7 months ago my daughter took her car to this location and they assured her they could change out her head gasket. Three days after getting the car back, so called headed gasket that they said they fixed, failed. She had the car towed back to the location where it has been sitting for 7 months!!! And they keep saying It ll be next week, it ll be 2 more weeks, we didn t order the part, we have a new district manager, wait the old DM is back, opps we forgot this part.Called car-x corporate. Just a dead end of garbage. Called Monro who apparently owns most carx locations and tried to get somewhere there, only to be hung up on because I referred to their corporate office as you people . Was informed that she wasn t people and was a person just like me. This company is an absolute joke. We were supposed to get her car back yesterday. Guess what?! We still don t have it. At this point it just seems like a running joke and they could care less.Maybe we ll get the car back before 2024. DoubtfulUpdate: 2 more weeks and no car. Part is now out in Washington State. We ve been told it ll be here any month now.Rolling up on 2024 and after almost 8 months later you still have my daughters car! Bravo!! How we see your corporate office Yet here we are in 2024 and still no magical part for this car which has been promised for months on end.If there is any legal counsel available please contact us. Seriously if you d like to represent us in a case against these imbeciles give us a . This has to be illegal at this point. Especially with no compensation offered or even a rental.You (Car-suX) could have ordered a refurbished engine at this point and been way more cost effective but you don t even want to do that. Let s just keep waiting and letting you look like even bigger idiots.January 19, 2024. Still no magic part. Car still being held hostage. Attempted negotiating tactics with HQ may have results soon .maybe next week they say.January 30 2024. We re currently headed into 9 months now. No compensation, no help, no rental still excuses persist instead of actual action to fix this. Meanwhile paying insurance on a car that we haven t seen since. Bravo Car-X. And zero communication from you. Everything involving this has been on us.

Do not ever go here. 1 star is too many. I paid for an alignment less than a year ago, which now I m told by another mechanic that was never done, as our tires are completely worn and needing replaced from severe misalignment. When I called to talk to Car X about this, they were extremely rude and hung up on me (or so they thought.) I listened to them berate me for minutes after, making fun of everything I said, saying I needed to send my husband in, that I probably hit a curb (when I d told them the tires were both worn equally on the inside), that they dont even know if rear tires can be aligned, and further, what s she gonna do, leave us a review?! Worst of the worst people. I paid for something that clearly wasn t done and then am treated like dirt. I was also told there s no warranty, even though their website says differently. Disgusting human beings and terrible, shady practices. Please do not EVER take your vehicle there.

Called for a service, talked to Don the manager there. He gave me a cost and we agreed on a certain day to take care of my vehicle. After fixing it in few minutes I was ready to pay and the nasty guy there needed triple the amount I was quoted for. I talked to him telling him his boss gave me the total. He didn t agree at all. He talked to his boss and told me he never said so to me. ! Bunch of liars there. Don t waste your time or have them give you a written estimate so this way you don t pay different amount at time of pick up. Better off, go to Moore tires.

Went there to change my brake pads and get an alignment, they ended up damaging one brake hose/line and asked me to pay for it (charged me $194 extra). I refused and Donald turned around and said to his mechanics that he needed a break before he killed someone. I left and went straight to the police station. I feel bullied, cheated, and mistreated. Donald also threatened to hold my car until I pay for their mistake. I left without my car and don t plan on going back, it s not a safe environment for women.

Went there today to get air in my tires. They were 5 minutes late opening supposed to open at 7:30am. A worker couldn t even get in until 7:35! I gave them a few minutes to get the lights on situated and went inside. They treated me kinda cold and asked what I needed I told them I just needed air in my tires. They said well we don t open for 30 minutes! I m like what??? Your website and door clearly say 7:30! Then another guy chimes in and says yeah we don t clock in until another 30mins. Now I m kind of annoyed because why advertise you open at a certain time yet you let me in at that time you say you don t open and your stuff won t be prepped for 30 minutes. Maybe you should open at 8 and have workers show up on time at 7:30 to get all this stuff prepped ! Bottom line take your cars to MOORE TIRES THEY OPEN ON TIME, HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GOT ME BACK IN THE ROAD IN NO TIME!!

I have 2 vehicles that I take to car x for basically everything I took my car there for an oil change they had no record in their system that it was even done, 3weeks later I take the car to Chicago, I just happened to check the oil and it was bone dry!!! So took my car back to car x, they said there was a crack in the oil pan and the drainage plug was damaged I had them put a new plug in it and purchased the oil pan myself . (Since they order their parts from autozone and then mark up the price of the parts). I Took everything to a real mechanic- the oil pan didn t have a scratch on it and the plug they put in was the wrong size so it was still leaking oil through the plug! The employees are dishonest and take advantage of women! I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS AGAIN!!! They don t even deserve 1 star! They would not give me the number of their corporate office- so I m complaining here!

Carx in Macomb did a fantastic job with my truck putting new tires on. They were fast and professional. I don t recommend too many business but I recommend them.

Price is deceptive. Advertise something and final charge amount is different. Appointment time is accurate. Employees are friendly. I love to see them keep serving us with integrity, reasonable and justifiably.

Took my car in for an oil change a couple of months ago. Service was excellent and very thorough. In addition to the oil change several key inspections were done and a comprehensive review of the findings were provided as I was settling up. I was advised that my battery was needing replaced and was offered the opportunity to have it done while I was there that day, but I chose to wait. I was advised to have it done before it got cold ..long story short: I waited too long and my battery died! Wish I had listened but I won t make thatMistake again. These guys are friendly, professional and knowledgeable! I m a forever customer!Services: Battery, Oil change

Fantastic customer service!!! We had a flat tire with -5 degree weather and a car full of kids. They stopped what they were doing, even though they had a full shop, and replaced our tire in less than 30 minutes. They also found the best deal, which was unexpected. Highly recommend!

When I went in for an oil change, I also asked for inspection of my car, and nothing came back. Soon after I noticed a stuttering of my vehicle, and my wheels slapping the wheel wells. After I went back in the shop made me aware of an issue that had been missed by an employee, and they quickly went to resolve my issue, and even gave me a discount afterwards for the inconvenience. Very professional very friendly and highly recommended.Services: Tires, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Went in to order 2 tires for my truck. Specifically asked for Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT. Showed up for appointment, asked if they were the AT3 XLT, was told yes, went to pay and price was $100 less than quoted. Left looked at tires and they were AT3 4S.Service: TiresService: Tires

Needed a tire patch ASAP. I changed my flat and brought the flat tire in, they were able to get it patched reasonably quick (Lethal Weapon 2 was on in the waiting room so I was good). They put the tire back on for me and it's been right as rain ever since.

Tried to make me stay and buy tires. It's not worth going to this place. Find a local business that will treat u right and not make u feel like u r just a price tag. Don't be bullied.

Won t ever get tires here again, my wife s van needed four new ones when done the tpms dash light was on, I explained to the manager this light wasn t on before we had the tires put on, he tried telling me it s the vans computer and told my wife just to drive it with the light on. I took it to a very good mechanic and in 10 minutes he had the light off. I would NOT recommend car x, they just don t have the experience!

They acted like it was going to be the biggest pain to squeeze me in. Empty bays and empty parking lot at the time. Two mechanics parked at the front desk sitting on their phones. They apparently just didn't feel like working so I left. This business won't be here much longer.

Aaron and his staff are amazing. I had 2 of my vehicles down and they fixed them both for me the same day! Actually in a few hours AND they were busy as well. They did not put me off, they cared about and wanted to fix my situation. I will never go anywhere else for vehicle repair. Aaron and his crew really want to help people and should be commended for their great service! Thank you Aaron and crew!

I made an appointment to have an oil change online 3 days prior to taking it to be serviced. I walk in and told the worker that I have an appointment for an oil change. The worker took my name and said that he didn't have me on their list. I showed him my confirmation email and he said the earliest he could do is the next day. I told him I need it done today that is why I made an appointment so far ahead of time. I took my vehicle to another mechanic and they fit me in to have my oil changed immediately. Bad service by Car-x. If I can't trust making an appointment then you lost my service today and in the future.

Decent service. Is what I wish I could say about the poorly managed CARX aka Monroe muffler inc. as a previous customer and employee I could not in good conscious recommend this business to anyone. Although the lady working the office has the best customer service the service in the shop itself is lacking and under qualified at this time and until the regional manager finds a new home it will stay that way as there employees are under paid and expected to over preform. If they keep hiring people with little to no qualifications and or experience then it will eventually meet its own demise. I hope others have a better opportunityServices: Tires, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, A/C installation & repair

The woman working in the front was very polite, the employees seemed very knowledgeable, and my oil change was completed within a half hour.However, today I went in to get my coolant checked since it has been leaking and was told there was nothing that could be done since the person who checks coolant pressure was not in. That normally wouldn't be an issue except that it was obvious where the leak was coming from. As much as I enjoy their service, this may be the last time I use their services.

Needed brake work done and they were able to schedule me in only a few days out. I was able to get in, get a quote, and get services within 2 hours which is what they estimated when I made the appt. Staff is upfront and friendly. So far, my brakes are running smoothly!

BUYER BEWARE! After allowing this company to do recommended work, my car became so screwed up that I had to have a dealership take over the repair and I am now out $7,500 due to Car X's negligence. I am now on to small claims court to get my money that they owe me!

I was next door at the gas station and one of my tires was completely flat. This was at 4:55p exactly. When I looked it up their hrs said they were open until 6p. I called them and the lady who answered the phone said that she would ask and came back on and said they couldn't help me because all of their tire techs had already punched out. This was at exactly 5.This place will never have my business nor any of my families. Very bad business practice and obviously very misleading to potential customers

I went here in July. All I wanted was an oil change and a tire rotation. When I got my car back, it was very low on transmission fluid and way too full of oil. They're either grossly incompetent, or they were just trying to mess with me to get me to spend more money. Definitely avoid these people. I used to come here years ago for tires, but something has changed. I will never go back.

Pretty good auto repair, good at what the do, fair prices and easy to talk to. They also keep good records so if u need info from several yrs back they can tell y what u need to know.But they are not perfect. After checking air on all tires including the spare they forgot to reset the the controls and I didn't catch until nearly home. I had to turn around and go back. They discovered their error quickly and told me up front they had goofed and apologized. I contend them for their hosesty!.

Excellent guys , Wonderful manager so I took my car in because I noticed the antifreeze coolant was leaking after inspection which they always offer free of charge they found nothing wrong with the car but noticed that a wrong coolant was applied to the car which wasn t my fault because the company I went to buy the coolant from gave me a wrong one and so they have to do a coolant flush which gonna cost me huge buck but that wonderful manager called the other company on my behalf and made them pay for the repair cost because it was their mistake .
