Answered positively, worked with me to fix my alternator. Took week and half wait but better then 2-3 weeks quoted from other mechanics. Fair prices and even suggest tune up soon (which my car needs). But great customer service, faster then I thought. Will respond to text messages too which is amazing!

My husband and I, David and Kathy Smits, just wanted to say Jim of On-Site Mechanics did an awesome job with our vehicle. It had been misdiagnosed by the staff of another shop. They thought the mass air flow sensor, the vapor canister and purge valve needed replaced. In the meantime our car was running worse and worse. They quoted $1,400 for the job. We wanted a second opinion because the parts and labor were so expensive. A friend recommended Jim. He took the time to get down to the root of the problem. He was patient and efficient. The convenience of him coming to our place to do the work was great too. He first took care of the plugs and wires. He showed me the condition of the plugs. He then ruled out everything it wasn't. He decided it was the fuel injector. Now that he replaced the fuel injector our car runs as good as it did when we got it used! It is a 2004 Toyota Highlander with 284,887 miles on it. He saved us lots of money and charged a fair price. We highly recommend him and will always go to him from now on anytime we need work done on the car. He explained everything to us and is very honest. He truly cares about his customers and wants to help them get their cars running as they should! We're very grateful to have had Jim of On-Site Mechanics recommended to us! Had we not met Jim we would have spent a lot of money and the car still wouldn't have been fixed. My truck was leaking oil and transmission fluid I had on-site mechanic some out to my house, and I could not find my keys to start the truck. I had to cancel. He offered to start the work, but I was worried about having it all torn up and him not returning. He understood and was cheerful. My general experience is people in the trades are not reliable, so I never get work half done. Not so with on-site mechanic. Still, we made an appointment, he is very busy. He came out and he and a coworker fixed all the problems on my truck, changed the oil and transmission fluid and they showed me the removed parts, cleaned up after themselves and apologized for a small amount of oil leaked onto the driveway. He showed me the clear costs for parts and for labor and he even reduced the price a little because I provided the oil and filter. My battery had a weird size screw and they couldn't get it to fit. They agreed to come back later, so I left the hood open and after they fixed it, he texted me that he had stopped by. We hadn't even included the price of the batter and I didn't get charged. This guy has an excellent attitude and customer service. The dealerships should have him give a seminar on how to provide good customer service. It's extremly rare that I'm satisfied with tradesman, I been ripped off so many times. Not only was I satisfied, I am beyond satisfied. He is a great alternative to dealer service, highly recommended.

Called to have a battery swapped out. It was a complicated job and I didn t have any tools with me. Service was friendly, fast, professional and SUPER affordable! Hope I won t need the services again- but won t hesitate to call if I do!Service: BatteryService: Battery

Jim is professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and very kind. His fees are fair and worth paying for the work that he does. He came to our driveway in the extreme heat and replaced the brake lines in our 2006 Dodge Dakota. He is very thorough and knows what he is doing. We are Thankful for Jim and his On-Site Mechanics business. We will definitely give him a call again if we need help. I recommend On-site Mechanics for anyone who has vehicle that can't move or if you are in need of a reliable mechanic.

I had a situation Friday evening.. My upper radiator hose broke and I also needed the thermostat housing replaced. Unfortunately this is the only vehicle I have and the dealership that I usually take it to said it would be Monday or Tuesday before they could get to it. I would also had to have paid to have it towed to the dealership.Friday afternoon I did stop at an auto shop in Marion. Had never been there before and probably won t be going back. They quoted me way more just for the housing thermostat. A friend of mine asked me Friday night if I had thought of going to one of the auto parts store here in town to see if they had the parts and what they would cost. I called to an auto parts store here in Marion Saturday morning. They had the part. But of course they don t install. I asked them if they knew if someone that did. They gave me jim@ on site mechanics #. I called him and he was able to replace both parts Saturday afternoon and charged me way less than the other auto place wanted just for the housing thermostat. You were a God send Jim. I will refer you to everyone I know. Thank you!!!

I contacted Jim to replace bad u-joints on my 2007 Tacoma. He exemplifies professionalism not only in his work but how he manages business. Straight forward and to the point, without any attempt to sell or up-charge on something unnecessary as you would find with other repair facilities. Jim is very knowledgeable, honest, and fair. My son bought a lemon of a car and Jim has worked very hard at diagnosing the issue as the starter and computer module. As the daughter of a mechanic and wife of a diesel mechanic, I know a good mechanic when I see one and he knows what he is doing. We will use him in the future, and he comes to you! This guy is amazing! Jim came out quickly, and within minutes knew we needed to replace our starter. We had only talked about diagnosing the problem, but when we asked how soon we could arrange for him to do the work, he had the part and was ready that moment! He was extremely reasonable, and professional. He also had some great conversation topics and has some awesome hobbies! On Site Mechanic is like no other so brace yourself before I get into this. It's a long one but 100% true. I've dealt with just about every mechanic shop in Marion and none of the ones I dealt with can compare to On Site Mechanic. When I say that I mean it in everyway. He's prices is very reasonable. His fair, honest, respect and knowledge of the automotive field. On Site Mechanic goes above and beyond to satisfy his costumers. It's so hard to find real trustworthy, not out to get your money mechanic shops these days. On Site Mechanic is one of those mechanics thats everything you could ask for in a mechanic. I found On-Site Mechanics while searching my local area for a mechanic. After calling around to several mechanics and getting quotes, On-Site had the best price at hundreds of dollars less than the competitors. I had a starter replaced in a 2007 Toyota Tundra. It was a difficult repair. The mechanic was friendly, professional and took the time to explain everything to me throughout the process. I saved another hundred not having to tow my truck because he came to my location. Other mechanics would charge more when a repair takes longer than expected, but On-Site Mechanics kept the price the same even though the repair took longer than expected. The truck had been sitting for awhile so he even stuck around for awhile after the repair to make sure the vehicle was running good. I can not say enough great things about On-Site and the service I received. On-Site Mechanics is the only mechanic I will call from here on out. I highly recommend!

Called this company to fix my car. I was lucky and was able to get an appointment first thing in the morning the next day. It took a few hours to get fixed but we were able to make our trip in time. It was really convenient that they came out to my house because it saved me money by not having to get the car towed in town to a shop. Pricing was fair.
