I took my Audi here to get an oil change, very excited to save a few Pennies vs going to the dealership for every oil change. Hours later I get a call saying there is $7000+ of suspension/steering/alignment repairs needed for my car to even be drive able. I was told that it could break down any moment, and that the damage is very visible even to the eye. This was very shocking to me as I just took it to get an oil change ~3500 miles prior at the dealership. I had also gotten new tires a few months prior & had them rotated (not at dealership) w the oil change. So multiple people have looked at this car, and not reported any kind of problems. Thank goodness my cousin encouraged me to get my car and get a second opinion. Even driving the car or being in it, you do not hear any kind of loud noises that would warrant $7000+ of repairs. This was another thing that made it shocking to hear about the immediate repairs needed. When I tell you this man on the phone made it seem like my tire was going to fall off on the first bump I hit, like this man was really trying to scare me. This was over a month ago at this point, because I wanted to be sure that this information was false before making a bad review. After taking my baby to the dealership, they quote me half the price & half of the repairs Powders said was needed. Keep in mind this is the DEALERSHIP, where their mechanics charge $200+ for an hour of labor. So if you re a young female I would not recommend taking your car here, and if you do to take a male with you. It is disappointing and disrespectful that they tried to scare me into spending unnecessary money on repairs they probably wouldn t have even actually done. The fact females cannot freely take their cars places due to things like this is ridiculous. On top of all of that, they called me I believe an hour or so after they originally told me it would be done, and they didn t even do the oil change.

One of the first things that a consumer wants in a car repair shop is that the broken item actually gets repaired and actually continues to work. The second important thing is price and they are a fair price automotive repair shop, the third is honesty. Believing your mechanic is perhaps the most important item. I can assure you that Mike at powders automotive meet all of the above criteria and we highly recommend them.!

I take all my family cars here because i know i can trust the work being done. Amazing place. First of all these guys are honest. Mike isn't going to tell you you need work done if you don't. And if you do he'll find an affordable alternative if possible. I've never been charged for him taking a look and several times he's let me know nothing needs to be done right now.They use quality parts. You'll never have to worry about anything failing or needing replaced sooner than needed. There is no one I trust more than Powders automotive. Honest people, honest work, you can't ask for more from a mechanic.

Powder's has been my go to place for more than 10 years. Awesome people, and the most honest you're going to find. If your vehicle doesn't need work, or there's an easy alternative they'll tell you. I adore these guys.

I've taken a few cars to Powder's over the years and they've always been friendly and HONEST about what was needed and how much it would cost. No BS and no attitude.Most recently I had to junk an older car that needed more work than it was worth and not only were they helpful with the assessment -they found me the best price for scrapping it. I'll always take my cars to Powder's.

Really loved this place, i felt like they educated and didn't push for anything. They even went above and beyond and helped me with something that they didn't have to. Really appreciate helping me with that oil filter!! Will definitely be my choice of mechanic shop from now on.

I have taken my vehicle to Powders s for several repairs and each time I have received quality customer service. Mike at the front desk is knowledgeable and doesn t force repairs on you like other shops. Reasonably priced and timely service.

I've used these guys off an on for the past 5 years and they've always been great... even to the point of suggesting we take our business to another shop because they could do job "x" cheaper and faster. Very trustworthy and have always done a great job!

Customer service is fantastic and honest, these guys worked hard and efficient to get my truck back to me same day with oil pressure problems. Overall experience was beyond greater then expected, will be going back in the future with any auto problems.
