast forward 80+days later... I came in on Monday, April 1st as I have a slow leak, had to get air twice since Friday before. I was told it was a two hour wait as it was still early morning I left went to work and came back after work, that evening. The leak was plugged, gave them a good review (which I've now changed) and had to come back Tuesday because my tire light came on again.I came back Wednesday shared what happened and they couldn't find that I purchased two tires earlier this year, but that Corporate was closed and would search their records for confirmation; I received more air, was told that I have three (3) 2023 tires and one 2018 tire, which was the front passenger side where they found the nail and one of the tires I purchased from them! I planned to go back Thursday as the hours are late night until 7p.Before going after work on Thursday, I called first as I didn't want to wait around to see if I would be receiving my new tire. It was mentioned during my Tuesday visit that the previous manager who were there during my January visit allegedly allowed shady stuff going on. I mentioned that because if that's the case, perhaps my receipt was rung up incorrectly, (my fault) , it will never happen again. I always put anything related to my car in the glove compartment. Sure enough the receipt was there but it didn't mention my two tires only the wheel alignment. (note to all, read your receipts before you leave any store).Went back on Friday after work to be told that Corporate was closed to come back Saturday. Well, today thinking I'm going to finally get my free tire and was told they didn't carry that brand and it wasn't their tire.I am so frustrated Y'all, because I can clearly remember when I got those tires I told my brother as he is a licensed diesel and auto mechanic what happened and his response was "why in the hell they put two new tires on in the front, they should've put them on in the back or at least rotated them!"Now I'm here and they won't give me a new tire unless I pay for it with $10.00 off.. Nah, I'm good.. You will no longer receive my service and/or money ever again, you just lost one...Folks going forward take pics of your old tires before you get them replaced with allegedly new ones unless you're watching the technician.Peace!

Arrived 30 min early for 1 pm appointment and asked the front desk. I am early is it going to be a long wait or I can come later I was told just 1 car ahead of you and it should be ok.1:40 pm checked with front desk. There is 1 car ahead of you once that is done it will take about 1 hour.No work ethics and value of customers time.

Manny is who helped me once I entered. He was very knowledgeable and friendly which is hard to find now days. The service was quick and he let me know what was going on step by step. Great prices and fast service. Thank you Manny!

DO NOT GO HERE! If I could leave 0 or negative stars I would. After bringing in my car for routine shocks, brakes, etc. last week which cost a ton, I had to return the car to this shop not even 24 hours later because parts that were fine before I brought the car in were damaged by the workers here (they denied they damaged them of course). So now, the car is still sitting there almost a week later because day after day, it's a different story of why they can't fix it yet/the parts aren't in yet but their story is "it'll be fixed tomorrow". No one even calls you to alert you of anything, I've had to call them to check the status. Management and corporate are a joke and are of no help. I am coming to pull my car out of there tonight to take it somewhere else to have it looked at because now I can't even trust it after what these people have caused.

ISAAC, the assistant manager here is ABSOLUTE TRASH!! He and the rest of his staff are complete scam artist. You can call about the same tire in one day and 2-3 different people will give you different quotes for the exact same tire then not even honor the best price you were given when you come in! Had my mechanic come in to pick up a tire and he didn t honor the price that was quoted to me, was extremely rude to me and proceeded to hang up the phone on me when I corrected him. His attitude was completely disgusting. He even lied and said that the manager wasn t working - low and behold, the store manager caught wind of the conversation and called me back to offer the price I was originally quoted! Just shady! I called Discount Tire next door and without question gave me the tire I needed for the quote I was originally given at MAVIS! Now that s customer service! Take your business to DISCOUNT TIRE! They actually value their customers!

Driving cross country NYC - Colorado, broke down and quickly brought my truck to this Mavis. Man let me tell you the mechanics Marcus - shop manager and Marco - Shop Mechanic jumped on my truck without questions and quickly took action. My up most respect and great thanks to these gentlemen. Top notch services thank you guys

They opened at 8 i left at 830. Very prompt and knowledgeable about tires. I am a girl and i didn t feel uncomfortable there at all and nothing was over priced. For the wait i wven got a discount on my next oil change.

Devante and Marcus were awesome. Very respectful and courteous. They immediately helped me. I had a slow leak and the took my vehicle right in at the appointment. Service was quick, professional and effortless. I was shown a nail in my tire, they plugged it and gave me a more than reasonable price. I will definitely be using them again and will definitely refer them to my p.eople

This place is full of SCAMMERS. From the pretty little light-skinned female at the front desk, all the way down to her incompetent mechanics in the back. I went there to get my brakes inspected because they were scrubbing. It went from $600 to $1000 to $1400 all the way to $1900 just for rear brakes. They made it sound like they were doing me a favor by saying I ve discounted as much as I am allowed to . They damaged my equipment so bad that even if I didn t want the service I had no choice but to get it, because the original parts could not be re-assembled. I got a quotes on the same parts from advanced auto ($380) and Napa Auto Parts ($630 and this is the same store that Mavis store #1067 was ordering from). My vehicle was there from 9am until 6:15pm. To top it off the last service that I was charged for that took the price from $1400 to $1900 was parking/emergency brake pad and hardware replacement was not done at all. I drove all the way back from Illinois to Texas with no emergency brakes, pulling a 40 ft flatbed trailer. Very dangerous and reckless to send me on the road knowing they had not completed the job that I was already overcharged for. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Very unprofessional business being ran in Matteson, IL.

If I could rate this location 6 stars, I would. Marcus and Vaughn assisted me. They were professional and very pleasant. My wait time was speedy despite it being near closing time. I would most certainly return if need be.

No stars, thumbs ... This place was in Calumet City before, the old one was really bad with their customer service, same problem here, no changes. There's no excuse for having a senior citizen wait from 8:30 am till almost closing time 5pm on a Saturday, and telling the customer sorry for the wait. We saw customers walking out, and they said sorry for the wait and we couldn't help. While we saw three or more mechanics debating on who was going to buy food that afternoon. All I say, lazy, lazy people, and the owner needs to replace their staff or close down this store. No excuse for lying to customers, when you walk in and tell your customers that it will take two hours, you drop off your car, you come back after two hours and your car has never moved. Waiting another two more hours for the same issue, shame on you Mavis! We just walked out, all you hear sorry for that. And I hear from other customers that you over charge too, shame on you, close down if you can't provide good customer service. I will tell everyone about your 'bad customer service' and by the word of mouth hoping you make changes or close down your store!

I was in a bind and needed new tires right away. The guys at this location took good care of me even tho it was very close to closing time. Very nice and understanding regarding my situation I was in. I even got a very good discount on my tires.

If I could give this negative stars I would!!!! This is the most rudest!!! Unprofessional car places I have known! Tammy was rude rolling her eyes the whole time not wanting to help until it was time to try to convince me to spend 1000 s of dollars then when asked a question and I try to be sure she was referring to me she stated well I don t see anyone else here y all can not pay me to ever give this place my money close this damn place!

They suck! I informed the guy at the front desk that I needed an oil change and my brakes changed. They are squeaking and loud.I waited for over an hour and found out they only did my oil change.To top it off they didn t even put the correct next service date.They put todays date.

If you have a whole day to kill and listen to lazy mechanics order there breakfast and lunch go right ahead. I went to Matteson,Ill. on Cicero St. and it sucks and to top it off very expensive. Wow the owner is going to lose this place quick if he does not attend this situation.

They change all 4 tires and the next day inspect the work and find a missing lug (it was there) on one back tire and barely tight. The other back tire was very tight and a fresh broken lug found. 4 good tires (I hope) with a poor install.

This place is wonderful! I needed air in all of tires due to the cold weather and not only did they give it to me for FREE BUT actually provided the service so I didn t have to get cold. Thanks to Rob, Tammy, Terrell & team.

Whatever you do, don t go here!!! I went in to get work done and my car drives horrible. I paid over 2,400 to get 4 new tires, 4 rotors, 4 calipers, wheel alignment, balance and brakes. I wanted to get all this done before the winter. One thing they do well, it math, they ll add up everything they say your car needs, but I m convinced they don t even do it all. Don t leave your car up there, you need to verify that they re even doing what you paid for. My truck shakes when it goes over 60mph, pulls to the left and sound rattled while driving. Keep in mind, it didn t do any of this prior. The guys up are not good with communication with one another. They ll have 4 people working on your car and each one says Well I just handled this or that, you have to speak with so and so about that the complete run around. When I came to pick up my vehicle, one tire only had 3 tight lug nuts, 1 was missing and the other I was able to take off with my hand. Guess what the response was? Oh, your lug nuts were bad. That was a lie! The guys in there are young and very inexperienced, they don t really have knowledge of anything beyond changing a tire. My honest opinion is that this place should be shut down. My truck drove better before they touched it. I will never step foot in this place again. They want to offer me money off an oil change, please. I regret ever stepping foot into this poor working environment. Just pathetic service. I can t even believe they re positive comments, they must be family! I learned a lesson that cost me $2,400+!!!

The service was absolutely horrible. They took way too long for new tires and alignment. Over 3 hours is not good. And they tried to sell me higher than was quoted over the phone. And everybody went on break at the same time. I will not recommend this place.

First & foremost I want to thank "Manny", and his team for taking care of my brake pads and rotors. The Honesty he gave was above & beyond amazing. If you need honesty and great prices,go to Mavis in matteson,in these trying time's we are can afford something different and better! For now on my friends and I will go to Mavis in Matteson.
