This dealership exceeded my expectations. At the age of 62 I have purchased several cars, and this was the best experience I've ever had while buying a new car. The staff at Marion Subaru is a pleasure to do business with.Our salesman was Nicholas Shen and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Helpful, pleasant, and easy going is how I would describe him. I can also say the same for Grant Thurmond the finance manager. Never once did anyone pressure us or hurry us along in the process.In the end we got a great car at a great price, with great financing! I would highly recommend Marion Subaru to anyone in the market for a new or used car.Thanks Nicholas and Grant! Fantastic dealership with a friendly team ready to help get you in a new vehicle. Kent Howerton was my sales associate. He was patient and answered all my questions. He worked in getting me into my new vehicle. Also, had the pleasure of working with Grant Thurmond. He was a super nice gentleman whom through our love for large breed dogs could have chatted all afternoon. This dealership is so laid back. They aren't all in your face trying to make a sale. They let you explore the lot and test drive to find the perfect vehicle. Thanks again, Marion Subaru!

The service department really came through for us! We were only in town for the holidays when we had an issue with our brand new Subaru. Although they were really super busy, they managed to fix our issue and we were able to get back to North Carolina. We are very grateful for their service!

My husband & I wanted to get a Subaru for our next car purchase. I personally wanted to buy the car at Marion Subaru since I use to live in Marion & we travel there often. The salesman showed us what was available without any pressure whatsoever to purchase a car! We did find exactly what we wanted & purchased a 2023 Subaru Forester. We are very pleased with our purchase & have no regrets! We would highly recommend Marion Subaru!

I have to say this was the best car purchase experience I ve ever had, and I ve had a few. My salesman Nicholas Shen was awesome and don t think I would have gotten this car had it not been for his continued updates he gave me. He was so great to work with. Grant the finance officer was also wonderful and made the sealing the deal easy and pain free.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Mike Barrios helped me choose between a Forester & an Outback by comparing the differences. My needs leaned more toward the Outback. I waited 2 months for it to come in & paid full sticker price.I couldn t even get a set of upgraded floor mats. It may have been a tough time to by a vehicle, but Mike made everything easy and fast.From financing to writing the vehicle up for plates & registration, it all was amazingly fast. I went from Southeast Missouri to Marion, Illinois to the Marion Subaru dealership to purchase my 2023 Subaru Forrester. They were very knowledgeable and very helpful in getting me what I wanted. I ve been to 5 Subaru dealerships since getting my Outback due to traveling the country for my job. I ve always had a great experience at Marion s location. I enjoy the two service advisors, Ian & Brittany. I find them to be professional, kind and prompt. I trust my vehicle with the service techs and know they re taking good care of my Outback. This is an easy dealership to work with. I ve had warranty work, new tires installed and one maintenance appointment. I ve left satisfied every time.

We were looking to get a new car and join the Subaru family but of course it was impossible to find a car on the lot. After talking to lots of dealerships who were being sleazy, we finally talked to Alex at Marion Subaru. We live 8 hours away but his quick responses, polite attitude, and genuine care for our needs reeled us in. No excessive fees or bad sales tactics. He worked hard to find what we wanted and kept us updated. I ve never had such an incredible experience buying a car! Together with Grant in Finance, they had us in and out of the dealership quickly. The icing on the cake was that Alex took the time to walk me through all the features of my new car so I was comfortable. It saved me from a wreck the next morning when heavy fog and unfamiliar roads forced me to react quickly. 10/10 recommend them!

Walked into Marion Subaru, not expecting to trade my car in. I was interested in the Crosstrek, but ended up test driving and ultimately purchasing a 2023 Subaru Outback. M. Barrios was the salesman that I worked with, and he made the experience very enjoyable. I take car salesmen with a grain of salt, because most are solely out to make money. Mr. Barrios, on the other hand was very friendly and knowledgeable. I could tell that he legitimately enjoyed these vehicles. In fact, all of the Marion Subaru staff was informative and helpful, most of which have Subarus of their own. I could not be more satisfied with my experience. The Outback, with its premium features sold itself. Time will tell if the 2.5L Boxer and CVT transmission end up to be reliable, but I am confident that this was a good purchase. I just and washed and waxed it, and am ready for winter! 10/10.

We have owned 4 Subarus, with the last 2 purchased from Marion Subaru, and have had an excellent experience both times. Cars were as ordered, on time and no extra fees or hidden costs. Sales personnel are knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely buy here again if we purchase another Subaru!

Very stand offish towards me when i was asking about a pre-order. Eventually canceling the order and purchased another car from a different dealer who was more receptive. Lost my deposit, but oh well.Awesome customer service... NOT

Great dealership overall! My spouse went to test drive a Crosstrek but ended up buying an Impreza RS instead. I have decided then to put a deposit in a base Impreza that was in transit. When the car got to the dealership though I changed my mind and Alex gave me my deposit back. I didn't even have to ask! He's so chill, no pressure salesman and wanted me to be happy with my purchase. My spouse still loves his car and I ended up getting something else that met my needs better. I was impressed with how honest and kind the whole staff was. It feels like a "family" business where they actually care about their customers. Highly recommend it!

I had a great experience with Marion Subaru! Each time I walked into the dealership I was greeted by kindness. This was the first time I bought a car without my dad present. It was obviously intimidating. I immediately felt comfortable with Kent Howerton, one of the sales reps. He explained each step to me and was patient when I had questions. They also gave me a fair price. No sleazy sales tactics here!Grant, the financial services manager, was also nice to work with. He walked me through each step of the process and answered all of my questions.

Post sell, from June, still had not gotten the title to my car. Called all day two weeks ago, nobody would return .my phone call but did get hold of someone today. Was told that they did not have the title in hand when they sold me the car which was an issue. When I called the person in charge of titles today, they where very rude. Do not recommend.

We wish we had contacted Marion Subaru prior to searching weeks for an Outback.Michael Barrios and Grant Thurmond were great to work with.Michael found the Outback we wanted with no trouble to us.They were helpful with every subject and issue we asked. And they didn't try to rush us out the door once they got paid.Michael spent all the time we needed in getting us acquainted with the car and Grant even spent time telling us about local attractions and restaurants. They spent close to an hour with us even after they got our check.I have represented several car dealerships in my last 42 years of law practice. I can honestly say that you will be hard pressed to find one more pleasurable to work with than Marion.If the service is as great as the sales, then we will gladly drive the 2 1/2 hours from home just to deal with these folks.If you are looking for a Subaru, save yourself some time and check with Marion first.So far, we could not have asked for a better experience.We're looking forward to going back.

I am very disappointed with the service I received at this location. I was charged almost $230 for an oil change and filters to be changed in my car. When the service technician came out to ask if I wanted anything done, I said I want to get out of here fast. So, no I ll talk to my dad. Yet, I still got it done, not sure if they misinterpreted what I said about fast, and thought I wanted my filters changed since it would be fast? I didn t know that I could refuse to pay if I got a service I didn t ask for done to my car (so if you didn t know, now you do) I have always gotten free oil changes done to my car at my normal Subaru dealership and then they told me pay here and then go back to your normal dealership and maybe they ll give you your money back. I called and they said it should ve been in their system for me to get my free changes(and I won t get my money back) I feel like I was conned here. Not to mention, at my typical Subaru services they always remove the reminder of getting my oil changed, I have never been told I needed to do it myself, and here I was told we don t do that, you need to figure it out yourself. I would never recommend coming to this dealership to get service done EVER!

This was my first time purchasing a car with a dealership and they were LOVELY! Nick & Grant were wonderful. Grant talks to you like family or a close friend. No hassle, great customer service. Quick paced which I loved. Very pleased with my experience. And you can t beat the deals there! The best I ve found.

I had to get my 90k mil inspection and they did a great job! Took about an hour and they were able to inspect the whole car and change the oil and brake fluid. There were no high pressure sales and they told me what they recommended and allowed me to make my decision. Very friendly people and great place overall.Update: I have since purchased a 2017 Legacy and 2021 WRX from these great folks. Always greeted by smiling people and taken care of by the sales and service people. If you need a vehicle I highly recommend them, Nick Smith is the best, always helping and checking in every now and then making sure things are going well.

Don't buy a used car from them... Bought a 2013 Subaru Outback there less than 2 months ago from Nick. A $14,000 car I paid cash for and now it needs about $14,000 in work and they tell me it's not their problem. They said it was 1 owner car and they had always done the maintenance on the car. So I trusted it would be a great car despite having 120k miles. I had the car a week and check engine light comes on. Mechanic says it needs catalytic converter. $3,000 for this car. Called Marion Subaru, sorry we can't help you. A couple weeks later, the car gets hot driving it. Busted radiator $600. Btw mechanic says you are low on oil, but I checked it 2 weeks, your car has a service bulletin about using oil, that was never done at the dealership.. You need a new short block. Going to run around $8000. After finally getting to talk to Luke Dallas the Sales manager who ducked my calls for a week... Marion Subaru says not our problem. Call Subaru of America. Not their problem either. Shady shady shady. Buy the car back or fix it!

I recently bought a used GMC seirra from them back in January. They had gave me a paper on warranty. My A/C stopped working not even 2 weeks after I bought the truck. I called about the warranty and I was told I was SOS because of it being a common thing with GMC. Don t get me wrong I understood going into I was buying a used vehicle and there was going to be a little nooks and imperfections when I bought the truck,but considering I didn t even own the truck for 30 days before the a/c went out costing me 1200$ out of my pocket to fix,I was pretty upset they didn t do anything considering they gave me a paper stating anything machanically they would cover. Customer service was nice but how they did me on this situation I can promise I will not do anymore business with them

Can t say enough wonderful things about our experience. We drove from St. Louis to purchase a car because of the ease and transparency of dealing with Marion. I loved the aggressive low pricing of the Forester from the beginning, and the very fair trade in value for our Jeep. I truly enjoyed buying a car here, no negotiating needed!!!Mike was fabulous with correspondence the week leading up to our drive to meet in person and purchase the car. Nick was also helpful that day, as well as Grant.A huge thank you to the entire Marion team, you guys are great!I will definitely travel 2+ hours to do business with them again in the future!
