The team is excellent. And the service was amazing. The manager Ross, took the time to explain exactly what was going to happen and the the best and or worst case scenario so there was no misunderstanding.. The team remain in constant contact with providing me updates etc. My car looks brand new! I am very satisfied with the service from this location.

I was in a recent accident and I took my car to crash champions for a estimate. They advised me it would take 2 weeks for the repair and that I would be 100% satisfied. Crash champions kept me in the loop by contacting me twice a week upon completion. The customer service and management (Ross) was amazing. Once my car was ready for pickup, it looked like they just picked it up from the dealership showroom. Amazing job!! I wish I could leave them 10 stars

Was in an accident, somebody not paying attention in traffic and he hit my driver door. I didn t second guess who I was going to take my Jeep to because of previous work they ve done. Service King kept me informed about my Vehicle. Even when it went a day past the estimated date, they kept me inform. Professional when I walked in and professional when I picked my Jeep up. Some times life throws you a curve ball - and some times that curve ball is backing out of the garage and just about ripping your car door off. The driver side door was in such bad shape that it wouldnt even close all the way. This happened on a Saturday morning so I left a message for Service King in Lombard. They called me first thing Monday morning and had a tow truck out about 75-90 minutes later. The team was great at communicating the process to me over the phone, sending me the proper docs via email to sign for approval, dealing with Allstate to get everything appraised and approved for body work. Service King provided impeccable service and communication. They text you updates and have a customer portal where you can follow the progress of your vehicle. The best part of my experience was working with the manager Mike C. Mike was very professional and his customer service was top notch. Mike understands that no one wants to deal with having their car repaired in this manner - and he makes the whole process very painless. I'd highly recommend the Lombard Service King! The final result was amazing. The door looks good as new, doesnt stick at all! You can tell the team at Service King really has some talented body work professionals.Service: Body & Trim

The team leader Bird is absolutely phenomenal! Quality workmanship is hard to find and this place exceeds any expectations I have ever had with cars, they are very prompt and straight forward with everything and just break it down to every detail possible! You guys really blew me away, THANK YOU so much for the work and communication. I like the statement That s how it has to be by Bird because man... just WOW!

Such a great experience, the updates, constant communication, it looked like a brand new car. Ross, Bird were amazing. Frank the gentleman who did the actual work was great and actually shared pictures throughout the process. I highly recommend this body shop.

Made an appointment thru my insurance company-went and got the estimate. They told me they could do the work that day, I wasn t prepared so I said I would make arrangements and come back. I contacted my insurance company and they told me there was no estimate. They proceeded to tell my insurance company I was a no show. How infuriating. As a woman I feel discriminated against. I was there. The guys name was Chris and he told me it would cost around 1500. Plus my deductible. Why would they tell my insurance company I was a no show. WHEN I WAS THERE!!! What a waste of my time, and very dishonest. I would never recommend. No matter how good their work may be.

Disappointed. I ve brought my car before and recommended others here. Nope my son brought his car here and while they did good work, they forgot about an issue with the hood latch and it s been over 2 months and I m still waiting for it to be resolved. It wouldn t be such a big deal because I know there are parts and delivery issues all over, but it s the constant lack of communication and updates that I feel they aren t doing much for me since the insurance already paid them. How hard is it to call a customer back like you said you would to inform them about your car part? Very upset.

ZERO STARS. AVOID SERVICE KING OF LOMBARD LIKE THE PLAGUE. The incompetence and ceaseless lies would almost be funny if I wasn't still stuck in this nightmare.Got in an accident on July 18. Allstate referred me to Service King as some sort of "preferred" vendor. Long story short, I got the car to Service King at my inconvenience but Service King wasn't able to even look at the car until July 21. The 7/21 meeting with Eddie took about 2 minutes.The 1st communication from Eddie was a text on July 28, stating the completion date would be 8/11.Next communication was a text from Eddie on 8/1 stating that the work was 51% complete and on schedule for 8/11. Seemed odd given that the car was sitting outside in their yard--seemingly untouched-- in the exact same spot as of August 1.Next was a text claiming that they were "near completion." Again, odd because the car was not moved from the yard to the garage until 8/7, in my recollection.On 8/11, I called Eddie to schedule the pickup of my car. Eddie told me that the car was not done and that all they needed was some sort of support bracket for the radiator. Eddie stated that the car would be finished by the following Wed. 8/16.5 mins. after that phone call, Eddie sent a text stating that the updated completion date was August 18, not August 16.On 8/18, I tried to pick up the car at 5:30 pm. Eddie stated that the car was unfinished for no particular reason. I then saw the car in the garage and the damaged area of the car was completely taken apart, unpainted and unfinished. It was obvious that they were waiting for more than a radiator bracket. The conversation turned profane and Eddie stated that the car would be finished by August 22. In addition, as of August 18 I had exhausted the 30-day rental car reimbursement of my Allstate policy. Eddie suggested that they may pay for the rental car after the 30 days but refused to bind Service King in writing or on video.On August 22, I received a voice mail from Eddie stating that the car was "unfortunately" not finished and would be finished on 8/23.On 8/23 I returned to Service King to pick up the car. Eddie again stated that the car was not finished because they were waiting on an "air cleaner" that they just discovered was damaged despite having had the car for 5 weeks. Eddie stated that the car would be ready on 8/25. I demanded to take the car home and have the remaining work done myself. Eddie refused. Upon seeing the car, it was obvious that little or nothing had been done since 8/18. Eddie stated that the car would be finished on 8/25. After seeing the car, it's safe to say that it won't. Looking back, every statement made by Eddie to me was a willful lie. Moreover, to this day I still have not been provided an estimate or any itemization of the work that is allegedly being done.The Service King scam is this: Allstate has some financial incentive to send people to Service King. Either they own part of it, or Service King has agreed to work cheap. Either way, Service King has neither the competent personnel nor the facilities to service the volume of people they are sent by Allstate. If Eddie would have simply told me that the repairs would have taken 6 weeks--which he knew was the case when we met--I would have gone to Glen Ellyn Body Shop, which I know from experience does good, timely work. Instead, Eddie likely has some financial incentive to get people in the door, which means constant lies, and dealing with the consequences later.At this point, I don't anticipate getting the car back until well into September, if ever. I don't even want to think about the quality of the work, let alone my $1,000+ rental bill.

The quality of the work that is done by them is bad. I don t recommend them and I recommend your car dealers especially if the insurance will pay the cost.

Service King Lombard was great a few months ago when they did a major repair on another vehicle. Since then, they changed to crash champions it is totally different. I brought a vehicle in for an estimate and asked multiple times for an estimated time frame for repairs so I could plan accordingly. They sent an price estimate by email but there was no estimated time frame. I have been trying for two weeks to get an answer. Every time I call, I have to leave a message for Bruce who never calls me back. I have left 4 messages and sent an email over a two week period without response. They have completely ghosted me. In my last message, I said I would be taking my business elsewhere unless someone calls me back. Still no response two days later. Very frustrating and a waste of time.

The actual things that were replaced were nice. The work was good except for where they damaged the paint but did not want to admit it. Not satisfied with their service. They lack communication skills. In need of better management. There was a confusion daily of when to pick up the car. When we came to pick it up there was paint chipped in the back which they tried to pin on us. It wasn t in the before picture but it was in their after picture. They said it probably came off in the car wash due to a previous paint job. But why would they give such a rough car wash to this car when it was painted during this repair? The receptionist told me hand wash only. They weren t ready to take responsibility and we re looking for a way out. But I knew that the chip was not there before. Communication lacked because I was told it was ready Friday. But I wasn t able to pick it up over the weekend. Then on Monday I got a call that it s actually not ready and should be ready Tuesday. Never got a call. Then when I called Wednesday they said it should be ready that day and they would call. Still no call. Thursday I called for answers and they said the car was ready since Monday for pick up ????!!!!!!! So what is all this confusion. Was it ready or not? Also the manager was throwing her old employees under the bus saying they didn t have any record of us coming in before. And when I came in to pick up the car and pointed out the chip she was able to pull up those pictures back when her old employees made no record of our visit and zoom in to see if the chip was there. I have never seen anything like this. Obviously won t be coming back. Only came because it was All State s trusted repair shop.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Nobody likes to go to the body shop and little things happen. My wife needed some minor repairs after a mishap in parking lot. The staff here were all very good to us and professional to boot. They ordered up the parts for her vehicle during the holidays and we took in after new years day. They had the vehicle ready in 4 days and we had rental to use. They cleaned the whole vehicle interior and exterior and my wife was amazed as this was never done in past visits at other shops. The paint work they did is a perfect match and nobody is the wiser to damages. If I ever need to repair a vehicle I can state that this shop will be doing the work. We were so impressed that I took them some of my homemade beef jerky, and it is very good. They all seemed to really enjoy the jerky, I have been making it for over 35 years.Two of the staffers need to be brought into this review as they did a great job, that would Kelly and Aurelio.

The people who worked on my car were excellent. They sent me texts throughout the week to keep me updated on the progress of the repairs. They even finished 4 days earlier than their estimated date of completion. Bird was an awesome guy to work with. Very professional company. Thanks again

So far so good. The check in of my vehicle was great and the rental car was waiting for me. The young man checking me in was professional and friendly. He was very efficient. My car is being repaired at this time. The communications have been great.

Excellent repair and body work. Attention to detail and keeping me updated on the progress of the repair. They also found a tie rod that need to be replaced while repairing the body. The car body work was finished ahead of schedule. They also clean and buffed the car. My entire experience with Service King Lombard was fantastic. From start to finish, my claim was handled professionally and respectfully. Bird is a great estimator. He is respectful, courteous, and extremely thorough throughout the repair process. Bird has phenomenal attention to detail. I always am confident that the work being done is of the highest quality and shortcuts do not happen. I definitely have and will continue to recommend Service King Lombard to my family and friends. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! Unfortunately I was in a car accident and needed to get my car fixed. Service King was highly recommended by a friend who knows the GM's and Higher Ups out of the Richardson TX location. I got my rental and I had my car towed to the location on 3/19 with repairs starting on 3/22. I was told they would have my car completed within the estimated time frame of April 6th give our take a few days. I received a phone call that parts were on backorder and that it would push my completion date out maybe a week or 2. I was completely understanding as EVERYTHING we know is delayed due to the pandemic. Tiffany the Service Writer along with a host of others has called multiple times to provide updates however the updates became disappointing when the completion date was continously pushed back due to "parts being delayed". Fast forward to May 5th (1 MONTH PAST THE INITIAL COMPLETION DATE AND STILL PAYING OUT OF POCKET FOR A RENTAL CAR) I received a phone call from Tiffany that all parts were finally in, my car was in paint and waiting for assembly I should have it tomorrow May 6th. Finally.. well that's at least that's what I thought. Nope, I received a phone call again stating it was "STILL WAITING FOR ASSEMBLY". At this point I reached out to the person who recommended the shop. As a highly respected and requested tech in the southwestern region he stated "no this sounds like something went wrong or someone messed something up and this is their excuse to buy time and fix whatever it is." Here I am May 13th, another promised completion date that has come and will surely pass, almost 2 months from the date I took it in and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY CAR BACK. What is really going on? Nothing but excuses after excuses and empty promises. I wonder if Jeff McFadden is aware of how poor one of his locations is preforming. Great work. They made my truck look brand new. It doesn't even look like it's been in an accident. My vehicle look like it's new off the showroom floor. Great job, they kept me updated on the repairs to my vehicle. Very professional, they do great service. I recommend their service.

Good job I take that back recently had work done on my car that Service King did they use Bondo which rust and as my new body shop took off the front bumper Service King missed many parts on rehanging the bumper

Nothing but problems. Every review I have read basically says the same thing we experienced. Long repair time, every time we went to pick it up there was stuff still wrong. We dropped it off after an accident in October. We didn t get the car back till after Christmas. I ended up contacting their Corporate offices cause the manager kept going back on what was said. They covered half the cost of my deductible and covered the rental for the 2 1/2 months my car was in the shop. That s about the only good thing they did.Our car is still messed up. Pulls to the side, makes a loud noise on the right side if we hit a bump. The passenger side blinks saying the bulb is out but it s not. The kicker...my spare is gone!!! Needed it the other day and it wasn t in my trunk. I m not sure why it would need to be taken out for a front passenger side repair, but it was definitely in there when it was in the accident. I m not sure what the warranty on their work is but I m scared to take it back.

My wife had used a different Service King so I knew of them & we were very satisfied with there work. So when I needed to get work done to my car & knew there was 1 near my job I head there after work & I'm glad I did. They didn't disappoint me with there service or price.I'm a very satisfied customer
