I agree with the customers that said Bud (service mgr) & Steve deserve 10 stars. I went today for the first time. Wasn't sure when I looked at the reviews. They obviously were there before new mgmt took over. It was a pleasant experience to have Bud tell me what a great car I had. That I've obviously taken care of it & if continued it will last forever. I went to another place down the street & they gave me a huge list of what needed replacement. All a scam. I moved back from California & have been looking for a reputable place to take my car. As long as Bud & Steve are there I found it today. Thanks guys. Also, the store is very clean & my oil change was completed very quickly & very well priced. Anyone who gave it a bad review needs to give them another chance. You'll be glad you did. Jan : )

I made a same day appointment here instead of the Glen Ellyn location and Bud and Steve were able to fit me in at the end of the day. Their service was 10 stars and did exactly as I asked. They let me know of some things wrong with my car and oil and where to go from there. Thank you for being amazing at what you do and giving customers the reassurance and excellent service. I will only come to this Firestone from now on. Thank you Bud and Steve!

I've been coming here for 10 years. Eddie is the best manager I've ever worked with. With him, I know everything will be 100% taken care of. His customer service is absolutely top notch and he's extremely competent with mechanics. I couldn't recommend this location more. One of the few places I know I can trust.

This is my first visit ever to this fire stone experience was better than I could ve ever expected would give it 10 stars if I could. I work with both Bud and Ed and they went way above and beyond to help me with multiple repairs to a new Jeep I just purchased. From their patience and taking time to explain things when I first called to the detail they went into ensuring the repairs were done correctly and great communication - all amazing service. The car rides so much better and they were very through in their inspection and identifying issues that needed to be addressed. Thank you both!

Ed did an amazing job! I needed breaks, they set me up with new Rotors and pads with a 2 year 24,000 mile ware on the rotors and a life time ware on the pads. I dropped my car off at 11 went to get breakfast with my family and I got the call that my car was ready 15 minutes after we were done eating. Both Ed and Bud have a great customer service presence and Ed was really patient and understanding, even offered to show me the old rotors so that I could see how essential the new ones were.Can t thank them enough and I plan on coming back.

Longtime Firestone customer. Great service at this shop. My first time here as I moved to the area. Called last minute because procrastination and they got me in right away.Friendly staff and good service. Came back the next day for filters that weren t available. This crew is as helpful and friendly as the previous crew.

Brought my car in that had a number of problems. Eddie was great at walking me through what needed to be done with my car, and exceptional service was provided by Kraig who stayed a few minutes past closing time to help me pick up my vehicle. Highly recommend this location.

This is the second time I went to Firestone and had an ultimately frustrating and terrible experience. I should have known better not to come back.The first time I went in for an oil change and two new tires. I dropped my car off and they told me they would call me when my car was finished. I got a call with them letting me know that I needed new brakes because there was only 2mm left. I told them I DON'T want to move forward with that service today, but if they could either take a photo of my brakes or show me when I get into the shop that would be great. The man on the phone told me he would take a photo. When I went to pick up my car the man at the front desk asked me about my brakes again. I let him know that I asked for a photo. He told me they didn't take one. I asked him to show me my brakes and he refused. He asked if my reservations about the brakes were due to "trust." I told him yes because I have been lied to by a previous mechanic somewhere else. He proceeded to tell me that he grew up with a mom and sister and would never lie to a woman... What an inappropriate and weird response. Just show me my brakes and you wouldn't have to try and convince me that you respect women enough to not lie to them. Interestingly enough THIS time I went in for my oil change and no one said a word about my brakes. So either the previous mechanics were lying to me about them needing to be changed OR the current mechanics didn't do the complimentary inspection and neglected to let me know the status of my brakes.The second and most current time I went into Firestone for my oil change (08/31/2023) I drove away from the shop and noticed my car was making a "wubbing" noise. It's like I could hear my tires rotating. I called Firestone the next day(I picked up my car right before they closed) to see if they could take a look at my car since my car has never made that noise after an oil change before. They told me that they didn't have time to look at my car because they are short staffed. (Firestone, can we just hire enough people to make your establishment run smooth? Lord.) They told me to go to the Glenn Ellyn location so they can look at my car there. Glenn Ellyn said they couldn't get me in until Sunday. Fine, whatever. Shortly after I called Glenn Ellyn my 'Tire Pressure Low' light went on. As I was filling up my tires with air I saw a HUGE shiny silver Torx screw in my tire. Torx screws are commonly used in car shops all the time. So I called Glenn Ellyn back and they told me that the "wubbing" noise is most definitely from that Torx screw and to go back to Lombard since they did the initial service. I went into the Lombard location and the employees were less than helpful. They said since no one could prove that the TORX SCREW came from their mechanic shop they can't do anything for me. The mechanic looked at the tire and said that due to the torx screws placement I need a whole new tire, a patch job wouldn't do. Which they told me I had to pay $35 to patch it anyways. I told them I came in for an oil change, not a new tire. I asked if they could give me a discount on a new tire. They said no. They said I could get 40% off if I buy FOUR new tires, but wait...they didn't even have my tires in stock. I asked if there was anyone else I can speak to who would have the authority to give me a discount that Firestone ISN'T ALREADY running due to the circumstances. The mechanic said, "Honestly not really, no."This mechanic shop is garbage. I paid $120 for an oil change and I now need to spend another almost $500 on tires. Ridiculous. If this is due to poor cleanliness/tidiness of the shop or because there aren't enough staff for quality control then shame on Firestone. This is bad business. Also, hire less creepy men who DON'T bring up their moms and sisters when trying to sell brakes... Never going here or any other Firestone location again.I attached a picture with the screw in my tire. It's all beat up now because I was driving on it. From the gas station to fill up the tire, to home, then to the Lombard Firestone.Services: Tires, Oil change

Service Manager Bud and his team are very honest and highly professional! They were able to provide satisfactory response to our service needs during this past holiday season, even when they were super busy and some staff was on vacations.Keep up the great work, our best wishes for the entire team in 2024 and beyond!

Avoid this place at all costs!! They take advantage of female customers every chance they can get. They assume you don t know anything so they try to sell you a set of 4 tires instead of doing what you ask. Went in for a simple rotate and balance, left without that being done because they are too incompetent to complete a simple task. on my way home from Firestone, my tire fell right off my car while I was driving!!!! They put my life and my family s life at risk because they don t know what they are doing there. Go anywhere else but here!

I came to get my oil changed as a younger female and always feel lost. The guys here were so trustworthy and i didn t feel like they were trying to upsell me- though they could ve with my ignorance to cars! i really appreciated how nice they were and how thorough they were at explaining things. it s super clean and quick, i m excited to come back for new tires. thanks team!:)

It was a on time delivery; I am highly satisfied with Store Manager Ed; Services Manger Bud; and Stephen.When I had the services yesterday, it was a extremely busy Saturday 1/20/2024 at the store.The firestone team at Lombard was so efficient in scheduling and at the front counter. So they made my auto care job order completed within a time frame of 3 hours.It was amazing! I really appreciate their team work. I came in a few hours before closing. Manager Bud was able to fix my car within the hour. He was very courteous and friendly. Hewas able to explain what the problem was .

If your car has any rust, per their corporate policy they might not install the tires for you. Very upfront and would have been a good price though. In hindsight i would have put my car on blocks and just brought in the wheels to be mounted and balanced if i had thought of that sooner.

Terrible. Went in for a flat tire. They fixed it but two weeks later my tire almost came off my car while driving on the expressway. All five lug bolts were so loose the I took them off by hand. It tightened them myself.

Requested tire rotation with oil change just to find out that I had been paying just for nothing. My tires have never been rotated by the lombard branch.Called the store and Jim the service manager was rude and very unprofessional. For 2 winters I had a slow leaky rim. 2 other places could not find where the leak was coming from. FireStone, Lombard Illinois, fixed it on the 1st try. Saved me the cost of an expensive replacement rim. Thank You Bud, and Thank You FireStone!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!! Eddie helped us out in a pinch. My splash guard came off driving in from Michigan and he got us in and out and gave us a quick fix without charging.. On a Sunday would definitely recommend getting your vehicle serviced here. The best in Illinois

Got referred about this Firestone Lombard from another location. They were right about how great of mechanic skills here and Ed, the Store Manager. Ed is very professional, considerate, polite, and takes good care of customers. The Service Manager, Anthony is good as well.My car had issues with the serpentine belt. I was not waiting too long as what I expected.When my car got done and I was about to leave, they (Ed & a mechanic guy) came out to point out under the hood and explain what was replaced and finished in front of the building.Very nice people, great experience and services.
