Worst experience ever, I had a reservation through insurance, came and accidentally forgot my license, Went back home to get it and these people don t take temporary licenses that you get off the government website, telling me I need to go to the DMV to get a copy from them directly! Now why would I do that when you re able to renew your license ONLINE! This was the worst inconvenience I ever experienced and if it wasn t for me needing this vehicle in order to drop off my vehicle for repairs I would ve cursed every person out in here and I know I will never come to this location again for any reason. Now I have to have someone else come up here to get the vehicle for me A COMPLETE waste my day and time, not to mention I m trying to do this all during work because they close at the time that I get off work. Never again!

I had the worst experience ever. I provided a current utility bill for my home and I couldn't match because it didn't match my id. I also pulled up a current letter from other address but because it wasn't a utility bill o couldn't rent. I also I needed to provide my own insurance but I don't have any because I don't have a vehicle. Now my weekend is ruined and I can't go to the Dr.

I love them I stay down the street from an Enterprise but I rather go to the one in Matteson Illinois that customer service is marvelous and they treat the people with respect

The team was great. I had to get a vehicle because of an accident and I was not happy. They took care of me and made getting the vehicle and returning the vehicle simple and easy. I was put at ease because the team was knowledgeable and friendly.

I'm giving the 1 star for the very friendly and courteous young woman who drove me to and from Enterprise-Matteson location yesterday. If it weren't for her, I'd say that this location didn't earn the 1 star AT ALL. The red-haired woman behind the desk at Enterprise was extremely unhelpful, both in person and on the phone earlier that day. She even falsely stated that Enterprise doesn't allow us to split payments. After I got back home, I discovered on Enterprise's website that they do allow split payments as long as both cards are in the name of the customer. The woman tried to glaze over her unhelpful attitude with a smile ,but that didn't make the experience any less hurtful and inconvenient than it was -- thanks to HER. Apparently, she forgot that Enterprise has competition, including Uber and other rideshare services that also offer car rentals. Thanks to that unhelpful individual, I do not plan to return to Enterprise ever again.

Super friendly helpful staff! Didn t have the car I originally wanted but Ken was able to help me find one that reminded in my price range. Big thanks to Ken for making the process super smooth and quick for me. It s nice to have the professionalism and quickness when already dealing with the hassle of needing a car rental. Thanks to the team there!

The customer service was fine and expedient considering how crowded the place was when I arrived. However, the car I was given wreaked of marijuana the ENTIRE week that it was in my possession. Please do a better job of cleaning and airing the cars. Thanks.

The Enterprise Team at GG Matteson 4545 Lincoln Hwy deserves the highest rating and more. I was running late from downtown appointment. I called the location to explain that I was caught in traffic and the team waited for me despite my late arrival (which was after closing hours). They ensured the vehicle was ready, provided additional guidance about some of the vehicle's special features. Did I mention they did not rush through paperwork, personally escorted me to the vehicle, and provided well-wishes for a safe journey? Whenever I rent from Enterprise, this is my preferred location and the one that I will recommend to others. JOB WELL DONE!

I reserved a compact rental car just about an hour before I was to get off work at 4pm. I also requested a courtesy pick up in which they told me they would be here at 4. I'm off work and notice a missed call about an our before I got off, which is around the same time I reserved the rental. I called when I saw the message and was on hold for what seemed forever. I called back again and spoke with someone who said they wanted to confirm the reservation and go over what was available. Because I missed the call, they did NOT send the courtesy car even though I had JUST made the reservation. I waited over a half an hour before the car arrived. I get to Enterprise and they tell me they don't have the car but they can give me another car for about $30 more a day. Then tried to justify this by saying he called me, left a message and I didn't return his call. I told him very nicely that I work just like you and I service people just like you so I didn't even see your message until an hour later and if you didn't have the car then why did they confirm the reservation. I ended up not renting the car and took an Uber to where I needed to go. This is by far Theeeee WORSE service I have EVER experienced with Enterprise, even at this location in Matteson. They shouldn't confirm reservations if they don't have the vehicle. This was a total waist of my time.

Great Enterprise! The staff is fast, thorough, knowledgeable and pleasant! Shout to to Chris! Great service!!! I was in & out so quickly. The staff was very understanding of my situation and made sure that I was taken care of. My car was clean and had no issues. I highly recommend this location!UPDATE: I needed my rental longer than expected. The team at this location went WAY above and beyond to accommodate my needs! If I need another rental in the future I ll definitely be going back to this location!!!! Incredible experience!

My sales associate was friendly when placing me with a vehicle. She we explained everything in detail. She also gave me a follow up call and suggested I call if I had issues. I had my rental for a month and it was great. I returned the truck in good standing and received my deposit in 2 days.

Called this morning to book a compact car for a couple days as our car broke down. Got there they said they gave it away 20 minutes ago. We showed up 10 minutes prior to our appointment. He said the contact center doesn t know what cars they have and just offered an suv for triple the price. This is is disgusting service for enterprise. I know the associate had no control over the situation but the company has zero communication with their stores and made a bad situation worse. Never using enterprise. Hertz down the street was able to take care of us.

My experience was great!! The staff were all extremely cordial! The car was cleaned on the INSIDE and the outside. Furthermore, I received an email to confirm my reservation and received two calls from the location to confirm my reservation two days prior and the day before. Once I arrived, the car was already waiting for me. I was 100% impressed with the professionalism of the staff. As soon I walked in the door I was immediately greeted and asked, "Is there anyone assisting you?" I will definitely return to the ENTERPRISE location in MATTESON, IL. They're the BEST!!

Great customer service. The entire team was awesome from picking me up to get the vehicle and then dropping me off for the return. Very professional and friendly. Chris got me in the vehicle I needed at my request. The vehicle was very clean too. Just an overall great and quality customer service experience.

This was my third time renting from this place and I have to thank them! I was going to rent an SUV for 3 days and they were kind enough to save me over $300.I reserved this vehicle the night before for 9:00am. It was a last minute trip confirmation.It has been my usual experience that the cars are never *really* ready when you arrive so I called at about 9:30 when I was on the way to pick it up. I spoke with customer rep who was well versed in "tough love."I was told the SUV was not available, but had I been there on time it would have been. My first response was agitation that they gave my reservation to someone else, but the rep was patient enough to correct this false assumption. She didn't say it out-right, but walked me through the process in a gentle way so that I had no choice but to come to the conclusion that expecting the car to be there 45 minutes afterward was my mistake!Reminding me firmly that the car was there and ready 9:00 reassured me how much they valued me as a customer Enterprise had no choice but to "allocate" it elsewhere to teach me a well deserved lesson!As a mere customer, it is I that needs to rearrange my schedule so that is more convenient for Enterprise! In the future I will strive to do better!They were very forgiving of my transgressions, and offered to *maybe* have a car 11, but could not guarantee it. The bottom of my jaw was bruised after hitting the ground! How generous of them! They would just wait around for almost 2 more hours to see if something would just "appear"! I simply could not put them through that though, so I used my own car despite how crowded it would be. I had imposed enough.In the future, I will strive to be a better customer for them.My rating of 1 star applies to me of course, not them! We should all strive to be better customers!

I talked to a young man named Trenton at the Matteson Illinois Enterprise . He was very courtious. He took his time and explained everything to use. He is an asset to the company and community.

Justin is awesome! He helped resolve an issue that I had with a previous location and was very helpful throughout the 6 weeks term of my rental contract. It was impressive how well he was able to handle the large amount of customers, in person and over the phone, as he was the only associate in the office at the time that I picked up my rental vehicle. He was always very personable and helpful each and every time we spoke. Ice, the store manager, was great as well; very fast and easy return/check-out process with her help. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

All I can say, is useless, when you re in trouble and you need a car now because your car broke down and you re an hour and a half from home, and you asked for some help and they say no. Useless.

The experience was the worst I have ever had. I had an appointment that was not ready. I had to wait over an hour after I made reservations a week ago. After one hour of waiting in the freezing rain the day before Thanksgiving, the rep states that I can have a rental for an upgrade of $29. Well of course I take it because I have been waiting in the freezing rain already for an hour and I was not going to wait another hour while they clean the car that was supposed to be ready by the time I arrived for my reservation. The Enterprise Rep told me one price and the receipt charges me over $100 of what the rep swindled me out of. I will be calling their corporate office and making a blog post. I may make a short film and hope it goes viral. Saving this post and posting to other review sites to share with the world. No stars.

Convenient return service. Quick and simple when you reserve online. I rated 4 stars because it gives you the option to buy insurance online but then they don't accept it. I ended up using my own insurance which luckily i had or I wouldn't have been able to get the vehicle. So heads up make sure you have your own insurance.

I contacted Enterprise after experiencing some car problems and I wanted to rent for the weekend. The rates were great! The first car they offered me was slightly dirty in the interior but the rep offered me another vehicle. I was supposed to have an standard sized vehicle but they upgraded me at no additional cost to a crossover and I was extremely pleased. I had no problems with the vehicle during the rental. I must say the customer service was great! I would definitely rent from Enterprise again.

It was the worst service I have ever had with Enterprise and I have been using them for over 10 years. I made a complaint several times and no one addressed my concerns. I called Corporate leaders no one has gotten back to me. The whole reason I rented the car was to attend a Funeral the car I received had tire issues when I received it unknown to me drove 10 hours had to have my husband change the tire to a donut then tried to get another car they gave me another car the fob did not work, gave me another car that did work however after all that the funeral was over and we missed it. I am so disappointed and will investigate another rental car agency. Terrible experience just glad we were not hurt.

This rental experience was the absolute worst I have ever had and I'd give it a half star or less rating if one was available! It all started when I checked the website for a rental and found a rate of $48, which I reserved. I arrived at the Matteson location to pick up my reserved vehicle and the contract was already prepared and waiting for my signature, which I presumed to be at the rate I booked. Normally, when you rent a car, the rep reviews the contract with you prior to you signing to make sure everything is correct. Instead, the rep, who happened to be the manager, didn't do this; instead he asked if I wanted to add the insurance coverage, which I told him "no." He continued to try and push the insurance coverage on me after I explicitly told him I did not want it, which I found very annoying. Since the contract was never reviewed with me, I didn't notice that the daily rate was $90 until I happened to look at it a few days into the rental, after realizing I needed to extend the rental period. I immediately called the manager and brought this to his attention; he told me there was nothing he could do. To add insult to injury, when I returned the car I arrived before noon and had to wait to be taken care of. I was asked to have a seat and someone would be with me shortly. At 12:08 p.m. I was finally waited on and I was appalled to find that I was charged an extra day because it was noted that I brought the car back past noon, when clearly I sat in the office for at least 10-15 minutes before being helped! How is it the customer's fault if you arrive before the return cutoff time and no staff is available to take care of you? This is the most unprofessional, inflexible and inept operation that I've ever dealt with and I will never do business with Enterprise again; and will I discourage anybody else from doing so, as well. I will be taking this up with my credit card company and reporting this tomthe BBB because this entire transaction smacks of deceptive practices. Very annoyed and upset with this experience!

My vehicle is in the shop. Needed a car fast, and came here. It's affordable, and had a nice car. Came to return it after work tonight and I was taken care of quickly (it's crowded after 5pm). Because I had to go to another job, they dropped me off after they finished taking care of their other customers. Had a lovely ride to my other job. Will definitely go again when I need it.
