Very kind and helpful!! We stopped here as we were driving through on our way to St Louis because our car was scraping bottom. We chose here due to the good ratings. They immediately put the car on the rack. Fixed it and wouldn't let us pay!! Such a kindness!!!

Hate to do it, but after my recent services and myself trying to contact them to make it right, it has to be done.My family has been using them for years for most of our basic tire needs.Recently, I purchased a used truck and it had a bit of a wobble at highway speeds. I took it to Neal's to get a wheel/tire balance. Didn't fix the problem, so i moved on to get it diagnosed at a dealership further. They stated that the balance was way off, and proceeded to do an alignment and rotation along with a new balance. I didn't think anything of it then, because my wobble was still there, so i was just trying to think of what else it could be.I then purchased new wheels and tires thinking maybe i just so happen to have a bent rim/bad wheel. I then took it up to Neal's to have the new set balanced again.Still didn't end up helping my shake, but some co-workers told me to go get a "road force balance" done. So i took it to discount tire to try that out.Discount Tire did the new road force balance, but i asked them how bad was it. They said the road force was fine, but the previous balance was way off. They showed/informed me that only one wheel had weights on it, and the others seemed to not had been applied correctly. This struck me to remember that the dealership had said that the balance was off when they did it as well.I went to Neal's to inform them of this coincidence. I showed them all the receipts and even had Discount Tire do a report on their findings and showed them. I asked how did this make since and that I was very upset because I wanted to go to and trust a local place. The guy basically just kind of shrugged his shoulders and said sorry. I don't like to make to much of a scene, so i informed him that my family (fairly extended) would no longer be using their services and left. The guy just said sorry about that. No offer of a refund or anything more heartfelt.I want to like this shop and would of accepted any sort of better apology of some sort, but the fact that they couldn't get a balance right TWICE is un-acceptable. I'm not blaming them for it not fixing the shake (still trying to figure that one out), but the fact that two places that looked RIGHT after they did there balance said it was wrong/off/bad, just put a very, very bad taste in my mouth for that company.

I went to Neal's the other day to have a maintenance alignment and oil change. John was very detailed and thorough about the maintenance and work that needs to be done on my automobile now and in the future. I drove 5 hours to and from home after. Fantastic work!!! Very professional atmosphere. I will be going there from now on!

Woke up Thursday morning while staying at Quality Inn to find flat tire on the trailer, thank goodness across the street was Neal's. They took the wheel off found the air leaking out the valve stem. Needless to say they fixed it at no charge. Not enough good to say about this business we thank you from your Missouri traveler..

We had to get a tire replaced on short notice, after a flat tire on the way home from St Louis. Found Neal's and got excellent service from Shawn. Thank you so much for saving the day! And for sending us the backpack we left behind as well. We are so grateful!

I usually buy my tires and rims from these guys. They are very competitive with pricing and they do excellent work. True professionals. Recently my wife dropped of an atv tire to get plugged. Alot of places wont even mess with them cuz theres not much money involved. These guys fixed it and when i went to pick it up they said just a valve stem no charge. I realize thats only 10 to 20 bux. But the point they did it for frree because they said i was a good customer is awesome. These days its hard to find honest trust worthy mechanics. These guys are exactly that and there customer service is excellent. Another reason i will continue to buy my tires from them.thank you neil tire for being one of the few places that treat there customers right.

Purchased 4 tires and alignment. When I picked up the vehicle I was told that they could not do the alignment because it needed lower ball joints replaced. When I asked if they refunded the amount of the alignment they said it was included with the price of 4 tires so there would be no refund. I have since had my vehicle in a different shop and I asked that they specifically check the lower ball joints and offer their opinion. They said there was nothing wrong with them. I have since taking my vehicle elsewhere and got a proper alignment done and had the work that they did inspected. I would have taken it back there to have the alignment done but I figured if they were going to try to screw me on this I can't trust them to do the alignment properly.I would not have done business here this time. I had forgotten that a few years ago they replaced a boat tire for me that went flat a week later while fishing in Missouri simply because they did not replace the valve stem when they installed a new tire. The shop that replaced that valve stem for me shook their head and did it free of charge.I have done business with this place in the past and I've never had issues. Something has changed in the last couple years and this place has gone downhill substantially.

I can not say enough kind words about this shop and the terrific staff who work here. We were pulling a uhaul trailer and had a breakdown on the interstate. I was overwhelmed as we were pressed for time to get to our destination. We had to stay the night in a nearby motel and wait for parts. The staff did such a wonderful job of unhooking the uhaul for us, getting the new parts installed and I know that several staff became involved to help keep the cost down and get us back on the road as quickly as possible. Afterwards they hooked up our uhaul. I will forever be grateful for the kindness and excellent service we received.

Very great experience here. Customer service is awesome and they did a very thorough job. Went to have new tires put on and they told me about my brakes and fixed them on the spot. It did not take long at all.

Wife and I were traveling from southwestern Missouri to northern Illinois. On the way, our low tire pressure light came on. Stopped at a rest area and pumped it up, but it came back on shortly after. Made it to Litchfield Wal-Mart, they tried to help, but didn't have the tire we were going to have to replace in stock. Mentioned Neil's, gave us the number. We called, desperate by now, but they said they did have the tire in stock, only one, and would try to fit us in. We made it to them, and they did amazing fitting us in right away (they seemed rather busy), and got us back on the road in less than 20 minutes! We really appreciated the effort to fit us in and change the tire as quick as they did!

Just a shout-out to the nice folks at Neal"s for taking the time to check our car on our trip from St. Louis to Milwaukee. We stopped there with no appointment and they checked the car over due to a noise we were hearing.It turned out to be nothing but bent tire rims, but gave us peace of mind. We really appreciated it, thank you!

We were on our way to a baseball game in St. Louis when our car starting acting funny. We pulled in to Neal Tire and Auto in Litchfield and Joey came right out to help us. He was friendly and courteous. He fixed the problem in no time and we were back on the road. Thank you so much for the great service!

This place will take advantage of you. They didn't even drive the car to test it, threw in some unnecessary parts, and charged me way too much without fixing the original problem. I took the car in several times to give this place a chance but they did the same thing each time and I'm very happy to take my business elsewhere.

After rotating my tires this past fall, a Neal tire tech (Claude) told me that my rear brakes probably should be replaced before the winter time. I told him that Neal had installed the last pair and he said that they would be replaced free when the time came. When I returned this Spring for a rotation and to have the brakes replaced, I spoke to Claude again. He told me that his manager, Travis Hartsook, had just informed him that lifetime brakes only meant that they were guaranteed against defects for as long as you own the car. Claude informed me that he was unaware of the fact, himself. I asked to speak to Travis. After much debate he turned his head to Claude and stated "I'm not going to sit here and argue over brake pads, just throw them in for free." Just a side note...I called Barry at the Shelbyville location and asked about lifetime brakes. He told me that they would be guaranteed against ware and defects as long as you owned the vehicle (non-transferrable).When I returned to have the work done, Claude told me that his computer system only went back a few years and that if I did not have the receipt, they would need the date and amount to pull up the receipt. I gave them the date and the exact amount of $214.69. However, when they pulled the receipt (from a different room), they were able to find my debit card receipt for $214.69. However, they could only produce a work order for $30 worth of that amount for an oil change. They then said that the brakes were not worn anyway. They refused to replace the brakes. To make a long story, longer...between tires and maintenance on all of my family's and my vehicles over the past 12 years, I've probably spent around $15,000 at this site. As a result of this pitiful display of customer service (which probably equates to $50 worth of parts), I will not spend one more penny at this place. I still have 3 and soon to be 4 drivers in my household. Taking my business, elsewhere.

Tires and an alignment on my truck...tires are good. First time they did the alignment they didn't tighten the passenger side upper A Arm camber bolt...second time they did the alignment they snapped off a wheel stud and never told me. Won't be going back. Ever.

What a fabulous place. Had a blowout on I55 at 11:00pm. Spare put on by AAA. 4 new tires installed by Neal Tire by 9:30am and back on the road...

This is the only place I take my car for any need. The guys there are friendly, they have quick results when looking for a problem. I like the honesty I get when they tell me about my car. They really are there to help you!
