In May, I brought them my 05 Gto I bought that had been previously ls3 swapped and not finished. They helped sort out some electrical issues. We ran out of fuel pump. Pump filter was completely clogged and I placed a dw300c pump in. A week ago, I brought it back and had a couple misfires diagnosed. Tuning was completed and this thing is wild now. My buddies said they are could tell a complete difference in how smooth it is and the power it s putting down. Thank you and I will be back for more.

Scram Speed is a complete hot rod shop, offering parts, installs, a stocked showroom, fabrication, and dyno tuning. I have bought countless parts and have done several dyno sessions over the years. I upgraded my fuel system last season and they made new lines using Fragola PTFE hose and crimp fittings, a really nice touch.

Kyle and Steve at scram speed are top notch. They re conveniently located with a large show room of in stock performance parts, and huge selection of fragola fittings and hoses of all types and sizes has saved me time and money on countless occasions. They are the whole package with something for everybody from the do it yourselfer to somebody who wants to drop off their prized possession and know it s in the hands of professionals with a high attention to detail. I can t say enough good things about Scram Speed and its staff. Scram Speed is my first choice every time when it comes to my racecar/performance needs.

Talked with Steve about fuel log for a Demon. After assessing my needs, (they had all the parts), Steve proceeded to fill me in on a few of the Demon idiosyncrasies. Got home, followed his instructions, fired up instantly! Thanks so much for your help Steve

Went there for a tune, over 5k spent and it left on a trailer, I heard the most ridiculous explanation for the issues that they couldn't figure out. Honestly surprised there still in business. Took it to another shop which had the problem figured out in 30 minutes.

Took my '96 Z28 in to get the brand new 383 I just put in tuned and they tell me I got a bad fuel injector and sold me a set of used fuel injectors that were way to big. My car ran about a thousand miles until the fuel injectors finally flooded it out and now I'm having them replaced by a real mechanic with the right pound injectors and hopefully it doesn't ruin my $10,000 engine! I wouldn't let these guys work on your mini bike let alone any kind of high performance vehicle Go to Bloomington there's a place there that's better and cheaper

My 2005 GMC Sierra was experiencing the dreaded 5.3 Vortec V8 "Ticking" noise likely due to one or more failed lifters. Instead of having m local dealer correct the issue, I reached out to Steve and the team at Scram Speed. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue and provided me with a comprehensive overview of what it would take to fix the problem. They also asked if I would like to do some upgrades to the engine knowing that the engine was going be be basically tore down while working on the primary issue. They installed a stage 2 camshaft and re-tuned the vehicle while they fixed the primary ticking issue. The truck now runs better than ever and has more power vs. stock. These guys are true "gearheads" and you can tell that they are passionate about what they do. It's hard to find businesses with this much integrity nowadays. I would highly recommend them for diagnosing and correcting vehicle issues as well as recommending and installing any performance upgrades.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

This review is about 4 months in the making. And why the delay? Because I was just recently able to take my car out and test the upgraded horse power and torque provided by Scram Speed and their expert tuner James Pruitt. Scram Speed took a 4.6 liter Mustang that was barely making over 300hp and had underwhelming torque that was unable to break loose the rear wheels under any circumstance and was able to create a 525hp motor that now has 480lbs of torque. The shear increase in horsepower was such an improvement that the first time it went out for " a little test run " by a family member , it blew the clutch completely out. And I'm not talking about an average blow out. When the clutch was removed, it was as clean as a whistle. There wasn't' a fiber on that clutch plate. And so... after getting Scram to replace the clutch with an upgraded twin disc clutch that can hold up to 800hp and allowing time and distance to get the new clutch broke in, I took Scarlet out for a little fun. She now breaks loose with little effort and went from a car that I liked to drive to a car that I LOVE to drive. I have been complemented so many times by people who hear how she runs and they are all impressed with how much horse power and torque she now has. All I can tell them when they ask about my car is that I owe the sound and performance all to Scram Speed and to the ingenious tuning of James Pruitt. I will NEVER take my car ( or any future car ) to anyone but Scram Speed and James for ANY motor / performance upgrade.

Scram has an unprecedented inventory of Fragola fittings. I also purchased a Quick Fuel carburetor from them. Steve kindly took time to provide tips on how to install it and avoid commons mistakes. Ultimately, I knew I didn't have my engine running at its full potential so I had him tune it. It drives like a completely different truck with significantly more power and way better throttle response. He took the time to explain details he observed and things I could tinker with to continue to adjust it to my preference. Extremely helpful and very fairly priced! I would highly recommend!

Only purchased their ls swap oil pan for foxbody .... fitment was perfect w/o any issues .... set to order power steering hose w/ reducer <s> soon....update 11/29/22 : ls truck fox rack fit perfectly ! good quality & price- very pleased

Great timely service. Very knowledgeable and communicated all information and services. Performance tune for my lifted truck on 35 s is spot on! Love the results, and they take the time to explain their process. I highly recommend Scram Speed if you need work on a performance vehicle.

Steve and James went above and beyond for a standard tune on my 2004 Tahoe. Not only got a great tune but a little extra for the original quoted price. These guys were super busy at the time, but took the time to treat my vehicle just as they would a much larger build and for the price quoted. Thank you so much guy s for helping me out!

Great selection of a lot of the little things that can hang up an engine swap. Definitely nice having a place close to be able to get what you'll need without having to order online and wait. The chain stores usually have something to get it done but scram has had exactly what I was looking for. The staff are very knowledgeable with all of the products they deal with and have always answered any questions I've had.

I took my car to Scram Speed because I had another shop just destroy it. It's crazy the difference in what one shop comes themselves an amazing an what another shop calls themselves amazing!! The work is the proof who is the real shop. It was horrible the reason I had to have Steve and his crew redo my car but I guess what to take out of this is sign when to just run from a shop because they have no idea what they are doing and have a real shop work on your car. Again Steve thank you and your crew so much for the work you perform on bring my car back to life because the other shop I took it to just destroy it and wanted to move on. What a shame!!! I would highly recommend Scram Speed on anything car work related!!

These guys are racers that use the parts they sell and know there stuff. If you need info and help with your project they can make it happen! Steve did everything I asked and more without pressuring me but pointing me in the right direction.
