Had tires installed on my Mitsubishi Outlander. Noticed scratches on all of them in the same spot around the rim. Called and talked to Jay. He told me to bring it in so he could look at it. Showed up there, he looked at it and pretty much said it wasn't from them when they were fresh scratches on the rims. He brought me out to the shop and showed me the duck head on the machine, and i felt it, and it was rough and sharp all over. He pretty much said its not their problem its mine, and i can buff it out. Very unprofessional about it. I then took it to another tire shop, and they also said yes, that mark is from the duck head of the tire machine. Which i already knew this from black rims on another vehicle being scratched by a tire machine years ago. I will definitely never do business with Mavis again.

A big thank you to Jason. A few months ago my son had what I thought was a blown out tire after he ran over something. It was freezing out and we needed to be at an event within an hour. The shop had many cars that they were working on that day and Jason told me it might be at least a couple of hours before his guys could get around to my son's car. I explained the situation to him and he took it upon himself to fix the tire for us while tending to the customers as they came in and out. Jason told me the tire was still good and repairable (always appreciate integrity). Within a half hour he had the tire fixed and the car waiting out front for us. All this at a very low cost. Thanks to Jason we we able to get to our event on time. He took care of us in a pinch and I truly appreciate it.

This is my third time here for service and it just keeps getting better. Every one here is so professional and polite. Shout out to Felipe, Andy, Dale, and Jorge who all did a great job on keeping my favorite car going.

I recently got new tires, brakes and rotors here. Jay worked with me to get a great deal after I received an outrageous quote from the dealership.I dropped it off in the morning and the service was completed in a couple hours just as I was told. Everything has been feeling and working great. I ll be taking my other vehicles here going forward.

I went to Mavis for the first time on 1/20/2024 for an oil change. The gentleman that greeted me was very nice and also professional. After a short wait they took my car in where Dan did my oil change. He did a great job! Everyone that I was greeted by was very professional and nice. I will definitely be back for my next oil changes :)

Came here without an appointment because I got a nail stuck in my tire. Was greeted by Jason and he was able to attend me right away and got my tire repaired in less than 30 min. Good price and good service. Definitely a 5 star place.

Ultra professional team that had a new set of tires on my car in less than an hour. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Prices were also the lowest for tires that I've seenDidn't push the upsell too hard which I appreciate.Hopefully I won't need to soon, but if I have to get new tires, I'm going back there

My husband and I were extremely happy with the service and every aspect of our visit there for new tires. Jay and Dan are definitely dedicated to doing the best at their job. We sincerely appreciate their help. The new tires were ordered and put on in no time at all, and the vehicle inspection was a great service too. We will definitely continue to use Mavis for our vehicle needs and maintenance in the future.

Good people, fast and excellent service.Jason & Jay are always very helpful.Been going to mavis to get maintenance done on 2 vehicles for 2 years now. Never had any issues. Highly recommend!Helped me out of bind when something fell and landed on my mazdas protective cover and couldn't get it out myself.

The service was prompt and efficient, and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They quickly assessed the damage, recommended a suitable replacement tire, and had me back on the road in no time. I Came to Mavis Tires here in Lockport they give free tire pressure check...they are so helpful and amazing Jay is the store manager & Dale very helpful..I definitely appreciate their service and will tells others to come check them out

Oil change and new tires were completed in the time a dealership takes for just an oil change.The tires weren t in the original plans, the Kay and Dale explained that it was really necessary to replace the tires asap. No pressue. No scams. It s my go to shop. If you haven t been here yet, swing through.

Had a nail in one of my tires. Called and spoke to Jay, was super easy to make an appointment. Had to call back numerous times to reschedule due to logistics with a young family and being without a vehicle. Location was very understanding and accommodated. Work completed quickly, was affordable and convenient.

Jason and Jay are the seriously the best! I ve had two different instances with nails in my tires and they got me in right away. They are extremely patient and very understanding. They are my go to guys with all my tire issues!

Jason was amazing. I came in on Sunday morning with tire lugs unable to get off during replacement of 4 tires from Thursday evening. He kept me informed of the process in a timely and professional manner detailing the process. As a female who doesn t know anything about tires, he kept me at ease without speaking down to me. The whole team was exceptional from start to finish. My vehicles will always be serviced by Jason and his team.

I brought my car in Saturday to take care of a tire issue. These guys said they took care of it. Drove off and the problem persisted. Called Sunday and they said to bring it in Monday. Came in Monday, told me the guy who should look at my car will be there Tuesday. I came in Tuesday and I was told that guy was working Wednesday til 6 and Thursday til 8. I told the guy at the counter I will be in at 5 on Thursday and we shook on it. Came in today and waited til 540 for them to look at the car. Guy test drove it and said he didn't hear anything. I asked if they could humor me and rotate the tires. He said not today the tech didn't have time. I can't keep playing this game folks.

I have been going here for years. They offer free air to fill up your tires and they will even do it for you. If they re not busy, I get all of my oil changes and new tires from here. They are great. Since I don t know much about cars, it s nice that they explain things thoroughly and make me feel comfortable there !

Men put air tires for free.Said thats why there here ,come anytime.They are sincere and appear happy to do it.The man today let me watch and explained how to see air pressure on door of car.I still can't catch on and he said they would do it anytime. Such a kind group of men.Thanks Mavis! Please check this business if you need tires .I certainly will.

They have scummy business practices because they know a customer is more likely to pay when they are physically in the store than walk out after spending the time to schedule an appt and show up to the store. It's as if I went to a sleazy dealership.Was quoted a price for a tire change because I hit a pothole and got a flat tire. Said it's X amount but let me give you my personal discount. Went back and forth with some tires and I asked if this is the final total. He said there's a labor fee for installation. That's fine. The final total was more than a couple other places I called but I went with them since they were closer. I also didn't know there would be an alignment fee or that it was necessary.A few days later my car was taken in. After the tire was changed and I found out about a "necessary" alignment and added fee the employee was defensive and argumentative when confronted.I was annoyed because why was this not mentioned during our first conversation? I don't care about having to pay more, I just want them to be clear from the beginning what to expect to pay and for what.So I asked him if the alignment was necessary. He said yes. So I asked why this was not mentioned before hand. He said he would never mention an alignment because it was only a tire change that I was buying. I told him when we talked the other day i said it was because I hit a pothole. He said I never talked to him. I said I never talked to you or anyone in their store? He said i talked to corporate when I ordered the tire and that corporate would never mention an alignment because I only purchased a tire change. That went on for a minute and at this point I knew he was just being defensive and argumentative because my call logs were only with the local store, not thru online or thru corporate, and the alignment was simply not mentioned or recommended because if I'm physically in the store I would be more likely to go thru with it.If something is necessary with a service, it should be mentioned prior to a service. If he's willing to lie straight to my face then why would I go here?It's just a typical scummy business practice. He knows it is and he knows I know.It's alright though. They got 100$ extra out of me today but imagine if he was transparent from the start and i kept going back here for all sorts of services? You would have made way more than 100$ Jay.

I had an automotive emergency with my tires. Felipe was very concerned and professional. I was also on a time crunch due to work. Felipe told me he could have me in and out within 45 and he did just that. This my go to shop for all things they service with my car. Thanks to Felipe and staff!

1/28/2024Hit a pothole and noticed a bubble in my tire, this was the closest tire shop that was open (they closed in an hour) the guy at the front desk understood my problem and immediately helped me get back on the road.Being willing to help so close to closing and not trying to upsell me when I was in a tight spot made for a very good experience.

a recognition to Felipe for his great help in giving me information with the tires of my car and thanks to him I realized that my front tire was loose and about to come off, that saved me from a terrible accident on the road and the best of all this is that he was able to help me in Spanish which is a plus for the entire Latin community. Great customer service and community support! Super-appreciate Lockport Mavis taking a very old tire we'd found abandoned in the woods behind our home. They gladly waved the disposal fee for the one tire and seemed as happy as I was to get the tire into the recycling stream!

We bought two new front tires and when we left the shop there was a shimmy in the wheel and a vibration, we took it back and the mechanic took the wheels off and inspected them, they had to add more weights to the rims for balancing the tires, when we pulled out the problem was resolved to total satisfaction! We are happy for theyre great service! THANK YOU JAY

The The gentleman that took care of me Jason was outstanding in courtesy knowledge, reassurance, and left me feeling like I wasn t just a dumb woman again they did the work so fast I m very, very pleased. I will come back here for anything that they are offering to do for my 13-year-old car. He s great. He needs a lot more than a pad on the back. Thank you.
