The security over there are very rude to a limit that makes you uncomfortable going there. It's full of uneducated workers no more dealing with them

It was an amazing experience. From the security personnel at the checkpoint charlie to fellas that fill a low tire or throw enough gas in a vehicle to get you to a station. I was truly amazed at the coordination and communication at such an expansive facility.

I wanna know whose bright idea was it to close the second entrance. Instead of making it simple for the truckers to pull in then pull out we gotta all pull in and out of one entrance. Then do a U-turn at the end. And most of the cars haulers can t turn very sharp without damaging a vehicle.

Local transporter here. Lately I have so many issues when picking up cars. Besides 60% older cars not starting there are issues with non OBD transponders. Meaning they don t work or out of date. Lot vision shows location that was logged 1-2 days ago. Security guard shack tells to look in a different lot but it s never there (it seems that when vehicles get moved the staff don t do their work). Location on lot vision does not correspond. Security is their moto. And just last week it took 4 days for them to locate a car. Cars scattered all over. No power jump boxes to borrow. No number to cal for jump/tow away. Where are the smart cars. No shuttle? This auction is out of date. It s a middle finger who wants to deal in lot. And off course they are friendly at the office. Of course.

I bought a 2021 Volkswagen from the TRA sale on my mobile app showing a nice Blue vehicle which nobody bids on except me . I got curious and got to the desktop to look at the CR and found that the pictures shown on the CR is for a Ford Escape and not a Volkswagen and the Volkswagen has been sashed in the front, side and the back. I arbitrated the vehicle and I was told that the actual condition of the vehicle is in the detailed CR and it does not matter what is shown on the pictures on the main CR. I was told that I was at fault since I did not open the CR and check the report and as all of you dealer know that you can't open the CR if you are bidding on a mobile device. Further, I was told that the CR writer or the online listing person may have made a mistake but guess what I have to pay for it. If you are buying front this auction, do not trust the CR, pictures or anything that is visible but make sure to read all the fine prints before bidding, otherwise you will be end up paying dearly like I did,.

I was delivering a car here, arrived at night and was told that I cannot stay there at nightand no one cares that you can't leave there because you don't have time for Logbookguards drive drivers onto the roadworst place for drivers!!!!!!!!!!!all over America it is allowed to come to the parking lot at night and unload the car in the morning, but not in Chicago, the worst place, the attitude towards drivers is the worst

I visited the auction lot to pick up a vehicle. I definitely think that this location is very unique due to its size alone, which is a plus. You can come for 1 car only but end up looking at 5 other cars. All the vehicles appear to be decently maintained and the one I retrieved even had a good charge and tire pressure read out. The staff was helpful when I had trouble setting up the car finding app and were respectful to me while checking in and out of the lot. My only real negative comment is that there are no modes of transportation avaliable to people walking the lot. It's almost like a town inside and having the option to borrow a golf cart or bicycle would be helpful instead of having to walk for a long time. Otherwise I enjoyed my time and will definitely try to come back again some time!

I've bought cars at manheim chicago over 30years. It's by far the worst out of the other manheims. They treat you as the color of your skin not a business entity. It feels like a slave plantation. I've never seen them harass any white dealers on the lot like the do the black car dealers in the 30years I've bought cars. It's a total disgrace. They ban me for life and called it being unethical from odometer tampering. Without a warning, fine or nothing. This absolutely the most racist place in the world. I can go on and on about manheim unethical practices over my 30years of buying cars here. I've been apart of all of them. They have a new racist manager name Zack Aiken. Which they just had to fire one for making racist comments. He has dislike me from the beginning because ive have knowledge and I'm black. That's a threat to him. He couldn't wait to stop my family from making a living. He aided in the life ban for Odometer tampering. Ban me for life from all manheim for life without any meeting, discussion, fines, probation or etc... it's actually policy to get a warning.

169 days and still no title to a vehicle I purchased at a factory sale in October of 22. Two weeks of trying to contact someone with no call back and no notes in the system that I ever called (6 times, holding an average of 14 minutes each time). I finally got a hold of Joseph s Supervisor Austin. Austin said they are not responsible and when I said I need better service or I m taking my 6 store s business elsewhere he replied you do what you think is best for your business . Millions in sales fees and thousands of vehicles purchased and this is what they think of their customers. Dealers BEWARE

The arbitration department is CORRUPT I did buy a car and report it to PSI and 3 weeks later they told me that the car did PASS the inspection.. WOW the 4x4 wasn t engaging and the rear differential is slipping ..!!!What a joke cause the seller did pay someone at the arbitration some good money to dispute the issues..Well I am glad there is more options now a days more than Manhiem Auto Auctions.Sadly I have been going there for more than 18 years but can t control people now a days and I am going to raise this issue to corporate and by the way I did talk to the many in WIS and he was super UNFRIENDLY.I am proud to say I have almost 800K followers on Google they are going to see my reviews.

Absolutely trash company. A lot of illegal activities go through this place. After purchasing a vehicle with 70k miles on dash but 200k on history, they have no answers, explained they will not help, and told me they will do nothing, that I should get a court order to get the title then hung up. Indiana and Illinois state police are involved. 9,600 spent and I can't even get the title. Apparently this is a normal thing according to Indiana AG office. Absolutely last time I get anything from this place, or state.

If you like uncaring employees. Other dealers stealing floor mats/keys from your auction. Enjoy not having damaged disclosed or tire damage? You are in luck. Head to Manheim. They will take care of you.

It is always a bittersweet feeling with this place. For example, you will find out you were dealing with the wrong staff member after waiting in the wrong line. The front desk does not guide you correctly!!! You will go out at the gates and cannot tell wich one is the one you need to go through, but you will be told after you approach the wrong one. The problem is that no one has time to waste! Some signs may save time, headaches and confusion.

Long story short, bought a car with limited guarentee, checked out the vehicle low on oil & coolant not showing at all at proper level, looking at it frame wise, it has a Rot spot in the rear quarter panel , the cool thing I haven't receive any phone calls nor Emails from the arbitration, they did a Buyer bought by default, because it's surface rust, well take a good look at the picture attached, you can tell what surfaces they talking about.definitely not gonna be dealing with Manheim anymore even it's a $1 transaction I can't trust them these days.

Everything went pretty smooth except the lady behind the glass in the security office . If she was to actually try and be helpful to the people that need to go in there , it would be a better place to visit . The young man at the receiving desk had a great attitude and very patient with me , forgive me for not remembering his name . Tall and thin man Awesome attitude he has for his Job . ( Ben behind the gate )after i finally received the printout of the release form I needed to pick up the vehicle. He also was friendly, very patient , and quite helpful . Give the two men all the stars possible , and a raise . ( if i had the power to do so , i would ) the woman in the security office could certainly use some training in customer service though , ( too bad i do not have that power ) . But I guess being as since she knows how that buttonless printer works , she assumes everyone does . There is also a very ,very , helpful woman that answered the phone when I called for assistance. Again I do apologize about not remembering her name either . I would send flowers to her and a raise on her next check . ( if i had the power ) the work order number was #4211421 with that number and F150 mentioned , I am sure the dots could be connected to properly thank the people I mentioned accordingly.I have noticed that each Manheim has a different way of doing things . But in the end , have the same results . GOOD JOB MANHEIM !!

Extremely bad customer service after the sale, to charge are very efficient the do right away , once they have you're money you are in for hell if you have any questions about the vehicle ( lady by name Kelly , rude and never call back as promised ) spent countless hours in order to locate a vehicle that I purchased and transportation was not able to pick up because vehicle could not been found.....

Cox is a terrible company to work for. They're the cheapest greedy stingy penny pinchers you ever don't want to meet. Very anti-labor company.

As Much as I like this Auction it's changed over the year's. Not sure why the inventory lanes are parked in such an order. The lanes are staged with lane 1 set back about what feels like 3 miles for starters. It goes lane 1,2,3,4,5,10 14,16,18,20,21 and then 6,7,8 are parked on the opposite side of the building. QUESTION. Wouldn't it be easier and more cost effective to to park these Vehicles in on location? Use the concrete slabs to create parking secluded to one area? Test track along guard rail already in place. Security place at both openings and cars can't leave that section until Thursday. No more employees running around Thursday Morning tying to locate sale vehicle's. I'd bet it would save a lot of money.
