We were sent to Karsten s from Love s in Hampshire with an oil leak as we were starting our spring break vacation. They got us in, diagnosed, fixed up and back on the road! Their customer service was amazing. Zach took care of us and the front desk representative was fantastic too! Karstens saved our vacation! Thank you!

Karstens is the best! They have the best service around! Jeff, Zak, Tim, Penny and crew are always there to help. During and after hours you can get a tow! Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Went in for an emergency repair. Was really in a bad spot. Was greeted by Jeff and was taken care of immediately. Got me back on the road within a couple hours. So very grateful for the great service

My last visit with Karsten's was wonderful. Zakk picked my car up on his way into work do do the service call and brought it back a couple of hours later. This option kept me from having to leave work or schedule on a Saturday. Karsten's is amazing and I highly recommend.

We had a skid loader tire go flat on a Friday evening. Dropped it off Friday, had it back first thing Saturday morning with a new tube installed. We really appreciate the fast & friendly service, at a reasonable price.

An absolute waste of time and money. They charge an arm and leg to misdiagnose your vehicle. After arguing with them about what I knew was wrong with my car, I went to pick it up and bring it somewhere else. Once retrieving my car and driving away I noticed the sounds my car was making was much worse than when I had brought it in. I found a wire stuck inside my tire. Immediately after I brought my vehicle to another shop where they addressed my new tire problem and original concern with a reasonable price and a higher standard of customer service. It s worth making a drive to a shop where they have a more professional business practice and a better education. Steer clear of this shop.Edited after owner response: Maybe if they spent a little more time checking the vehicles in their shop and less time responding, in way more detail than necessary, to their reviews they wouldn t have an many issues. My lightbulb was fine, and it was an issue with the wires, after they told me it was not. But none the less they will continue to tell me I m wrong. Arguing over a review is only showing yet another example of the poor customer service they provide, and only furthers my point to potential future customers. Thank you for your time but I have found a new mechanic whom values their customers, has better pricing and listens to their customers concerns without telling them they are incorrect. Thank you for responding to my review but I will be moving forward with another company from here on out.

My check engine light came on and I called Jeff and he said come after work for diagnostic test. Well I asked if he could do a oil change to and said yes. Thank you for fixing my car, thank God it wasn't the transmission, easy fix. Thank you for always helping me when needed, you GuYS ROCK!

I am updating my review from 6 years ago, which simply said "Honest." I would like to add, that we are so spoiled to have a car repair business in town we can truly rely upon. Especially some of us women who don't know or really care about how cars work or why they don't work, the Karsten's team will explain without talking down to us. Came cause tires were very low on air. Bought tires from the early. Asked if they could fill them. They where so nice and thought might be a problem cause weird all 4 needed air. Told me to watch for it to happen again. Really liked ever time I've been there. Recommend them.

Worst mechanic in the area over priced scam artists is all they are had a slight grind on the left front brakes when driving brought it in to get checked they tell us the brake pads need to get changed. They change them and sneak the rotors in on top of it mind you the rotors weren't wore down it's a newer car then they try to tell us the back brakes need to be done that they only have 5% life left but after the first interaction I decided to take the car home and do the rear breaks my self and to my surprise the pads were not even half way worn down. So in conclusion they tac on as many things as they can even if you don't need it done just to sap you for as much cash as they can wish I could give 0 starsService: Brakes

I have used Karstens for both of my vehicles the past year. They have always been great. Yesterday, they outdid themselves. My SUV needed to be towed and they were on the spot in less than 30 minutes. They fixed my problem, stood behind their work and got me in and out the same afternoon. Thats what they do for their customers and why they will always have my business. I truly appreciate their service!

Karsten s takes the time to fully explain any problem and then creates a custom plan on how to get it fixed/what needs to be done. Most auto shops present the option that s the most expensive and just moves forward with it. Not here, they really take the time to make sure you understand all options that are available to you and what s important. They really treat you like family.Great, reliable, and efficient service done by friendly and extremely knowledgeable professionals. I don t trust anyone else to work on my cars.

My family has been going to Karsten s since they have opened. I would not go to anyone else for my car needs. Today I was in a bind and needed an oil change, but I couldn t leave my house. So they arranged to pick up my car and take it to the shop and bring it back home. This is a great service that no one really knows about if you live locally. I highly recommend using that and Karsten s for any car services.Service: Oil change

Karsten's has come to my rescue on more than one occasion!The staff have always been friendly, prices are very fair, and service is quick.Their location has a nice little waiting area, spotless bathroom, and on my latest visit - everyone was wearing masks and handsanitizer was available.

I have been bringing my cars here for over 5 years now, usually only for oil changes. Also have had them install a set of wheels/tires. Never had any past complaints, but recently decided to have them check out my brakes on my GMC Envoy as thought there may have been a problem and they said they would diagnose for $25. They did the inspection and advised that both front caliper pins were stuck. I was happy with this as it saved me the time of checking them myself, so I ordered calipers and then proceeded to do the brake job myself shortly after. It turns out, after buying new calipers and starting the brake job, that there were no stuck pins on either side. Pretty unhappy with this as it seems they didn't really check anything and just went ahead with what I advised I thought was the problem. So, not only did I waste $25 on this brake check, also replaced calipers that seemed to have no issue.Services: Brake service & repair, Oil change
