Rocky at V & R is great!! I've always been one to get repairs done at the dealership on my newer vehicles, but then I received an estimate on new brakes from the Cadillac dealership that seemed outrageous. I read reviews and decided to call V & R, and I'm so glad I did!! I had my daughter's, then my brakes repaired here. Rocky was super fast, did great work, and saved me a huge chunk of money. On top of all that, he was courteous, provided excellent customer service, and did not attempt to charge me for extra repairs or upsell unnecessary work. V & R Auto has definitely earned my loyal business!

Incredibly happy with their work and dedication to figuring out problems! My car had a problem where the steering wheel leaned to the left and I thought it was an alignment problem so I originally took it into Mavis and they told me it was an alignment issue. I brought it into Mavis again after the first alignment and they still claimed it was an alignment issue, which didn't fix the problem at all (plus they left oil and grease marks everywhere on the driver's side door). Finally I took it to R and V and they found out the steering knuckle was the problem. My car is driving normal again! Very happy with them and the would highly recommend this shop! Thank you so much guys, will definitely come back!

My wife and I have been taking our cars to V&R Tire ever since we moved from Chicago to the Lisle area in 1985, around 38 years ago. Over the years they have done repairs and routine maintenance for us, and we have bought tires and batteries from them too. Rocky and his staff are great. They are honest and take pride in doing good work. I recall one occasion when I thought my car had a problem, and they could have taken advantage of me, but instead they explained that in fact there was nothing wrong (which was indeed the case). Their location next to the Lisle train station is ideal for commuters, as they can drop of their car in the morning, take the train to the office, and then pick it up after returning in the afternoon. The only place I'll trust that my cars are in good hands is V&R. Rocky is a kind but effective worker; and their prices are low for the quality they provide. Highly recommend!

I will literally not take my 2011 Honda Accord anywhere else. Even when I move out of town, this is the place I'll be taking my car. Rocky has amazing customer service, he's trusting and I always feel extremely taken care of. Their prices are very fair and I know they'll alway do a phenomenal job!

BE AWARE - total cheat and rip-off! I hit the curb and I was told I only need lower control arm. I was charged enormously high for replacing single part. I was told almost 600$ for not even 2 hours of the job that was done completely wrong, because of incorrect assessment! Because of that, the part that was installed on my car got damaged right away (picture attached - damaged bushing). At the end they torqued bolts to my tires so hard so one of the bolts got damaged. I went to them with inquiry of job being done wrong and I was told I need new tires and everything be fine! This not only would add the cost to my expense, but wont fix the issue! Be aware of fake reviews of this shop.This place will rip off your packet and damage your car. FYI: Before you will decide to leave your vehicle at this place, visit other shops and mechanics and ask for second opinion/inspection, check the price of parts you need in AutoZone. Then do comparison, make a conclusion and you will realize what this place is about.

Thank you to V&R for getting my wheels prepped for powder coating and then getting them on the truck and ready for us to go on vacation! You came through as you said you would!!Always taking care of his customers.

There's no one I'd trust with repairs to our fleet of vehicles then Rocky and his team at V&R. The guys get it right the first time. They are very reasonably priced and very efficient. The feed back I get from our techs that operate the vehicles V&R works are all positive. I would recommend Rocky and his team to anyone seeking honesty and great prices regarding their vehicles.

Rocky and his crew at V&R are always a pleasure to deal with. I've been taking my Fleet of delivery vehicles to him for over a year and have had him do some work to some of my personal vehicles. They never fail to deliver and always look out for me. If you're looking for an honest and reliable local mechanic, V&R is the place to go. Great work, reasonable prices, and the overall atmosphere of the shop is welcoming. Thank you for everything! 100% recommend and will continue doing business with them in the future.

We ve had V&R take care of our cars for over 15 years and never disappointed. Rocky and his team have proven to be honest and trustworthy on advice and service for all our cars. Our fleet of Molly Maid cars are also serviced by V&R. It s nice to have a reputable automobile service firm to do business with and here in Lisle.

I recently brought a tire here to see if I could get it patched and my car also needed a battery replacement. They let me know my tires were bald (I had already started shopping around tire prices so this wasn't a surprise) so I ended up getting the tires here instead of putting it off. They had very reasonable prices for tires and the battery install and the labor were very fairly priced as well. Overall very happy with the service quality and speed as well as communication before the work was done. Will definitely be bringing my car here for future work and have no problem recommending V & R Tire .

Quick, reasonably priced service with friendly and accommodating staff - very dedicated to customer service.Rocky (owner) was able to help me plan around my schedule in order to get my car in and have a tire examined. He was able to help minimize the time I needed to miss from work.Because of his efforts and care, I opted to get a tire rotation and have the oil changed (I usually have this done at a more local shop) and I was very pleased with the price and how quick the service was performed (~ 1 hour total for tire repair PLUS both services on a BUSY day).I highly recommend Rocky and his staff.

Excellent service and follow up. I've been utilizing V & R since moving to Lisle in the fall of 2001. I highly trust Rocky and his staff! I am a pretty fussy guy and take great pride in my cars, and I highly recommend this business!

I had an issue with my 2004 Sienna and Rocky knew just what to do. Great work for a very reasonable price. Staff is very knowledgeable and don't waste time getting you back on the road!

This was an honest service thanks to Rocky. Brought my 2000 pontiac and they fixed my brakes FOR THE CHEAPEST!!!! Midas and other shops were charging me $600+ this shop was the lowest charging me around $250! I am definitely coming back!

Finding the right auto repair shop ranks up there with finding the family doctor. Rocky and the crew at V & R Tire & Auto Repair are A+++ for service and integrity. When my vehicles need service, I don't waste time surfing the internet for deals. I call Rocky.

Horrible costumer service. I am so upset. I bought 4 new tires 4 years ago and when I took one of the tires off to see what was the cause of the flat, there was a patched up nail in it, to which I have only had 1 flat tire (about a month ago) on a different tire (and no they weren't rotated so it's not in a different spot). I haven't had any other tires fixed since getting the new tires. I called them and explained what happened and instead of trying to help me in my situation, Rocky said "that's impossible, we would never do that. You must have gotten it fixed somewhere." I am appalled. I would know if I had a flat tire and had to get it repaired. I am so upset by the costumer service here. All I want is some help.

they should have no stars ratings. right here in black and white, the price is 46 bucks to replace this. when i go to the shop, they want to charge me 51.76 for the part and 99.00 labor. so this is some kind of relay from krypton or such. does anyone think this is fair. when i showed the guy owner, he says i don't know where that came from, or who put that on the sight. i tell him its right in front of his face. you want to get charged more than 3 times as much, be my guest. i paid 112 for a muffler hanger that i knew i better get, i cant get on the ground and do stuff like that anymore. so this straight up and honest place charges me 28 for the part you can get at autozone, oriellys, any where for 10 bucks or so. then another 80 bucks for labor, it took me 20 minutes the first time i replaced this. 112 bucks this owner charged a disabled veteran. i told him i have to wait till my check comes in, yeah, right, could care less.. he was going to rip me off for 588 bucks to fix my window, but didnt check the drivers window like i told him, relay switch, and the muffler hanger. DO YOUR HOMEWORK, CHECK THEM OUT FIRST. this guy got so mad he said he was going to get pulled off of here, i say good, thats the only good deal to come out of this joint.

V&R always comes through. Expertise, kindness, and fast work, but not at the expense of quality. Rocky manages his techs well and it always feels like family. Customer for life.
