They were nice when I paid $200 to have a new car battery installed but when I went back for help because my dashboard clock was no longer working they couldn't be bothered to even fake interest in my problem. They insinuated that the clock hadn't been working before they changed the battery and said in a smug tone that it wasn't their problem. Will spend my $200 elsewhere in the future.

I used to come in all the time, I buy a lot of small batteries there. (Remember I said used to). The new management doesn t know top from bottom or left from right. The new staff seem lost, except for the one member of the team they still have from the last group. I m not actually sure what happened but I do know the last team that was working there was always super helpful and friendly. The new batch seems to have an attitude like they don t want to do anything for you.

Needed floor scrubber batteries. Staff was helpful on the phone and in-store. Without asking, came to my car to pick up the old batteries. Also, placed the new ones in my car. Great selection. Online order was fulfilled shortly after placing it.

I've gone in a few times since they got a whole new staff and it just doesn't seem to be worth it. They just seem confused, flustered and continuously having to text and call there "Rockford store" every time to find inventory or ask if they can do it. If you're in the Roscoe/South Beloit area save the gas and trip and go to Beloit

Used to frequent this store all the time. It seemed in a matter of days the entire staff was gone including the manager. I've tried calling and whoever answered couldn't find my order and when I finally went into the store and worked with "new management" it made it clear I'll be taking my money and service else where.Update: What a joke. A response from "the owner" saying to contact the store manager for more assistance. You mean the same management I posted about having issues with in my review?

Twice recently the people at Batteries Plus had the opportunity to sell me something I didn't need--a watch battery (turns out the watch was shot, not the battery) and batteries for a mobility scooter. (I assumed the batteries were bad; they suggested I could give a try at trying to recharge them over several days, which didn't work, but I appreciated their suggestion and ultimately bought the replacements from them.)I'll steer any business I can to them; businesses with this honesty deserve all the patronage possible.

Purchased platinum AGM Marine & RV Duracell for my pontoon, paying the extra $ and thinking I was getting a quality battery. Well, I have gone through 2 replacements, each lasting less than a year. I take good care of my batteries, removing them from the watercraft when not in use & connecting them to a trickle charger - these are HORRIBLE quality batteries! Furthermore, management is telling me they will not warranty the battery because they re considering this user neglect but they cannot tell me what I should have done differently to prevent my supposed neglectful act. I would avoid all 3 Rockford area locations at all costs and I would stay away from Duracell marine products as they re the only batteries I ve had problems with in decades of boating. I now have an Everlast Walmart battery that cost me under $100 which I know I ll be much happier with - should have never made an effort to upgrade batteries!

I have always had great service at Batteries Plus Bulbs, and today really confirmed I will remain a loyal customer. I placed an order online for in-store pick up and shortly after I received a call from Tyler (employee) explaining that I could save even more money if I set up a business account. He cancelled my initial order, set up the appropriate account, and reordered for me. I can't tell you how impressed I am! Great job in customer service, quality product, and fair pricing for a specialty store!

This is a very neat and organized store. I went in for batteries for my car Fob. They not only had those batteries but also offered a special that they had on AA & AAA batteries. It was such a deal that I bought both.

Went in for a simple battery replacement on my watch. An older man working there took the watch to start the replacement. After about 5 minutes he came from the back of the store where he was working and told me he was having difficulty with the replacement for some reason. I found this a little odd because it had been replaced at the same location before within minutes and no problems. He returned to the back of the store and after maybe 5 more minutes he finally got the battery replaced and the digital display was working again. I paid and went home thinking it was working. Got home and saw that the two lower buttons on the watch no longer worked and were locked into place. They no longer clicked and the watch is essentially useless now. The time cannot be changed. I took the watch back thinking it might be an easy fix and the same older man who broke it was working and tried to fix it. No luck with that. Now I paid for a replacement battery and got a broken watch for it. I would advise against going to this location for a battery replacement if you value your watch.

The service is great and the prices are second to none. I have bought two replacement key fobs from this place. I checked dealers and other specialty shops for fobs, but I always return here because the prices are the best. I also return for the life time replacement on the batteries. That is a deal I can't beat, since I have 3 cars with fobs.

I have shopped at the Loves Park Batteries Plus on a few occasions and have had two cell phone batteries replaced there. They have always been professional and communicate the ETA for phone repairs accurately.Prices are fair and in line with other repair centers.

Very helpful. This time around they were not able to help with the battery issue I was having. But they were able to give me suggestions on another place to try out that may be able to help and I appreciate that very much. They have recelled some equipment batteries for me in the past with great success and were reasonably priced. I give them 5 stars for past and present service and pricing!

Bought battery online, got 20% off and when I went to the store they installed it for me. It don't get much better than that! Great people to do business with! I get auto batteries, key fob batteries, garage door remote batteries, and watch batteries at this location , great people to do business with.

The sales guys there are super helpful, everyone that was there when I was had individual attention. I needed several types of batteries he even installed the new battery into my garage door opener. Thanks! They were also super nice to my autistic nephew that's obsessed with light bulbs.

Despite sub-optimal mobile experience ordering online, the service at store was great and friendly as always. Ordered online and called when I arrived. Battery was brought to me and loaded without me leaving the car. Associate was friendly and informative.

The guys at Batteries Plus worked on our car for half an hour or so, trying to get the battery hold down screw out but it was stripped. They don't even charge for installation. Good store! Good service. They go beyond!

Went in with two broken key fobs and instead of leading me to new fobs that would need much more expensive and would need to be programmed, they soldered some parts back on to fix the old boards.They then put one of the old boards into a new shell (old one was damaged), with new batteries, and both work like new for $41. Had i gone to the dealer, they would have sold me totally new fobs, then charged me to program them which would have cost me at least $300.

Been going here for a few years. Great prices and the best selection. Knowledgeable staff. They even gave me a big discount on a popsocket for my phone! I only wish that the store had better road access.

Called ahead to confirm that they had a replacement battery for my smartphone. When I arrived I was told by one attendant that they did not. After questioning another clerk he acknowledged that they did. They then wanted to know my pass codes and for me to leave the phone with them for an extended period of time. There is no way that I was going to leave my phone and passcodes with them. The explanation was they wanted to verify that the phone worked before and after insertion of the batteries which would take at least 45 minutes. All of this seemed rather odd. They were Unapologetic and clearly did not wish to do business. Perhaps because it wasn't an easy Battery sale. I left the store without giving them my phone. Customer service here is extremely poor insofar as I was treated. This particular place is not interested to accommodate a wider customer base.

Ordered online. In store pickup was ready when I arrived. The tech installed two of the batteries and said he'd call when the backorder arrives next week. Overall, an efficient and pleasant experience.

Great place guy didn't have the exact battery I needed but was able make a harness to use one they did have to get a machine running and making mj why for my business definitely wouldn't have gotten that service at Walmart

The guy that helped me was extremely helpful, knew what he was doing and didn't waste my time or his. I will be back in this weekend for a tractor battery also. I wish I would have caught his name, very nice guy.

My motorcycle battery started getting weak. They did an overnight charge and it tested Ok but marginal. They looked up my account and saw that my warranty only had 3 days left. They changed it out and gave me a new battery - no charge! -even though my old battery probably would have lasted a couple more weeks.. and the warranty would have expired. They did the right thing for their customer. Who does that anymore? Great experience!!!
