Got tboned on the rear passenger quarter panel at a light and they took 2 months longer than the estimated time all while telling me the car would be ready this Friday for almost a whole month straight. Once I finally got the car back I realized a squeaking noise coming from the side that had damage, took my car back had the production manager and master tech accompany me on a test drive. Master tech was sitting in the back on the side where noise was coming from and claimed he heard it when I pointed out the noise even rolled the window down to hear it better and everything then the production manager claimed he couldn t hear it, so I kept pointing out when it was happening and suddenly the tech wasn t able to hear anything either and all they could hear was wind noise . I ll give it to them the body repair was done well and looks great but now I m going to have to pay out of pocket to figure out this noise because they couldn t hear it even with me pointing out exactly when it was happening. Overall not a very good experience and wouldn t recommend anyone to take their vehicle there for collision repair.

Was rear-ended at a red light and the repair they did was essentially just painting over it. Didn't smooth out the damage at all. This was a few years ago and I was physically very ill around that time and never got back around to reviewing. Now I've got hail damage, and remembered so I'll definitely be avoiding.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Lack of communication among staff, my car has a small mark on the door after Gerber Collision so-called repaired it. My car was kept 2 weeks longer. When I called about the status of my car I was informed by staff it would be ready and was currently in repair. Days later I went to get a item out my car and it was still sitting untouched. They weren t excepting me to show up. The experience was not good, they didn t deliver the quality of work, customer service etc. I hope services improve in the future.

Mauro Perez who is the general manager of this Gerber location, has integrity and is a trustworthy individual. He is a feather in the cap of this Gerber collision. I was told they put a rush order in for my car window. On the day it was supposed to be put in I got a message saying the glass isn t in abs it will be here the following week. On the day it was due to be put in I got another message saying the window still needs to be transferred.i called a local auto body business and canceled Gerber.

Took my car here to get extensive damage to the front of my car repaired. Due to supply chain issues, it took a while to get all of the parts, which was understandable.Megan and Alyssa are great reps! They called me religiously twice a week with updates.When my car was ready for pickup, I did notice a couple minor blemishes to the interior door panel. Not a problem for their team - they promptly ordered a replacement and scheduled a time to have it installed.Also had an issue with the tire pressure sensing system. Knowing I work out of town and getting to their shop in time was inconvenient, they actually called a dealership within 5 miles of my work and arranged to have that service done at the dealership and billed directly to them!They are absolutely committed to customer service and satisfaction. Highly recommended!

I was hit on the driver's side in a hit and run. The damage wasnt super bad but it was hard to open the door and the left front wheel was bent An eyesore on a pretty, white convertible. Now its just like new! The staff was very courteous and helpful. They kept me informed on the progress of the repairs. Hopefully I'll never have to but I would go there again and recommend it to anyone who needs repairs.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I am very happy with the service that I recieved from Gerber Collision. The manager Mauro was amazing since he agreed for me to pay a reasonable flat fee for my repairs. I had to pay out of pocket, and the damage to my car was significant. I was so relieved that he worked with me on the price. All the staff were friendly and polite. I appreciated the rental they provided to me at no cost when my repairs were delayed. I couldn't ask for a better auto body repair shop. My car looked just like it did when I bought it after I picked it up. I am very happy and would gladly take my care back if I ever needed any more work done. Thank you Gerber Collision!

I recently had the EXTREMLY unfortunate experience of having my older truck repaired at this business after being rear ended. This was a preferred shop for the other drivers insurance, and close to me.I went in and scheduled and estimate appointment. A women came out took some pictures and said it looks like just a bumper unit needed to be replaced. I asked how long it would take, she responded less than a day, only about an hour. I set up an appointment for the work to be done 2 weeks later. and didnt bother with a rental car yet.The day I brought my truck in they came out and re-inspected the truck again. I asked again to verify the truck would be done that day. The same women from before said yes. That was the last I heard from the shop all day, no calls or updated came in.The next day I get a text they finally started working on my truck after being told twice it was going to be done in less than a day. About 1 hour later I get the only phone call I receieved from the shop this whole time that the bumper they had come in was damaged and couldn't be used. It would be another day. now 3 days for a 1 hour repair job.The next day came and again no call, no text, I called the shop at 4:30. The gal at the desk didn''t know, and had to go find out. She told me the bumper didn't come in that day..... Great now I had to wait another day.Day 4. No calls, no texts. I had to call the shop at 4:20 for them to finally tell me the truck was done! They seemed bothered that I was calling and asking again.I will never come back to this facility or any other from this company again. Terrible customer service!Service: Body & Trim

The staff was so pleasant and helpful, they go above and beyond. My car was fixed fast, it was body work. There was an issue with my steering wheel after repairs were done, but they took care of it without ifs,ands, or buts. They even offered to get me a rental for the meantime. Alissa and Abby are absolutely amazing. Their customer service was top notch, immensely helpful in taking care of the insurance process, and open lines of communication throughout.I brought my Ram 3500 in for bed and cab corner damage. I'm usually skeptical about the work companies do after having bad experiences elsewhere but Gerber staff and the techs did a great job. Everything from the initial visit, working with insurance, getting me into a rental at Enterprise, communication throughout, and finishing the work well before their original estimated completion date was first class. The quality of work is top notch and came with a guarantee on paint etc.I would definitely recommend this place!

Worst experience ever! A simple door scratch job turned into a 11 day marathon of excuses and delays. It did not matter to this business, that missed their 4 day estimate , they were costing the customer additional costs in rental fees and missed appointments.Lesson learned, never again!There are many other choices in Rockford.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

If I could, I d give 0 stars. Nothing like bringing a brand new truck to a body shop for repairs just for everything else on it to get scratched and dented while it s there.. the paint match is horrendous and their fit up wasn t great either. I m almost embarrassed to drive my brand new truck right now as it looks absolutely awful... they have no self respect for vehicles since my rubber seals were all painted over as well.. my truck went back 6 times in a span of 2 months and they still couldn t correct the issues. They damaged my rear bumper and rocker panels in the process of it being at their facility.. Inspection was done and I got the go ahead to go through another body shop with over 6k in rework. They had to blend my passenger door and they painted over my door seals and taped off my door handle.. chop shopped truck that was only 6 months old and absolutely no imperfections prior to my accident ended up having over half of the body worked on and it was just fromt end damage to begin with.. The only nice thing I got out of Gerber was that Mike and Ryan were very respectful and kind. Other than that, I m just not happy with my vehicle and it s a gut wrenching feeling.

My car got hit by a deer. They were so good to us by helping us to get going since we were leaving for vacation that day.Pick the car up today and they did a beautiful job. Looks like a brand new car.When we pick it up I ask if they could give me another another estimate on my other car and they did and told me how much.Very friendly and professional.5 stars. Deb

Multiple delays took an extra 5 days without a car! Work done seems ok. Broke part inside but claimed it wasn't them.

Picked up my bosses SUV for him, they took precautions to make sure I was supposed to be the one getting it, I called my boss and just had him come get it. I was impressed with the precautions and glad they wont just give someone's vehicle to just anybody. Great job guys.

If I could give Gerber 0 stars I would. I have never been more DISAPPOINTED or unhappy with a company claiming to do great work. My car received damage from a recent hail storm .... I made an appointment with Gerber to get my car fixed and they told me it should take 3-4 days ..... TWO WEEKS later they called saying that it would not be ready for another week! They stated there were discrepancies with the insurance quote and were waiting for the insurance company...... I was livid. I went and picked up my car (which had had nothing done to it .... it sat there for 2 weeks) and called my insurance company .. My insurance company told me they had NEVER received a call from Gerber. I am beyond pissed. I will never take my car there again nor will I recommend them to anyone. I understand they are very busy with car repairs due to recent storms, but if you are that busy and cannot fix vehicles in a timely fashion you should be upfront and honest Very disappointed

If I could give 0 stars I would. They did a terrible job on my car. My door handle came off the very first day I got it home. My mirrors wouldn't fold automatically, my drivers side door panel came apart. Passenger side door was dropped, have to slam it in order for it to shut. Only one head light windex sprayer works . Get this , couldn't even stick my key in the key hole to un lock the darn thing... Terrible customer service . Never will I ever recommend this place. To this date my car is not right.. I will pay some other place to fix it. I won't even bother taking it back.

You guys did a fantastic job on my 2015 GMC Canyon SLE. Even thou it took a long time to fix but it was well worth that wait time. If I need help with anything done to my vehicles I'm going straight to you guys. Serious or minor. I can't thank you guys enough. I felt like I was bugging you guys by calling you everyday. You guys are awesome. I would definitely recommend you guys to other people if they need their cars/truck or SUVs fixed
