Diehl is easily the best auto repair shop that I've dealt with in my 61 years. I'm not a car guy at all, and in the past at some other places my inexpertise was taken advantage of. But Diehl is rock solid and trustworthy, and my wife and I have relied on them for years. As a minister I literally thank God they're in the neighborhood.

First time visiting Diehl Auto in Lisle this past Friday and the experience couldn't have been better. Greg was upfront about pricing and work recommended. Gil, who is at the front desk was very friendly and superbly helpful. He was knowledgeable about all things related to cars and not only. I felt welcomed as a first time customer and definitely will be returning in the future. Thank you!

I've brought more than one of our cars to Diehl on a variety of issues, from normal maintenance to larger repairs, and have always had a good experience. The maintenance and repairs have all been done well, the team is informative and communicates well, and I have always felt that the work was done at a fair cost. I highly recommend Diehl.

I have been using Diehl Automotive for more than dozen years. I use the Lisle location where the staff there is easy to deal with. Gives recommendations for service with fair pricing, which are consistently less than what the Dealership would charge. Good shop and would highly recommend them.

Diehl auto repair has some of the best customer service that I ve experienced, they are also extremely knowledgeable and able car mechanics. After having my vehicle worked on they for sure have earned my loyalty, I presented them with a tough challenge and they got it diagnosed and fixed in a very timely manner. They run a great establishment with great employees!

This company was and has been completely bogus. After bringing in my car for a lock cylinder change - I was also told the hourly rate would go up for bringing in my own part - they proceeded to take apart my steering column and ultimately not fixing my car. They quoted me 1300 when I got it fixed in a day for $200 elsewhere. My mechanic said it's likely they caused the problem in the first place. They repeatedly blamed my cousin who simply replaced another small part and didn't touch anything that he allegedly broke. Would maybe go for an oil change but there are no true mechanics here at this shop.

I wish I could give 10 stars. Gil at the Lisle location is always awesome to work with. He is really friendly and also honest about what is going on with my vehicle. Rick at the DG location told me that I should take my car to the Hyundai dealership since I was likely a candidate for a free engine replacement under the 100K warranty. He was right- I got a whole new engine. I wouldn t have done that if he hadn t suggested that. All of the people I have dealt with at either location have been wonderful. Their prices are more than fair, and my oil changes never take more than 30 minutes. My husband and I are very loyal to them. Thank you guys!

What a great experience! I had trouble with 2005 GMC. I dropped keys in overnight drop box & car in lot. By 10:30 Monday morning they called with diagnosis and I picked my car up at 5:00.Gil is the best but everyone in the business was pleasant. Clean environment as well

We've taken our cars here for the last couple of years, and each time, they provide quality service. The rates are decent and they work diligently to get the car back you. I also feel they are honest and I trust the repairs they recommend.

I followed Brandon (mechanic) from another repair shop. I feel these guys are honest, upfront ( even if not good news) and will only tell you to fix what you have to and not take advantage of you. I would highly recommend them.

Got an oil change. They gave me a large estimate for over $2200. for repair work that wasn't needed. I will never go there again. Anyplace that trys to pulls a scam like that, probably does subpar work. I wouldn't give the 1 star but Google won't let me post unless I selected a star.

Let me say this first, I have a lot of friends in the automotive industry, so naturally I'm very untrusting, it's the nature of the business... But NOT With this shop AJ, Greg, and their whole team are OUTSTANDING professionals, extremely compent, and go way beyond any automotive repair shop I've found to date, they tell you like it is and don't try to upsell you with a bunch of stuff you don't need like MOST shops do and especially the stealerships ALWAYS do. ( if they say you need it, you do, you can trust them.) They have been taking care of my parents vehicles for many years (30+), ALWAYS they have done excellent work and at a reasonable/fair price. That being said I took my '07 trailblazer there for a almost impossible to diagnose electrical issue, they found the issues, fixed them (there were multiple).. and my truck is now home and running great and on Budget, on Time, with EXCELLENT communication throughout the whole process!! They have earned my TRUST, LOYALTY, and RESPECT, which I have to say is no small feat!Mad RESPECT to Diehl Auto Repair, AJ, GREG and the whole crew. This is how a business should be run, and is at Diehl. They care about their customers, and their community which in this day and age is uncommon and RARE.They do it all and have the state of art tools, equipment, and most importantly the knowledge needed to service today's (nightmare engineered IMHO) vehicles. They go above and beyond and their customer service is second to none! If I could give 10 stars I would, I'm only sorry I didn't listen to my parents and take my truck there sooner...(you'd think at 53 years of age I would at least listen to my parents..still hard headed)FANTASTIC JOB GUYS!! 5***** in EVERY SENSE OF THE MEANING.THANK YOU!!

Diehl Auto Repair is so trustworthy and does excellent work. That's hard to find in an auto repair shop. They are very knowledgeable and don't push you into purchasing things you don't need. They tell you when you are close to having to do other maintenance and leave he decision up to you. Their communication is excellent. The best repair shop I have found. We take all three of our cars here and although they have tons and tons of cars coming in, they really know each one of my cars. Best shop around!

I just got my son's brakes done here. I'm telling you now, you won't find a better more reasonable and honest mechanic. Not only did they do a wonderful job on the brakes, but they found a screw in the tire and a problem with it burning oil. They did the oil change for a VERY REASONABLE PRICE and rotated the tires for us.Long story short , I found my new mechanic place. Period.

Calling around to find a new mechanic can be frustrating which is why I was so happy to go with Diehl Auto- Every time I spoke with an employee, they were friendly, polite, and informative.We chatted about repair recommendations and pricing and I agreed to have them do the work.They did a full brake job and alignment on my vehicle and everything went according to plan.Happy to recommend this team

These guys are knowledgeable, trustworthy, professional, and have great customer service. Their prices are very fair and they don't try to rip you off for extra things they are not necessary. I had my car repaired here and they knew how to work well with my insurance company to minimize what I had to pay out of pocket at the same time getting quality parts. Updated October 27, 2023I recently needed new brake pads and rotors and the job was completed as per their estimate. I love it when great service is consistently practiced! I even lucked out with the timing because i was able to use a 20% off labor cpn! It's totally worth signing up for coupons with them!Their customer service has been tip top in my experience with them over the last 3 years.#################Updated 4/28/23I still go here and I am still pleased with the service here! This business received many good reviews on Yelp & Google, which prompted me to make a visit.I was not disappointed! Beginning with my initial phone conversation with Eric to make an appt and then at the store with Greg, they were courteous and professional. My car was inspected and Greg delivered the assessment and what service was needed for the repair, along with cost. I felt I receved the facts and there was no upsell attempt like there can be at some places and esp. atsome dealerships.The parts come with a specified time warranty which is 24 months for my particupar parts. Not sure if it's all car parts.I will definitely be returning for any future car needs!

Diehl auto is the only place I'll take my car. The workers here treat me with respect and don't talk down to me (as a female, that has been my experience in the past at other auto places). But not here! I'm treated like a human being! Prices are fair. They don't try to nickel and dime you.It's never a good time to have car troubles. But the people at Diehl Auto make it a nice experience because they treat their customers with respect.Thanks for always taking care of my car needs!

We started going to Diehl in Lisle based on the great reviews they received & we have not been disappointed. We will continue to use them for any other services our automobiles may require.
