They did a great job and l ll definitely go back for more future work. Axle caught fire. And they came out quick to get me off the road helped save me a tow bill. And also did great work and was very well priced not to mention they got me back rolling the very next day when I tell you from a owner operator perspective they are life savers .

In the area, so we brought our F350 into Don's for routine maintenance. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Scheduling was easy. Be sure to meet Don's mascot, Summer!

I can't say good enough things about this place! My truck's U Joint fell on the road right not far from Don's shop on the higway. Called Don in the morning he recomended me a tow truck very affordable. Found parts for me and by 4pm Truck was fixed at a VERY affordable rate! Can't stress enough how good and profesional these people are!

Awesome service from Don and his team of mechanics. They got me up and going from a major breakdown in under 24hrs even let me use his pickup while I was down. Price is very competitive and you will be treated like family. These guys know how to turn wrenches and get you back on the road.

So disappointing.First said come I am here.We went there for 15 min.He wasn't there.He said for 30 min.will be back.It was leaking hose,didn't allow to his guys to work,he wanted to quote it.We asked for price,he didn't say nothing.He came after 1hour and 30 minutes.Again didn't say nothing gor the pricing.He went "apparently "to search hose from trucks.Doesnt update us.We left,because he was acting very suspicious.Never again to go there.

I have the privilege of driving the Rabine for Governor tour bus/rv throughout the state of Illinois. On a southern tour of the state, near Marion, IL, a leak developed in one of the rear tires of the bus. We were fortunate to find Don s Heavy Duty Truck Repair. Don, his sons, and the staff were friendly and professional. They had our large tire repaired quickly and we were safely back on the road.Thank you for all your help!

Thank you Don!!! My truck broke down he let me stay in his lot overnight and come in the morning diagnosed my problem keep me going and didn t charge anything it is honest mechanics out there not gonna screw you up , he is one of them , I highly recommend it DON S HEAVY DUTY TRUCK REPAIR!!!! These guys are the best shop with a roadside service. I called and spoke with the owner Don and he sent Joe rt out. Joe got to me and was very professional and and very fare. Fixed the problem and saved us some money which is unheard of. I went 10 miles down the road and had a blowout. Called Don again and he himself came out with another young man and replaced the tire. Saved us some money again and was very professional. I will always use this shop whenever I'm in the area.

Don and his team were very friendly and helpful. The gave my driver a ride to a hotel after his breakdown. Most importantly, their labor costs are fair, and they saved me at least a grand by fixing my fuel pump so I didn t have to purchase a replacement! Good guys. Highly recommended!

This shop does quality work and are fair and honest! Take my personal truck in for maintenance and they work with me to get it scheduled and done in a timely manner! Will bring my truck in every time I'm in this area.

Don was great. I had a blown tire on the interstate. It was after 5:00pm. Don was there to the rescue! Fast friendly service. I would highly recommend!!

Mr. Don and his crew are the BEST!!! We were broke down on the interstate in IL and found his repair shop on Google. He came to us in less than 30 mins got us to his shop and took us to a hotel and picked us back up. Had our truck fixed the next day. Treated us just like family. We were in a major pinch after we lost our brakes in our company truck. I called Don's Diesel repair and he recommended a tow company (we were also pleased with their service as well) and said he would get to our truck at the end of the day. He held true to his word and fixed our truck that evening! We picked up the truck the next morning and continued where we left off the day before. The price was very reasonable, communication was great, and we really appreciate that he got us worked in so fast!

We were broke down 300 miles from home with two horses. Don's came out and fixed our problem and we were on our way. We'd already had one mechanic "fix" the problem. We had a split fuel line and diesel fuel was spewing from our truck. We made it back home with no issues. He was prompt, courteous and reasonably priced. I am a man in a wheelchair. Myself and my family were traveling back from Florida to Wisconsin. The CV axle went out on my wheelchair Accessible minivan on a Saturday morning in Marion Illinois I called Don he was there within five minutes he found us the best possible price on the part and had it replaced in Road ready in two hours. He was very polite and extremely knowledgeable, affordable and very prompt in the repair. IfDon wasn t there I would have probably had to spend days in the city at a hotel before someone could ve fixed the van. Since I use a power chair I cannot just use any van to get home! Thank you very much highly recommended.

From the time my husband and I arrived to the time we left we were treated like family. Brad and the guys at the shop couldn t be more friendly, selfless, or hospitable. When the parts were delivered they were prompt and professional with the repairs, and their knowledge about heavy duty trucks is beyond measure. We will go out of our way to bring these guys any future repairs or services needed. We would highly recommend using these guys for any heavy duty truck repairs.

We called Don when we were broken down on our way through. He stopped his current project to help me and my family as soon as possible. we weren't able to get our parts till the next morning, so he gave us a ride to a local hotel. fixed our car by the next day and had us back on the road. Dons wife turned on cartoons in the office for the kids, gave them juice and a snack. Reasonable prices, excellent customer service. Very nice people, would definitely recommend to anyone.

I got pulled around back of the southbound scale in Marion Illinois and had to get two tires replaced.I called dons and he said they would be here in 30 minutes or less. He arrived about 20 minutes later and within 30 minutes of him arriving he was done with both tires.He was very professional and very efficient I would recommend this company to anyone.Service: Tires

I don't post detailed reviews very often, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the service I recieve at Don's Heavy Duty Truck Repair & l thought others needed to know!! I could NOT imagine going anywhere else! Both the speed of service & the quality of the repairs are always PHENOMENAL!! Not to mention, Don ALWAYS put his customers first, with his TOP-NOTCH customer service!! I would give him 10+ stars if I could! Next time you are looking for a truck reapair shop, Give Don a chance! I promise YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!

They squeezed me in for brakes on my trailer and steer axle on a Saturday afternoon. Fixed two oil seals too. Its a small family operation. Good people. They did do something to make my ABS light come on, but they've promised to fix it if I can get back through. Will change to five stars when I get my ABS issue resolved. Otherwise, would highly recommend.

I m giving you five stars before I arrive tomorrow! From reading the prior reviews I know my company will be in good hands. BTW do you offer any military discounts on labor and parts? Can I bring my own parts?I just had to add to review from yesterday - I ve also added a few photos. Now let s ask an honest question truckers. How many mechanics will actually show you the old filters? How many mechanics will at least give you a diagnostic analysis the same day and allow you to take a pic of the code? How many mechanics will actually treat you with respect no matter your complexion! Just Saying! Give them a shot and they will hit the bullseye. I ve been to shops all across this country and never have I experienced customer service like this. I can't thank Don's Heavy Duty Truck Repair enough. The UHaul service vehicle was delivering my shipping containers in a trailer, and we had difficulty detaching the truck from the trailer. Don came and fixed the situation in a matter of minutes. The service was friendly and efficient. I would give 10 stars if I could.
