I can t say enough positive things about Dave and Areawide Automotive. He is honest, ethical, and has never failed to deliver great service at a fair price. Services recommended by my Lexus dealer proved unnecessary and way too pricey. Dave beat the dealer s discounted price to implement a repair by 60%. In addition, issues highlighted by the dealer for proactive repair proved unnecessary and are just typical of a car with 130,000 miles. This Lexus model can go 300,000 miles or more, and AreaWide can get it there.I highly recommend AreaWide Automotive.

JayneM. I ve been going to AreaWide Auto for many years now and I can t say enough about the quality of service they provide. Not only is Dave super knowledgable about everything car related but he s also completely honest and his prices are more than fair. He ll never try to sell you anything you don t need and always uses quality parts and products on your car. It s rare these days to find this kind of service so I wouldn t go anywhere else!

Dave at Areawide Automotive is the most honest and reasonably priced auto mechanic I have ever used. I will never take my cars anywhere else. Several times I have taken cars to Dave suspecting an issue and expecting a repair bill to be informed that there wasn't an issue that needed repair or the repair was something minimal. That has never happened to me in my lifetime until I started going to Areawide, and I am in my 50s! My husband and I have serviced our family vehicles with Dave for over 20 years. Last week we added another vehicle to our fleet for our sons. Dave held our hand and provided through inspections of multiple used cars that we were interested in purchasing. Yes we bought one and yes, Dave has already placed new tires on this car! Dave has always listened, has patiently waited, and has always provided outstanding service! His level of experience is hard to find and his prices are reasonable and fair. If Dave says that it needs to be done, believe him and do it! Your car and your family will thank you for it! Will we do business with him again? Well, let's just say that in the next 6 months we need to tune up two cars and install new timing belts and water pumps on them as we roll over more than 100,000 miles on each car. Could we buy new cars? Yes. Do we want to? NO! Thanks to Dave we don't have to! Call Dave, he can fix it! I totally recommend him!

Dave is very thorough & honest! His prices are fair. He gives a time frame of how long you can drive it before it may need a particular part replaced. We have used Areawide Automotive now several times, for both of our cars. It is so nice to know that you can trust your Car Mechanic. Dave is such a nice person. He even worked on our car after his normal work hours, because he knew we were going out of town. And his pricing is very fair. We will keep using Areawide Automitive and have recommended them to our family and friends.

Recently bought my first car and had no clue about car maintenance basics. Dave and Danny patiently answered all of my questions and pointed out relevant information about my car. They gave me helpful tips on how to change a tire, like not putting your foot under the car in case the jack fails and to, at least for me, invest in a better breaker bar. I am so grateful for their professionalism, time and expertise.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Dave (owner and master mechanic)...honest and trustworthy. Need I say more? I will....my family and I have been taking our cars here for years. Truly a great guy and a clean waiting area and shop. And if that weren't enough, honest, dependable service at a very fair price!! Can't ask for more!

Dave the owner always helps me with major and minor repairs does great work and tells you if any problems your not aware of with your vehicle. His mechanics are very friendly and courteous. Great place to have your vehicle repaired reasonable rates

Honest and Great Service is what I received at Areawide Automotive. I had a coupon for one of those national chain repair shops for a $14.99 oil change. After having my car in the shop for an hour and a half, the manager came out and told me I needed front and rear brakes and about $800.00 dollars of other work and the car wasn't really safe to drive. I felt a little uneasy as he was trying to push all this other work. I told him to just do the oil change as I wanted to get a second opinion on the other stuff. He then became rather rude and told me to have a seat while they put my car back together. I told my father about what this place told me and he suggested I take my car to his mechanic, Dave, at Areawide Automotive and have him inspect it. After the inspection Dave brought me into the shop to show me my vehicle. The brakes were only about 50% worn and he only found a couple of minor things it needed for about $150.00. I learned a valuable lesson. I will now have all my repairs done only at Areawide Automotive. Thanks from Megan.

Honest, affordable, knowledgeable, good communication and easy to speak to. Meaning, they don't make you feel uneasy or silly for asking questions.No pressure to address additional issues or upsell the repair you need.Essentially everything I look for in a qualified service center.

Dave the owner and his team are awesome. Always do great work and if there's any problems after the work they will be happy to try to re fix which happens like never. Fast, efficient, and friendly. They won't just try to upsell you here. They will only tell and sell you what you need. And they will do it at a fair price too. Most mechanics will charge you an arm and a leg, these guys are fair and real.

Areawide has maintained my family's vehicles years. Dave and his team are second-to-none in customer service. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, earnestly answering any questions that I may have. In addition to expertly handling major repairs, if possible, they won't hesitate to recommend a variety cheaper solutions while clearly explaining what kind of performance I can expect.Areawide is a an absolutely fantastic shop that I trust and is a great pleasure to do business with.

I originally took my car in to the Hyundai dealership where I was given a laundry list of items that had to be replaced for $2550! I called up Dave and gave him the list. His price was $400+ cheap for the items. He suggested I bring it in and have him look at it to see what really needed to be done. Of course, I didn't need all of the items the dealership wanted to do to the vehicle and I ended up saving about $1,200 off the total from what the dealership quoted. I dropped my car off the night before and everything was done and the car was ready to go before I even got off work the following day. Dave and Andrew are great guys and they won't rip you off. I have had no problems with the repairs that were done and my car is running great!

I had a great experience here. They were very straight forward with me. I needed my brakes done on the cheap and they never once tried to up sell me. They gave me all my options. Full replacement of brakes and rotors, brakes and cutting existing rotors or just a brake pad replacement. Like I said I needed it cheap so I just did the pads and that's exactly what they did. I checked around and the price was certainly fair.I would come here againEdit: I decided to expand on this experience even more. When it came down to the final cost of the pad replacement and i took out my card, to my surprise the final cost was nearly exactly what he quoted. I wanted to also mention the parts were quality not some cheap junk. He also asked if I would like to see the old pads, so I could see for myself that I did in fact need new brakes badly. He also did one other thing that I think is just a cut above. Since I decided on my own not to get the rotors cut, I asked what the drawbacks to that could be? He told me that you could feel a wobble at high speeds, possible squeaking or premature pad wear but he test drove my car when he was finished and he didn't see, hear or feel any of those so i probably didn't NEED to get the cut anyway. I ask you, what mechanic would say this to a customer??????Good honest ones.

I first heard of Areawide Automotive from a group on Facebook. Everyone was recommending them and I didn't really have an auto repair shop that I went consistently to and could trust so I decided to give them a try. I have brought my car to them a couple of times now and they are great! They are so nice and their prices are very fair! They are an honest repair shop and I would highly recommend them to anyone! :)

Best mechanic around! Dave always knows how to fix whatever problem is going on. You can really trust him as well. He never tries to sell you on other things and he's even gone out of his way to fix some stuff on our cars for no charge. He's a good guy.

My CRV 2006 had a strange noise when I drove it these past couple of days. I kept up with all the maintance on the schedule and didn't know what the heck was wrong with my car. I became scared to drive due to the noise! A few of my friends' cars are still in shops due to the Aprl17,18 storm and flooding, so I was very nervious.Anyway, I found this shop online and decided to make a call to check it out on April 24.I talked to Dave and he told me that his shop was packed up untill next Wednesday (May1) and he only can take a test drive and possibly identify the problem. After a 5 minute test drive, Dave confirmed to me that my car was in good shape and only need to remove a corroded piece in the bottom of the transmission. He even did not charge me for service or diagnostic fee!I was so worried before came to his shop and was ready for some serious maintenance/ repair (with cost) and now I feel so relieved.Dave and his team members did a great job with great customer service. Honest, friendly, and courteous. I definitely will use Dave's service in the future and recommend his shop.Thank you for all previous comments. They were very useful in me deciding to take my car here.

Finding an honest and competent mechanic is is one of life's most daunting tasks. Anyone engaged in this search does not need to look any further than Areawide Automotive.Dave and the gang have been taking care of both our work fleet of vehicles and personal vehicles and we could not be more pleased. When we bring a vehicle in for service we know that we will get an honest diagnosis, a fair price and quality work all done in a timely manner.This gem of a business should be your first stop when your car won't start.

Great honest service. I was told by several other mechanics that I needed a whole new engine, these guys figured out it was a simple cap that was broken. Car was fixed fast and cheap, they even do a free consultation before they start to fix anything. Car has been running great ever since. Will definitely be taking all my future car troubles to these guys!

We have been going to Areawide Automotive since it's beginning. We used to go to Trep's where Dave, the owner of Area Wide was previously from. Dave is an honest and reputable mechanic. He has always been up front and told us what needed to be done or if we could wait to have something done. He always tries to fit us in and anytime I had an emergency he has been there for our family. He has never steered us wrong or overcharged us for anything. I reccommend anyone who is looking for a great mechanic to go to him and let him fix your car. It is the only place we go with our cars..

My experience was great! I took my wife's 1998 Honda Accord for a catalytic converter after failing emissions. After going to my usual place and getting an estimate of almost $700 I decided to do some price checking. Most just looked at the year, make and model and gave estimate from the computer. The car's catalytic converter was welded in place instead of clamps so Dave at Areawide got the car on the rack and looked over the situation and estimated $300. When I came back to pick up car I was pleasantly surprised and Dave said he didn't have to replace one pipe so it was about $25 less. Since then I have taken my son's car there too. I have another two cars that I will be taking to Areawide for service when they need it. I'm a customer now.

I get flat tires on my riding lawn mower frequently. I called Areawide to see if they could repair them. They told me to come right over and were able to seal the tire well. I have used there services several times and they are always very friendly and pleasant and the tires are always as good as new and can be used when I get home. They have saved me a lot of time and money on repairs and new tires. I would highly recommend them
