My family and I have been taking our cars to Great American Tire for many years now and have never had a bad experience. What I appreciate most about them is that they are incredibly honest compared to other mechanics I have used in the past. Their pricing is also very reasonable. Based on all of this, I refuse to take my car anywhere else as they have earned my continued business. I d also like to mention how professional and knowledgeable Nicole is. What a pleasant experience it always is communicating with her. They are very lucky to have her! I HIGHLY recommend these guys.

Have been going there for all of our tire and car maintenance needs for close to 20 years. Can you name any other business that you have supported for that long?Always courteous, friendly and never had any issues with work performed. Just good business ran by good people.

This is our go-to for maintenance and oil changes for years now. They have always been honest with what kind of repairs are needed now and what can wait. If you're looking for a great auto shop, I will always recommend them.

After going to Raymond Chevrolet in Antioch for so many years, I decided to switch when my service writer at Ray moved to Kia. I was referred to American Tire and Auto by my dad and was equally impressed with the customer service, pricing, how quickly they got my car finished, and everything they went over step by step on what was done to my car. I will definitely be coming back for future car repairs and oil changes. Thank you American Tire and Auto for all you do!!!

Great American Tire is our go to for all car repairs and has been for at least 15 years. Really don't know what we'd do without them and don't want to find out. We rely on them for their expertise and fabulous service. I cannot say enough about them. Thank you Great American Tire for always being there for us. You rock

Very knowledgeable and helpful. I had broken lug nuts and wanted spacers and new tires installed on my jeep. They made sure everything fit properly and had very good communication throughout.

They are honest and reasonable priced. If something is not necessarily needs to be done unlike any others. Paul the owner is very knowledgeable. I remember when we were hearing a noise in our car, and they couldn't find anything. Paul took some time and drove with me. He heard a noise and asked if that was the noise that we were hearing. It was and he had a feeling what it was therefore brought the car up on the lift and there was a rock stuck. From that they have earned our business and wouldn't bring our cars but to them.

I called and spoke to Paul (the Manager of the facility) asked if he could look at my car because my steering wheel started to vibrate a little. He told me when to bring it in. He inspected my car told me what he found. He told me that we d monitor the car (it s 16 yrs. Old) but that I could drive it and not worry. Honesty and Fairness and Expertise is what you want when you need something done that is important to you. That s what you ll get when you go to Great American Tire & Auto. I highly recommend them!!!!Thanks Paul, to you and all your mechanics and service people!

Took a week to get an appointment to get my car in and I can see why. Great prices, great service, friendly people. Fast repair with no sneaky upsells or games. Wish I had found this place years ago.

I ALWAYS go to Great American Tire in Lindenhurst Il., for ANY and ALL my SUV issues..From great tires, oil changes, engine repairs, brakes, and even let me know if something needs attention in the weeks or months ahead..Nicole works at the counter, setting up appointments etc and that girl/woman, besides being very courteous knows her stuff about the repairs too !Paul and Tom are the best at explaining things to me and the mechanics are great.I always leave happy knowing my SUV is fixed And at a reasonable price..

Would normally give five stars but a little disappointed this time. When I made an appointment for my oil change and tire rotation, I asked if they could change my license plates I was told absolutely. They never mentioned that it would cost $20. I would normally do it myself, but recently had two knee surgeries And kneeling, or squatting, is an issue. I am a long-time customer and thought (shame on me) that there would not be a charge. I was quite surprised when I got charged $20. I commented that it was not mentioned when I asked about it. They still charged me. I ll still continue to go there cause they do a great job and I ve never had a problem all the years I ve been going there. This just kind of ticked me off.

Went for an oil change, very straightforward and friendly service. No unnecessary up charges. What cost me $200+ at the dealer cost $80 here. Will definitely continue getting my car serviced here.

Paul and his daughter Nicole have always been fair and done work for my family. Just shipped a transmission across the country and Paul got it in there running right again. I believe they are the go to mechanic in the area in my opinion.

Update: I have been back several times and continue to be impressed. I highly recommend them for just about any repair work. Great work at fair prices!This was my first visit to this shop. I had new tires installed on my 2007 Jaguar XK as well as an oil change. Excellent and friendly service! I was able to schedule a time to bring it in online and then wait for the work to be completed. Although they were continuously busy, it was well organized and they were on time with my work. I am definitely going back!
