Today I had two of my tires replaced and they did a good job for the most part. Got home and discovered lug nuts were all loose and then torqued them myself. Just be mindful and thorough with the job. Customers will appreciate that more than how fast you can get it done.

Mike Willis and the entire crew at Merlin Complete Auto Care in Loves Park, IL performed Magic on my 1996 Ford Crown Victoria! They Removed & Replaced Catalytic Converter, fuel filter ,and intake manifold I could not have been more pleased! Thank you, Mike!

I started taking my car here for small tire repairs and oil changes out of convenience because I work nearby and it is easy to drop my car off. Any time I ve come here the staff is always friendly and helpful.This time around I needed some routine maintenance and decided to take it here instead of my usually mechanic. Because of how helpful Mike Willis was and willing to explain what I was getting done, I will be taking my car back with any future repairs. Just had our Hyundai Santa Fe serviced at Merlin and highly recommend them for service! We have used their service several times over the years on our vehicles and the staff are always knowledgeable and professional. Mike Willis has been so helpful and responsive with taking care of our vehicle needs and repairs are done on a timely basis which is very important. Well actually I got a little pissed off because I thought that $30 for a tire repair was highly expensive cuz I could get it at another place for twelve dollars and fifty cents so the man decided he wanted to make me happy so he would give me back my $30. Because I'm a senior Citizen and I'm living on a fixed income and every penny counts. But I will go back Tomorrow cuz it is the only place I go to for an oil change thank you so much

Merlin has some great service. All employees are all super nice. I got a quick oil change, including a FREE tire repair I needed. Thank you to Mike Willis for all the help and going through everything I need done on my truck.

Came here as a new customer for an oil change, and they did great. They did a full inspection on car, and rotated tires as part of oil change. Mike willis was great and has excellent customer service. He even offered to wash the car for me. They help you and show you what is wrong with the car and explain what could have caused it. Good prices for good quality work.Services: Exhaust, Oil change

Amazing service. Mike was so helpful and got me right in today. I have a speciality car and they were super accommodating. Let me know about other services I could use, but wasn t pushy about it at all and even offered a future discount. Even got a free car wash with my services today. This place has such great service. Mike was so kind and helpful. My front brakes were sticking as I drove through the night before and had to stay the night and got an appointment set up first thing the next morning. I took it in, mike told me what was needed, showed me what was wrong, and got it turned around in time for me to get home! He even let me keep the old rotors and pads for a refund on the last place I took the car! I would definitely recommend this place!

Shout out to Merlin complete auto care for helping me out in a bind for getting me a new battery and helping me out with excellent customer service. I was looking for a new auto shop to service my vehicle, so I thought I'd try this store. I had a great experience. Oil change was quick and the mechanic did a though inspection letting me know about other things that will eventually need to be taken care of. Of course it's optional, but I think it's great to be informed and have awareness of these things. Mike went out of his way to attend to me and was very informative. This is now my go to shop for my vehicles.

Visited today for an oil change, and the man at the desk (I believe the new GM) was so incredibly nice and honest about my vehicle and some things I needed done.I could tell that the customers' feedback and experience matter- even if it's just waiting in the lobby (which was VERY clean for it being an auto shop). He was personable, knowledgeable, and grateful for the business. Not to mention, the guys in the shop worked efficiently and quickly, so it wasn't a WHOLE day ordeal for an oil change!It was an awesome experience, and I'll be back!

New manager Mike is great, this place needed someone new and they got it. The Merlin name is back in the game as a trusted service establishment. This is no 15 min oil change vendor, it s a customer centered service center. They show you everything wrong with the vehicle, explain recommend maintenance, and even help with financing if needed. They will explain issues, and work with you until your satisfied with the results. Small town personalized service backed by a brand name guarantee. 5 stars

Recently, I was having a problem with my vehicle, and I stopped in to have it addressed. The manager Mike Willis, came out to take a look at my vehicle and found that it was just my battery cables that were loose. He tightened my cables, which corrected the problem that I was having with numerous electrical issues. Mike was very kind, very knowledgeable and could have charged me for repairs and did not. This is a very honest establishment. I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Mike Willis and the whole Merlin team was amazing. Got us in very quickly, serviced our vehicle very well for a reasonable price. Highly would recommend Merlin s team for any car troubles that anyone may have!
