Have been doing business here for some time and always satisfied with the work done. Easy to see that the good reviews out number the negative ones. All good businesses will have a few bad comments the same as we all have a bad day from time to time. Thank you Mark for your honest work. Harder and harder to find tat these days.

So, we live 3 hours away from Macomb IL and our daughter goes to WIU. On her way back to school after winter break, she developed car issues. As it was sub zero temperatures and she was already 2 hours away, we met her in the Quad Cities. I drove the car to Macomb and based solely on favorable Facebook reviews on a WIU page, we dropped the car off after hours at Dad's Place Automotive Repair in Macomb. By 9 am, he called and already had looked at the car and found that it was likely moisture in the fuel system that caused the issue. They went over the entire car and found it to be fine, he added some fuel treatment and they did not charge but for the cost of the treatment. Mark's honesty and integrity shone through and we are very relieved to have an honest mechanic available to our daughter all of those miles from home. The reviews speak truth and this is a good shop. Thanks, Dad!!!

I can't tell you how many times dads has come to my rescue and helped me with my car. I highly recommend dads to anyone having car troubles! His customer service is amazing and they are always helpful!!!!

My car broke down close by on a Sunday evening and so I pulled into lot- I called dad and even though it was a weekend evening he took time to talk to me and helped me figure out what to do. Did a great job on diagnostics- didn t charge anything for it either.Highly recommend Dad s Garage!

Long overdue review... Traveling through the area I accidentally filled the fuel tank on my diesel truck with gasoline. Fortunately I realized it before I started it so no damage to the engine. I called a number of shops in town and none we able to get me in except for Dad s. Mark was sympathetic to my situation and got me in right away. He made arrangements to get the truck to him and into his shop without starting it. He had me back on the road as quickly as he could given he had to get parts in. I fully expected to be charged for expedited service and even to be gouged a bit given he knew he d never see me again. Not the case. Very fair price and excellent service!

Most caring and helpful people you'll meet. Very knowledgeable on everything they do and very people friendly. Will definitely will be going back to this caring shop.

When nearly every other shop I called in town was booked out for weeks, Dad's made room in their schedule and had me in, out and fixed on the same day for an AC repair. Their rate was reasonable and like a good dentist, they explained each stage of what they were going to do on my vehicle before they did it. Now I have ice-cold AC for these hot, humid days. Highly recommended!

We will definitely be back to Dad s!! They are so SO kind and patient. As first time car owners, we had a lot of questions that they were more than happy to answer for us. They fixed our car so quickly, and for a good price. If you re looking for a good local mechanic to support, look no further than this home grown family business! Cannot sing their praises enough!

I had taken my car to 4 different car shops and everyone kept telling me nothing was wrong with my car. I knew that wasn t the case because I had to get my car jumpstarted every single day for a week and a half, sometimes twice a day. Some people said it was my battery, so I bought a new one and the problem kept happening. I took it to Dad s Place and even though nothing seemed to be wrong, they kept it over night to run tests and try everything possible instead of just sending me home with it, and low and behold they found the problem and fixed it! Great service and great people! Would recommend 10/10 times!

I was from Chicago visiting my son at WIU. The front heat shield of my car fell down and was dragging on the ground. I spoke to Corey and he came over and used zip ties to fix the issue. He said it would hold until I got home. He was very gracious, repaired the car in the rain and would not accept any payment!Kudos to this garage

Took my car in once I heard the brake pad indicators. They took a look told me I still had 15% of my braking pad and that I had enough to make it back home if I didn't want to get them replaced yet. Very Friendly people too, Happy I chose to take it to Dad's Place!

DONT GO HERE! they re over priced and will break your car on purpose so you can spend more money with them. They re bogus people like their services.

Took an 01 silverado in that died going down the road. Mark helped me diagnose the problem and replaced the fuel pump at a very affordable cost. Great place, I highly recommend using Dad's.

Horrible place. Slow, expensive, most importantly, they damage ur car. They cut my car's wire and let my Speed sonsor not communicating. They don't really cut it but damage the wire, and soon it will damage itself. It's not the first time I found such cuts. Before was the O2 sensor with they same type of damage. I knows who repaired my car and this is the only place will do this. I really hate this place.

They went above and beyond for my son. Great service and fair pricing. I would highly recommend them. We live 2hrs away and will not hesitate to use them again.

Dads is amazing!! We can call about any of our vehicles and he gets us in and out and the prices cannot be beat!! We love Mark, Karen , Corey and all of the crew!!

Awsome , genuine , hard working people here. They charged me nearly 30 dollars cheaper then other shops to change my starter. Even drove me back to campus so I can make it to class on time . 5 stars 4/17/17

Unplugged my dash cam and stretched out my neck pillow attached to seat. Spent 1600$ to fix car but still have the same issues
