Worst customer serviceI always come to this location in Markham, IL, for several years on this particular day. When I arrived the receptionist was outside talking to a friend and getting food. I had to wait to finish her conversation to be served. When she did come her attitude wasn't the best very snappy and unprofessional. When I came to pick up my car her attitude was the same. She gave me a receipt when I asked for the envelope. She slammed the envelope to me. I told her that customer service is everything in a business. She states she knows. I did speak to the management and he stated he would handle it. But overall the car service was great.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Place is garbage.. took my sons car in for a new transmission line.. got the car back with more problems then it had.. the oxygen sensor was disconnected, trans dipstick was broken off, transmission fluid was way belowoperational levels.. took 3 quarts to fill back to normal.. cost him $200 for the trans line and another $150 to fix there mess.. stay away from this rip off place..

They completely destroyed my car. They were supposed to replace my alternator. Now, my car doesn't go over 40, still have a bad alternator, it's now knocking and shaking when I drive it. They made my car 100 times worse than before.

They do good work and their prices are fair but their timing is off. If they say they will be done in an hour it means 2 hours and if they say they will be done in 30 min that means an hour just double what ever they say to save you the frustrations I have .

Went in a desperate time of need after nearly a fatal accident of my arm bar snapping while driving. A friend recommended me to this location even though I had my own mechanic I gave them a try because I support family businesses. Unfortunately at the time of drop off I didn t see it was cash only, but they fixed my vehicle and gave me time to pick up the car but had charge a holding fee for $50 a day extra.I came to pick my vehicle up and upon arriving an heavier set obese gentleman gave me very poor customer service. Giving me a lecture for leaving my car 4 days after drop off of the vehicle being fixed after charging me $150+ in holding fees of which I paid.The mechanics were very nice but the Hispanic obese gentleman put a stamp on me to not do business with them again.I highly recommend to not use this establishment if you re looking for regular maintenance. This is an emergency stop only spot. This was my first and last time with the company. Highly disappointed especially when I was in a time of need to be treated this way.I would ve gave 1 star but since the young lady that works there was so kind and the mechanics fixed my car properly I ll give 3.Please switch management as I wanted to make this a regular spot.Service: Auto maintenance

I've been coming here since they've been in Markham. 3 vehicles. When I say honest, affordable, and knowledgeable!! I mean it!!! I trust them!!! They've never "steered " me wrong !!! They are truly #1!!!

The younglady behind the counter has a horrible attitude!! No way will I ever spend my hard earned money with an establishment that can literally disrespect you AND overcharge?!! Never will I use not only this location but ANY of these locations again!

They are top notch as always....stop going to them because we moved away, but I'll drive from where every for their service, quality, efficient, grand work. Like I said they are top notch. We will be there for all of are vehicle's needs!!!!

Terrible service. Paid $300.for complete exhaust from converter backend 5 months later exhaust was loose took it back and they did not replace middle piece for pipe. And now want another $140 to replace pipe that should of been replaced. I do not recommend using them. Not honest.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

They work fast and are fairly priced. I have only had oil changed, brakes fixed, and tires mounted or rotated. Waiting room is comfortable enough and rest rooms seem decently clean. The place is easy to spot from Kedzie. Mufflers seem to be their speciality but I have seen them do major engine work.

Reasonable neighborhood auto repair shop. Quick service . Only drawback is it s cash only. Other than that. It s good. I ve been coming here for 10+ years. Customer service is ok

They balanced my rim to fix a leak and then sent my husband on his way but the tire still was losing air so I took it to a tire shop on my way home and they find a huge piece of metal in my tire that was causing the actual leak so they just charged us for doing literally nothing they didn t even look at our tireService: TiresService: Tires

First off they don't open at 8am more like 815am so the girl walks up opens the door says nothing to those of us standing outside an apology was in order but none was offered so now let's see how the work and service is so now mechanic comes out to tell me that I don't need anything done other than what I came in for so yes I was surprise he didn't try to add stuff I was pleased I asked for an wheel rotation happily. I would say honest service and good. But I have to agree with one review the girl behind the counter lacks processional qualities on this day at this time

They only take cash but they got the repair I needed dine in about 30 minutes on a Saturday. I don't carry cash so this was a little inconvenient plus I prefer to use my cards so I can have reliable proof of payment. But hey beggars can't be choosers.

Last week was my first time using this shop. I kept it simple, and only wanted a tire puncture repaired. I found a small metal rod in one tire, which has been causing a very slow leak. I took it into this shop. I am not 100% sure but it looks like they simply covered the rod with a sealant rather than pull it out and patch it properly. You get what you pay for. Just be aware. I don't think I will use this shop again. Good luck.I now believe had they removed the rod, the tire would have been irreparable; the rod is on the outside edge or the tire. One star to three. Slow leak has not returned.

Well took my Low Rider there which is a classic 1973 Chevy Caprice Classic Conv, i`am very skeptical who works on my Car, needed exhaust work. my car was very loud so they check it out and all i needed was for 4 out of 8 bolts on my headers where loose, they tighten them and it took care of the problem!!! i do recommend Velasquez Muffers to all that need good honest work done to there car or truck or Custom or Classic Car....good people to deal with without being ripped OFF...100% HONESTService: Exhaust

I have taken my car here for oil changes several times, and it is in their system that I need synthetic oil and a special oil filter. The receptionist put in for me to get a regular oil change, now, I also had some suspension issues that I wanted to get checked out, so I was trying to remember to ask about it, and didn't notice how quickly my oil change was done. A few days later my service engine soon light came on! I called and instead of the manager apologizing and offering to rectify it at NO COST, he asked me accusatory questions "how long have you had this car?" "How much do you usually pay for an oil change? (Insinuating that I should have paid attention to the cheaper price)" "so bring your car in, and we'll take the oil out, and you pay the difference" NOW BC this is MY only means of transportation And I definitely did not want that bad cheap oil in my car, I obliged. The other cashier, who is usually there, Maria, SHE apologized, and was baffled as to why the other girl, (Tameka, I think was her name) put in the wrong type, when it's noted on there That I need synthetic! She told me that on my "next" visit they will take $10 off! Ha! There will NOT be a next time for me! The managers remedy for this problem was unacceptable, as well his nonchalant attitude about losing a loyal customer.

went to get my tires re-aligned and a oil change. In the afternoon of that same day, smoke starts coming out of my hood. my car was overheating. apparently my radiator was broken, it was fine before i got there. it cost me almost $700 to fix & my wheels still need to be re-aligned. they hope you don't know anything about your car so they can over charge you or have you come back in for a new problems they caused. i will never go there again.

Took my car to get fixed, they supposedly replaced the starter and alternator, because they were both stopping my car from starting, When I went to pick it up my car still didn't start, they said oh well its probably the ignition switch and we don't have the capability to fix those. Which means I paid them 500$ to get something replaced that didn't need to be replaced. They were also supposed to fix a battery cable which I could see after being charged for it that it had not been replaced. Fast forward to yesterday when I took it to a different shop they confirmed that the alternator and starter are the ones that came on my car and that these guys took my money.

I visited this location 3 weeks ago. I was told the car needed brakes,calibers,and rotors in the front. All this cost $580! Two days after the work was done the car started making an roaring noise as if the rotor was never replaced. The car then start making a very loud sound coming from the passenger front wheel and I had someone come take a look at the vehicle because I was afraid to drive it and everything that this facility replaced was literally hanging underneath the car. They apparently did not tighten the bolts and could have caused me to have an accident due to their negligence.Service: Steering & suspension repair
