While traveling home to Michigan from Nevada, I had a leaf spring bracket fail on my toy hauler on a Sunday morning and Mounts Auto came through big-time. Not only was he the only one open on a Sunday, he got me in within 10 minutes of my call and had me on the road shortly thereafter. I wanted to mention my appreciation to have found a very capable mechanic with excellent customer service and recommend anyone needing repairs in Lincoln IL to definitely look him up. Mad respect bro, thanks again. I certainly appreciate you.

our alternator went out five hours into a week-long road trip, and we were so lucky it happened right by mount s automotive. the car died in the middle of the night just down the street, mark helped us push the car to his driveway and let us park overnight, then got us up and running in no time the next morning so we could get back on the road. went above and beyond to get us taken care of, beyond fair pricing, got to hang out and play fetch with his dog until we were set :) we couldn t have been luckier with where this breakdown happened !definitely better than the world s largest covered wagon

Mark has gotten our vehicles back up on short notice now a couple of times and has done an excellent job every time. He's straight with you on what's wrong and didn't talk down to me about how my car worked which I always appreciate. He was very transparent about the cost of parts/what was fast vs what was more cost efficient, and what he quoted was what I paid. Would absolutely recommend every time and will always take my vehicles to him.

Quick, helpful, and friendly service.We came in from out of town with a misfiring cylinder, and they got the necessary repairs done within a few hours the next day. They went above and beyond to help us out. Thanks so much, Mark and Aiden!

Mark was beyond exceptional. This past weekend when I was traveling down through the Lincoln, IL area to get to Missouri my car unexpectedly broke down. This happened late in the morning and when the tow truck dropped my car off Mark got right to work on it. In only about 2-2.5 hours Mark had replaced my alternator and a few other things that he found (with my permission). My car unfortunately broke down a few days later but Mark sent me a picture of the receipt with the alternator warranty so I was able to replace it. I really am appreciative of Mark and what he was able to do to help me get back on the road. He was professional, he was fast and he has the goodest of boys for a dog.

I locked my keys in my car at 6 PM. He had my keys and my car started by 6:28 PM. He was very nice and professional answered the phone the first time I called and he only charged $40. I ve paid hundreds to get my car unlocked before. Very nice and quick company in Lincoln Illinois

I had an amazing and very helpful experience. While driving to Saint Louis my car stalled out and they were able to locate a part and have it replaced later that day. I had to be back in Saint Louis, so I took a train into Lincoln the next night. Mark was very kind and picked me up from the train and got me to my car. I was very lucky to stall out nearby Mounts Automotive due to how helpful, kind, and skilled they are.

The mechanic was very kind and helpful, repaired my vehicle for a very fair and considerate price!!! I highly recommend Mounts Automotive, he's very kind and will not charge an arm and a leg to repair your vehicle. Very honest and dependable, I know where I'm taking my vehicle for future repairs!!!

Unbelievable mechanic, incredibly honest, helpful, and extremely fast. I've utilized him three times in the last year from issues such as a malfunctioning windshield wiper to a substantial oil leak.Every time he has diagnosed the issue within minutes on the spot, and fixed it completely within a day while matching his estimate exactly.Cannot reccomend highly enough.

This is the only HONEST mechanic that I know! I've brought my vehicle here a few times in the last couple of months and just about every time he assures me that work is not needed. I'm a single female and I've been taken advantage by other places for this very reason. Mounts Automotive could have charged me for stuff and fixed things that didn't really need fixed and taken a lot of my money in the process, but they didn't! The work that they have done, didn't cost much at all. Great people, great prices and great work but most importantly is that this company is HONEST. This is a smart choice for your automotive needs

Mark was amazing fixed what I needed for my car to work ASAP and I was back on the road with minimal cost and I'm very thankful due to it being the holidays. I will be back if I ever have any more issues with my cars in the future!! Very satisfied and confident that job was done the best quality!

A truly hidden gem! Was in town and was recommended to try Mounts. If your vehicle is in trouble look no further. I set up an appointment with in 2 hours. Showed up early. They took me in early, They fixed the issue and showed me how to maintain the problem. If your in town give Mounts automotive a try.

I was on a work related round trip from Texas to Wisconsin when my Nissan Xterra broke down in -11 degree weather. It needed a new thermostat and a cooling system flush and replenish. It was on a Sunday morning at 7:00 a.m. when it happened. I called Mounts Automotive based on all of the positive reviews. Mark arranged for a cab to take me back to my Hotel room while he completed the repairs and then he came and picked me up in my Xterra when he was finished a couple hours later. Mark is an honest and very good man who Owns the best Automotive Repair shop around with excellent prices. I will definitely recommend Mounts Automotive to anyone anywhere near Lincoln Illinois. Thank You Mark your a life saver.

Took my suv to mount this morning around the 10:30 am diagnosed me on the spot and had my car back to me by 3:45 pm. Did amazing work in a timely manner. Highly recommend!!!

I drive a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze LTI had an oil drip pan repaired at Lincoln Chrysler Dodge jeep for about $800 the Friday before Christmas. Then I brought it back Tuesday because it looked like there was another leak. I was quoted another $1610.94+/- in repairs to fix a timing gasket cover on both sides of the engine that was leaking coolant and oil, and to repair a leaking thermostat housing.I was devastated. I was looking at options to either ride the car till the engine stopped or to get a new one.I took it to Mount Automotive and had Mark take a look at it. He quoted $740 to repair everything above and to even change out the water pump for me as it was old and could be a source of a leak.Upon picking up the vehicle today I was notified he even changed out the oil in the car to make sure none of the mixed fluids while working on it got inside and contaminated it.Because of Mark I didn't have to get rid of my car, and will go to him for future business! He even warranties any of the work he does on it himself.Here's hoping nothing else is wrong with my car I don't know about, lol.

Got to my car to unlock it in only 5 minutes. Charged abt 75 dollars less than the local toeing company. I 100% recommend them.

My truck was making a lot of brake noise. I took it over, Mark looked at it ordered the parts go me right in and fixed in a hour. Mounts is reasonably priced and Mark does great work. I would have no problem having anything fixed by Mounts !!!!

We were traveling from St. Louis to South Bend, IN when a warning light came on. We pulled off in Lincoln, IL and the local AutoZone sent us to Mounts Automotive, as it seemed our alternator was about to give out. We called ahead and Mark had the part waiting for us. We literally chugged into his garage with a dying car and the fear that our weekend plans may not happen. Happily, Mark had us pulling out of his shop in exactly one hour. He charged us less than half of what the closest Honda dealer quoted me (we wouldn't have made it that far anyway!) His shop was clean and we spent an enjoyable hour playing fetch with his dogs. It's people and businesses like Mark that restore your faith in humanity. We highly recommend him and are thankful that he took such good care of us.

Outstanding. My mom had traveled here from Minnesota to see me on a Saturday and needed to leave Monday morning again. Well, when she arrived her car was making a terrible noise and it definitely was not safe to drive much further!!! She was very worried about not being able to find someone to look at her car before Monday. But Auto Zone in town told us about this shop so we called and they took it in right away on Saturday and worked until after dark to fix it!Great people, great service, great price, what more can I say!Services: Auto brake repair, Brakes, Brake service & repair

Car broke down a few miles to Lincoln on a Friday night. These guys were able to replace the radiator in a couple hours on Saturday morning. Very reasonable price and friendly people! Would recommend.

Got aftermarket headlights & tail lights installed on my challenger SRT. Mount did an absolutely amazing job, he got me in the same day, had great communication, took before & after pictures, and made me feel safe having my car with him. I've heard nothing but great things about him and his work from my friends, and I will be returning to get future work done to my vehicles.Services: Exhaust, Installation

We had our alternator go out on us Saturday morning. We didn t think we would find anyone who would be able to fix it for us over the weekend. I called Mounts Automotive and Mark answered right away and said to bring it on in. He quickly changed the alternator and while he was at it he changed our headlight that was out. Couldn t ask for better service! We will definitely go back to Mark for our automotive needs!

Mark and his team seriously are THE BEST. Their prices are fair and honest, as well as their attitudes! This is the second time that I ve called and they ve fit me into their busy schedule immediately and fixed my car. They were able to figure out a mystery issue that was causing my car to not start, and fixed it within 2 days!! I am so grateful for this team as they are so welcoming , helpful , and such sweet people. I highly recommend amounts Automotive for any of your vehicles needs. Mounts Automotive is the BEST shop in town, as I ve had terrible experiences with every other place in Lincoln. I was passing through and my check engine light started flashing. I stopped at the local Auto Zone and they couldn't read the code so they sent me to Mounts Auto. I'm SO glad they did! They not only figured out the problem (fuel injector) they had the part in stock and got me in right away. It was a hot day so Mike got us some chairs and put a big fan on us too. And let me play fetch with his awesome pup . We were back on the road in just over an hour at a very reasonable price! If I had to have a problem, I'm lucky it was near his shop!!

We had an incident on the highway during a long road trip late at night. We were lucky to be pretty close to Mark s shop. Even though it was late at night, he picked up our call right away and was willing to take a look at the car despite how late it was. He was friendly and was able to diagnose and quickly fix the problem, getting us right back on the road. On top of all of this, he charged a very fair amount and made the situation as stress-free as possible. If you find yourself in a predicament, we would highly recommend heading to Mark s shop and you ll walk out way less panicked than before.

Alternator went out on the highway at 3:30. Called and they were able to fit me in. Asked for my VIN and had acquired the part before the insurance company s tow truck had picked us up.An unconventional shop, but they prioritized getting us back on the road. Their dog is sweet and loves playing fetch.From breakdown to back on the road, under 3 hours (and an hour of that was just waiting for the tow truck to arrive)
