Situated on old Route 66, in an ideal location for Litchfield and the surrounding area. It was convenient for local food options and a Walmart.Room was ok but not super tidy. Carpet needs either a good clean or ripping out.We did book a 'dog' room but this is no excuse to give people a room that is not clean.Breakfast options were fine.I'd likely stay here again if in the area, but it would be nice to see a little more pride in the place.

This was a great place to stay. My husband and I loved the room. It was more luxurious than we expected, though I wouldn't call it a luxury suite it was very close to the one's I've stayed in. I would stay here again and would recommend it. It was the best place we stayed in on a weeks vacation.Rooms: The room was special, above the normal Quality Inn.Walkability: It is near the heart of Litchfield's shopping, within walking distance to Walmart, Aldi, and numerous restaurants ranging from romantic to fastfood, pretty much anything you would want is within a mile. Even so it was quiet.

I stayed five nights returned to area for a class reunion and to see old friends and family. My room was clean the staff was always friendly and helpful. They are doing some renovations so parking lot had materials under tarp but they kept it well maintained. I have seen some reviews that complain the facility is showing it age that's why they are doing renovations. I was out of the hotel during the daytime and never heard or was bothered by the work going on. I will definitely stay there again on the future when returning to the area. Why pay a higher price just to be a few blocks closer to a noisy interstate.

This hotel is terrible. We showed up and we were given 3 rooms that smell like smoke. The man at the first desk said that the hotel use to be a smoking hotel however this was an over baring smoke smell. The showers are not hot, not even warm and the beds are probably harder than sleeping on the floor. $60 dollars a night is too much and that s really saying something towards the quality.

Gross. I could barely open the door to my room. There was something in the floor that lifted it or made the carpet swell. We got into our room and got things situated so I took off my shoes and the floor was wet and disgusting. I put my shoes back on and went into the bathroom to to find a giant cockroach, the ceiling paint was coming down and it smelt horrible. The hotel employee sprayed for bugs WHILE we were still IN the room. I would have preferred to not let my 2yo get near those chemicals. Thankfully we got a new room but that one smelt like mildew too. I do not recommend this hotel.

The place is nice and the rooms are nice. But the lady at the front desk was incredible snide and rude for things as simple as us checking in. Rude looks, passive aggressive comments, acting like it is our fault that out door knob came off our bathroom door after we were extremely polite about it.During the night hours they had a sweet old man at the front desk and he was more.than happy to help. Whoever the day lady was needs to take a page out of his book and be nicer to customers. Especially ones that are in no way being rude to her.

Please read* The hotel is located in a decent spot and is functional. However, you have to take in consideration surrounding environments. It is the furthest hotel from the highway, has a horrible entry point, & parking lot in the back is gravel with big pot holes. NOW for the hotel itself... the employees were nice, but the room, hallways, and elevator all stunk. When we got to the room it smelled horrendous, the closet was literally just exposed 2x4s, the water came out orange for a second in the bathroom, and there was hair inside the sheets. If you consider that there are many newer hotels in the area, I would never recommend staying here. The price point is not worth it in comparison to other local hotels.

This place was such a let down. Lady at the front desk was SO rude, and after reading LOTS of other reviews, we weren t the only ones that thought that. She should be fired if you want to stop getting these unsatisfied reviews. I tried to pay over the phone, and they said my card didn t go through, and I d have to pay at the desk for an extra $20, but when I got there they already had my card on file, which means they lied to get that extra $20.Within the first hour of being there our door handle fell off the bathroom door. And on top of everything there was a big nasty stain on our blanket, facing down, so we didn t even see it until morning. We had paid for two night but we re so disappointed, offended, and disgusted we left after the first night. Would not recommend to anyone.

The hotel is under renovation, which is ok everyone needs to update. I thought the hotel was ok until we reached our room.. the bathroom, top blanket cover and main cover before the sheets had so many pubic hairs . We unfortunately showed up late with littles, slept with sheets only and left super early. Didn t want to test out breakfast if that is how things are cleaned. Definitely the worst stay I have had in a while, when commuting we always go through choice hotels.

$15 charge for my dog, I was expecting it to be more. Hotel grounds were clean and had a gazebo with a grill on the side of the building. Pool looked so inviting. Room was clean. Room was warm so turned the heat off but the room never cooled down. Bed was hard as a rock and you could hear all the springs whenever I moved. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Booked a room, but attitude was so poor by staff, that we cancelled it.Something struck me as suspicious about the check in process. I went back the next day to assure that my credit card had indeed been credited for the charge. The manger had that same nasty attitude, so then I realized where the employees got it from.ATTENTION. Corporate managers should audit this facility!

Horrible, horrible experience! I can't believe this place has 3.9 stars! I had a reservation with the Baymont and they gave my room away so the only one available in this area was the Quality. The only room left was a smoking room. I had to take it because there was no where else for myself and my two kids to go this past Saturday. Other hotels were booked due to the State Fair in Springfield. Once I arrived at the hotel for check in the front desk clerk didn't seem like she wanted to be there and seemed irritated I was even checking in. It was late and I needed someplace to sleep and didn't bother to check the room before paying. My kids and I went up to the room and of course it smelled like cigarette smoke bad, which I expected. I had to clean the filter in the ac unit. It was completely clogged and black. There was no latch for the door. At least I was able to deadbolt it. The sheets were filthy, the carpet was filthy, and the comforter was filthy with cigarette burns in it. I immediately went back down to the front desk and the attendant was no where to be found. I yelled hello numerous times and there was no bell to ring. Finally after about 10 minutes the clerk came in from outside and very rudely asked if I need help. I said I need new sheets because the ones that are on the bed are disgusting. I also told her the comforter had cigarette burns in it and she said, you are in a smoking room and rolled her eyes. She noted the room number and grabbed some new sheets for me. I definitely will not stay at this hotel again.

Overall this is definitely not a place you would like to stay. The rooms were not clean and the beds obviously had stains on them. Two of my family members woke up with bug bites so there was definitely some type of bug living in the hotel rooms. The rooms were very damp and musty. The staff was very friendly but there was no choices for breakfast food. I was told that when the machine for waffles was empty it would not be refilled. Yes this hotel is not very expensive but please spend your money elsewhere it is not worth it.

Every staff we encountered during our stay was unpleasant. They seemed bothered by our existence. How dare we check in, ask for our trash be picked up, or even check out? Plus, my fridge clearly was not clean. The room was relatively clean, other than that. However, the entire ambiance is very uninviting. It looks like they started a remodel but never finished. The rooms seem freshly painted, but the halls are dingy and outdated. Also, the exterior of the building has what appears to be test swatches of paints and is about 7 differnet colors. If you just need a place to sleep, save $20 and go to another place. If you re wanting a relaxing time, spent an extra $30 and get a nicer place. Don t even think about wanting to use their tiny, murky, little pool. I got dirty just looking at it. Save your money or spend more, and just avoid this place.

TV didn't work and when I reported they said "Yeah we're switching them in rooms and must not have gotten to yours....". Okayyyyyy.....Breakfast "Buffet" was biscuits & gravy. No eggs,. potatoes, bacon or sausage even though they had the pans for them. They sat empty. There's plenty of options close by but this works as a last resort.

The most important thing to me was I wanted my room to be clean. I have to say my room was very clean. So whoever was the housekeeper for Room 105, you are awesome! The check-out and check-in was an easy process. I found for the price it was everything I needed. My stay was just overnight so I cannot evaluate any of the amneties, but if I ever need a room down that way again, I would choose to stay there.

Dirty rooms and unfriendly staff. Long hair littered the twin beds when we checked in. Could this be an issue with the laundry or was it simply not done? The floor looked like it was vacuumed with a broken machine or not at all. The staff was unwelcoming to boot. Hotel has smoking rooms mixed onto each floor with nonsmoking rooms. We expressed suprise about the smoking rooms and the lady at the desk got very hostile with us about discriminating against smokers... suprise... my party smoked. It's clear they are used to people being rude about that but you cannot assume everyone that mentions it is going to be nasty.

So far everything is great. More to come later. Some of the staff was less than friendly. Pool awesome, needs cosmetic work but everything else was delightful. Would go again in a heartbeat. Saw noBugs !!

First time experiencing bedbugs at a hotel. Only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the staff was very accommodating and apologetic. I was put in a new room on a floor away from the bugs that instant (it was 1 am when I saw them), and I was refunded for the night when I checked out the next morning. Other than that, the floors in both rooms were slanted in many spots, making it uneasy to walk a lot of the time, and the walls were cracking in some of the corners. Overall, poor hotel, nice staff

The pool was not cleaned(green tint), that was just the beginning of our poor experience. The front desk associate was so disengaged & unfriendly. When checking in, she was so unfriendly and uninterested in the process. The first stop we made was the pool. The pool was dirty. I was there for my daughters birthday so I was willing to look past that. I asked for pool towels, she threw them at me. We went to our room, and the water in the bathroom was brown when they went to wash their hands. The air conditioner was leaking onto our carpet. I went to use the pull out couch as my bed, there was a used and chewed up vape pen left behind and crumbs left in the pull out couch. Which, gave me indications that this portion of the room had not been cleaned. Giving this hotel another shot, I went downstairs asking for a blanket and pillow..I was informed there were extra pillows in the cabents in that main area (which I didn t check) and the blanket was on the pullout couch. When I informed the hotel manager there was no blanket, she threw a blanket on the counter.I went back upstairs, there was one pillow in the cabinetry area with no pillow cover on it. We ended up leaving this hotel room for another in Litchfield. Holiday inn express, which was much cleaner and accommodating.
