Very trustworthy family owned shop. Alex and Jose are very straight forward mechanics when it comes to diagnosing car issues and repairing them at a reasonable price. They also will have you in and out in no time. It's rare to find stand up mechanics that don't overcharge you. I will continue to bring all of my cars to be serviced here.

I saved $60 coming to A&J for a second opinion and I got an even longer warranty for the part they repaired. Alex was very nice and accommodating with my limited schedule. I would definitely recommend this place for honest and good work.

The transmission failed in my Suburban and I was looking for a shop close to me. I found J&A online and noticed all the good reviews. I decided to take my vehicle to them for repair and I am glad that I did. When I dropped off my Suburban, they explained what they were going to do and that they would call me when after they diagnosed the problem.The next day, the shop called and was told what they found and what needed to be done to repair, a complete rebuild of the transmission. They quoted me a price and told me how long it would take. I went ahead with the repair. They had it done in the time-frame and for the price as quoted.When I picked up the vehicle, I was shown the bad parts that had to be replaced and a complete explanation of what caused the parts to fail and the best way to prevent another failure. The rebuild came with a warranty and I have been very happy with the repair.I don't typically write reviews, but I went to J&A because of the reviews I read. I feel like they were upfront in their explanation and quote and they did a great job with the repair. I am writing this to add to the other reviews and hope that it convinces someone else to give J&A a shot at repairing their vehicle.Service: Transmission

After getting diagnosed and estimates at different shops. I came here to J & A Transmissions and brought my vehicle and was told I had a smaller issue that would only cost me $150. The owner here saved me at least $1000 and checked my transmission more thoroughly than the other places.I would definitely recommend this place for honest repair work.

Overconfident and unable to diagnose the issues leading to costly repairs and having to go to other shops for the right diagnosis. Can do easy jobs but not difficult repairs.

Took my 2005 Ram for diferencial repair and a drive shaft repair. They gave me my truck quicker than expected and gave me a price fraction of what other shops were quoting me. Will take my all my vehicles here and recommend all my family and friend to this place! They always treat me like family and have great customer service. 100% recommended

Extremely fast, friendly, and helpful. My car broke down on Thursday and they had a new transmission in by Monday. Just an all around good honest family business. Could not be happier with the service.
