Yesterday my teenage daughter was traveling and got a flat tire on I55. I called around and Neal's was the only place in town that had the tire she needed. And they were able to put the new tires on within the hour. They were busy but knowing I was a bit stressed being so far away with my daughter traveling, Cameron squeezed her in. If you are a mom of a teenagers you know how much I appreciated the ease and caring service Neal's provided for my daughter. Thank you so much!

I'm so thankful to have a place like Neal to take my car to for repairs. They don't over charge and if its something that can wait to be fixed they will tell you that. Also they're the cheapest place around to get your oil changed. I have and will continue to recommend Neal Tire

My wife takes her car here for everything, they are great. I don't have to worry about them trying to sell her something she doesn't need. They always try to work her in the best they can, and they always get her car fixed up right. One of the last automotive shops that looks out for the customer bc most seem to look for money only. I really appreciate how this place is for my wife, takes the stress of worrying if a shop is going to try to sell her blinker fluid out of my mind!

If I could give them no stars, I would. I made an appointment on a Thursday to get tires and a ball joint put on the following Monday. I dropped my car off and within a hour they called me telling me they couldn t find my ball joint, okay not a huge deal. They got it put on the next day. Two weeks later my front right tire started sounding like my breaks were rubbing so I went to take off my tire only to see that they cross threaded 4 of my 5 lug nuts on that wheel, so now I ve gotta replace my lug studs, only to find out I can t just replace lug studs on a Honda, you ve gotta replace the whole hub assembly, ($500 without labor). Thanks neal tire. I wouldn t recommend this place to my worst enemyServices: Tires, Steering & suspension repair

They were great.Took care on my damaged tire.I was on my way in about an hour.Thanks to the retired lawyer who stop to help us put the spare on and lead us to Neal tire an auto repair.There are very nice people in this world.May God bless him.

Had decided to go out of town to get tires. I needed 4 for my Kia van. I had a good exprience with Kenny. I sent my husband over with my son's car to get 4 new ones after it had a flat. We booked an appointment and they said they had 4 tires on Monday. By Friday of the same week, husband went back for the new tires and Neal said they sold 2. WTH! Husband won't go back. Disappointed.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

I've shopped there for years & have always been satisfied.Yes, there's been issues, over the years, but the management and staff have always tried their best to remedy the situation and take care of any problem that has arisen.Stop by & see if they can help you with your tire, alignment, oil change, brakes or other mechanical needs.I think you'll find them to be good service at a fair price.

Not fair on prices at all, I recommended that my elderly mother get work done from them until they told me how much they going to charge her. So I did a little bit of research so I can buy a radiator fan for $52 online. They're trying to charge her $552 to buy and install a new radiator fan. I looked it up its literally 8 screws and two plugins for a radiator fan. So that mean they're charging her $485, it only takes a person 25 minutes to do the work. I will not recommend that anybody come to this place to have work done. They are not fair price. I recommend that if your going to have work to do the research and find out how hard it is to have the work done you're wanting. I'm going to do the work for free for my mother that saves her $485 especially when money is tight right now in the Lincoln community. If it take their mechanic that long to charge $485 then they need new mechanics.Service: Electrical repair

Nancy was absolutely wonderful! Our family is moving from northern Illinois to Arizona. On Wednesday we had two blow outs on our 5th wheel, the second one happened in Lincoln on the interstate. Thursday morning my husband called and they had tires in stock. I have to say they were busy and not sure what time it would be done, which I completely understood. A couple of hours later Nancy called and said we were ready to go. Neal tires was efficient, honest and affordable. Thank you so much for helping us get back on the road!!Service: Tires

These guys are great. My family and I were driving through on the way to Arkansas from Wisconsin, when we hit something that caused the undercarriage of our car to become loose. These guys fixed it up. Everyone was super friendly, they talked to us, tried to find cartoons for our kids and gave them suckers. Overall, it was a great experience and I d recommend this place to anyone if they re in or around Lincoln, Illinois!

Took car in for my new tires to be put on and alignment. They didn't align" because I had brake issues in front and back#. They weren't supposed to be at back of car. Never had brake problems. That night brake light came on. Two days later had NO brakes at all!?!? But an 800. Estimate from them handed to me at time of new tires put on. Will never return.

I dropped my car off and called in while I was at work to let them know I needed a tire plugged and the valve stem replaced in that same tire. When I went to pick it up they had only done the plug. They did the valve stem for free a few days later for the misunderstanding. Also had a decent price on the plug.

I was on the road when I had a belt separate on one of my old tires attached to my vintage Mercedes. This was 4 :40 PM (they close @ 5)I Googled them and called.A pleasant voice answered, took my info (they had my tires in stock, gave me a price over the phone, and guided me from the freeway to their shop.Owner/service manager took care of us personally. We were charged a competitive price, and were back on the road in 25 minutes .This is American small business at its finest!

While traveling from Milwaukee to St Louis I was having a tire issue. Googled places near lincoln, il and this place came up. Got my car in right away fixed my tire and got me back on the road. The people were very friendly! Would definitely recommend to everyone!!Service: TiresService: Tires

Needed to get our SUV tires inflated to the proper PSI and a young mechanic came outside and inflated them professionally and more importantly freely

I have been dealing with Neal Tire and Rod for over 35 Years. I keep coming back because they do a good job on time at a fair price. They also report to CarFax (A good thing).

These guys (and gal) are great! They found a small screw that had broken off in my tire causing a very slow leak. They had to submerge the tire for 2 full minutes to find the problem! They go above and beyond to fix the problem!

Friendly and efficient! We had a flat on 155 and brought them our tire. I called and they said they would get it done when we brought it in. They had it mounted and balanced in 20 mins.

I've been to Neal Tire in Lincoln twice. Note that I do my own work, except when I'm missing a large tool like an alignment rack or hydraulic press.The first time, I needed an alignment done on my older muscle car. When I picked it up, the tech who worked on it informed me that he had to apologize for burning the tires off when he pulled the car out of the shop. I didn't care (it *is* a powerful car), but that may be something relevant to others. The alignment was done to spec, so at least the work was done right.The second time, I brought a lower control arm in and asked them to press in the new polyurethane bushings for me, as I did not have a hydraulic press at the time. When I went back a few hours later, the polyurethane around the edges was all beat up and mostly missing (basically they broke the part that prevents lateral movement in this performance part). Apparently they had hammered the bushing in instead of using a press like I asked. When questioned, they said they took several hours to do that, and they were giving me a deal by only charging me $45. I noted that I have a hammer; I brought them in to be done *right*. I paid the money and informed them that I would never be back. Then I bought a hydraulic press and new bushings so I could redo the work myself.Maybe they're good for changing oil or tires, but there are other shops around that care about their work which I'd pick first. And I would not suggest anyone else take their vehicle to Neal unless the other shops in town are all closed.

100% honest and nice place here. They have treated my father with honesty and fairness and now they have treated me the same way. I will not go anywhere else. Thank for being so kind to the local community.
