We had a great experience at Napleton Mazda! Our salesman, Robert was very friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. He provided so many details about each vehicle we looked at and was able to help us decide between several options. Even when he was busy between multiple customers we felt that he was giving us all the time and attention we needed. We re so happy with our purchase and the service provided!

I have obtained 2 vehicles from this dealership. I am very happy with their customer service and follow up. All services to my cars were perfect with video and clear explanation of what was done. The sales personnel is outstanding. I was really happy with how the owner helped me obtain my vehicle and went above and beyond to move it from another dealership.10/10 would certainly do business again.

The folks at Libertyville Mazda have been pleasant to work with! Really appreciate them taking there time explaining the different features on the CX-5 signature model! After turning in my car and forgetting some items they did find and are able to return! A shout out to Marion and Steve for their patience! I got my Mazda CX5 in 2021 during the covid times. The customer service was beyond amazing. Today, I happen to visit the Customer Service for getting an issue resolved with my key fob. Mr. Joe and his team were amazing. They went above and beyond to get my issues solved in no time. They were extremely polite, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend their services.

Hands down this was the easiest and stress free car buying experience I have ever had. My husband and I went to look at a new Mazda to upgrade from my 2016 CX 3 and we had the pleasure of working with Dan P. He was incredibly knowledgeable and well versed in all the options on the market and if he didn't know the answer, he did not try to make it up, he checked on it to find out. We felt no pressure the day we looked. I spoke with him regarding wanting the Mazda Soul Red for the new car and he said he would contact us as soon as it was in. Dan provided great follow up and was easy to work with and made our choice for a new 2024 Mazda CX 90 PHEV easy to drive home with. Everyone at the dealership was great and fun to work with. They have my loyalty for sure.

This place is wonderful. I just bought a new 2024 from here and it was a stress free experience. No pushy salesman, no back and forth negotiating. Everything was straight to the point and they were willing to work with whatever I was looking for. Everyone there is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with. If you re interested in Mazda, this needs to be your first stop.

My fiance wanted to get a nice used hybrid for her daily driver. We ended up buying a 2014 Kia optima hybrid, the car is nice. Our complaints are with the con artist and horrible management team. We agreed we were okay with the online price of 9000 and the salesman went back to talk with his manager. We were never given any further paperwork or shown anything resembling numbers for over 2 hours our salesman only checking in briefly. This was a horrible experience. They knew this was her first time buying a car only under her name and took advantage of her. They ran her credit before every asking if it was okay or getting an application signed. Once they got us back into the finance office they rushed her through the paperwork and got us out the door. Only every saying that these are the numbers, your approved and where to sign. Only when going over the paperwork did we see the vehicle was sold to her at over $900 more then we had agreed to. This car had also been in 2 accidents and this was never disclosed to us before hand or brought up. I've sold cars before and I know the amount of trouble this can cause. We have discussed filing with the BBB over this because of the lies and betrayal of this dealership. I highly recommend going anywhere else.

Would give zero stars if I could. This place and the people I dealt with were AWFUL. Con artists and scammers, want the worst for their customers, withheld my money when I sold my car, and would not work with me. They also submitted my credit to ELEVEN different bureaus without my permission, dropping my credit score by a ton. I d come in for an appointment I had and they d be like oops this no longer works for us and send me away. Mazda sent me to other companies for help with problems Mazda was supposed to solve. They were very lazy, and never answered the phone. Would leave a message no one would return, they told me someone would call me on x date and no one ever did. This happen every week for months. I have never had a worse experience in my life. Do not go here. I d ride on the back of a skunk before going to buy a car here. Everyone here thinks they re so great and holier than thou but I was scammed into a 25% interest rate, lied to about the cost of the car, and then they illegally withheld my money. Managers got very condescending when I questioned them. They made snarky comments and said things that you would not expect from a professional business. Funny enough, when I asked for my money they accused ME of trying to scam THEM. They told me I was trying to get a bunch of checks and money from them. I was dumbfounded.They are a bunch of clowns and should be shut down. I cannot describe how awful they truly are. Seriously, go somewhere else unless you want your money stolen and withheld under the guise of being legal to do so .

Alex was a great Salesman who was attentive to my requests and helped me through the challenging process of buying a car. When I decided on a vehicle they worked hard to work to get the vehicle within my budget, actually below my budget! The paperwork was seamless as AJ had everything ready. It took less than an hour to get in and out after I knew what I wanted. Libertyville Mazda has my business as long as I drive a Mazda. Thank you all.

I m very thankful to Oscar, JC and Heather at Napleton. Heather got right back to me within hours to let me know the vehicle I was interested in was still there. I felt respected even though I wanted a used car, they took their time and made sure my cost was as reasonable as possible. There was no pressure to look at other vehicles. That was all Oscar and I am sure there s a better commission on a bigger price tag but he was 100% service oriented. When I can buy my next great new car I will definitely return to him!! Great experience.

Awful experience! Short version -- deceptive/dishonest practices and added expenses at the time of financing along with poor customer service and terrible communication.I attempted to purchase a car here with me as the buyer and my mother as the co-buyer since she has bad credit. Although the sales department was able to help us with a good price, everything fell apart when it came to financing. We spent 5+ days working through a deal where the interest rate changed multiple times, and right as we neared finalizing the agreement, we were told that the lender was requiring we get gap coverage through the dealership. This was explicitly against the terms of the contract (I read contracts for a living) and seemed fabricated to either get the dealership out of the deal or at least make extra money for them on the deal. Over the course of the 5+ day process, we were made to feel unimportant and a nuisance...like they were doing us a favor by helping us out with such a complicated deal. My mother was without a vehicle and had to keep extending a rental while they stumbled through whatever their process is.Once it became evident that this deal was falling through, we finalized a deal with a great dealership in Chicago within a matter of hours on the same model and year of vehicle but with less mileage and for less money. Apparently the deal either wasn't that complicated or the staff isn't equipped to handle it.

Alex is a superb sales specialist. Calm, knowledgeable and non pressure. Wise beyond his years. I know since I teach young adults. He paid attention to every detail. The only problem was waiting so long for financing agent. Not Alex s fault. I m very happy about my purchase.

I went in just to look at the Mazda CX-5 and see if it was the right car for me. I met Carlos Pineda who was so personable and answered every single one of my questions. I came in and was greeted and given a water. I test drove the car while he explained every feature. He made sure I wasn't wasting my money at all. I tried to give him a run for the money so I definitely put him through some hassel and he handled it wonderfully. I would absolutely recommend going to buy a car from Carlos at the Mazda dealership in Libertyville. Thank you so much Carlos!!So, I've had the car a couple of months now and the usb carplay does not consistently work. I notified Mazda about this and they stated they would have someone reach out to me to set up an appointment, however, that never happened. So, I made an appointment to have it fixed. They claimed they fixed it and now it completely does not work. The woman said that the usb gets loose over time and that is normal for a Mazda car. It is not normal. My satisfaction with the car and with the service have gone down completely. Will be scheduling another appointment tomorrow and bringing the receipt of the "part" they claimed they replaced with a "new part."

I brought my 2021 C-X5 into the dealship for service for a timing cover oil leak. After waiting 2 days for repairs I got my car back and was told leak was not from timing cover but residue was found on the cylinder head. Not proper diagnosis and not what I brought the vehicle in for. Brought car back second time for same leak and injected dye to find cause of leak but the service writer never followed up to bring car back So I called service advisor only to learn he was no longer with dealership. noone else, apparently, took over his case load.I brought car in a third time for the same problem and was told repair is not under warranty after 2 previous visits and many frustrating months had passed. I decided to call another affiliated dealership and they said bring it in and its is absolutely covered! I got car back from affiliated dealership and problem appears to be fixed. Different dealership location, same dealer, different outcome! After learning warranty work does not pay as much to the technician and dealership in general, than customer pay does, it appears to me that some dealerships are only looking out for themselves and not the customer. Beware where you go for good, honest service. All dealers are NOT the same!- Frustrated and Disappointed Customer

Had a great experience buying and taking delivery of a new CX-90 PHEV. Dan was a great salesman- found the car I wanted and drove through a snowy Friday Chicago commute to pick up the car so I d get it next day. Steve worked the deal to make the numbers work and Jayce finished off with the financing. Great team, super nice and willing make the extra effort to make the customer happy. Thanks Napleton!

While in the market for a vehicle, I came across one that caught my attention at this location. Given that I was 50 miles away from the place, I got in contact with someone there named Heather. Told her I was interested, so we made arrangements for me to come check out the vehicle. Mind you, I made myself PERFECTLY clear that I needed a guarantee that the vehicle would be available for show prior to me making the drive. She assured me it was there & was even going to pull it towards the back in order for it to be secure. I had no vehicle & a family member did me the favor of giving me a ride. Upon arrival, I was told that the vehicle was not available due to it being in service for detail & would not be available til that following weekend & I was presented with another similar vehicle that was in no way in working order. There was an evident problem with the engine. I was beyond upset that I was taken for a fool for their liking. This was for a 2014 Cruze. Thankfully I was able to get a better deal & service elsewhere. I ended up with something better than what I was looking for. Now in a 2021 Honda Civic.If this is their way of treating their potential customers, then I don't recommend anyone doing business here. Deceit is never a good tactic. Stay vigilant!

I love my Mazda, this is my 4th CX-5 and they always live up to my expectations. Napleton Mazda Libertyville has always been my Mazda dealership and they always take care of me. Juan Ortiz worked hard to find me the vehicle I dreamed of and the payments in my budget. Marion was the sweetest and made sure I was in and out as fast as possible while making sure my car was top notch and had everything I needed. JC explained my financing thoroughly so that I knew what I was signing up for and made sure I was taken care of. If you want a luxurious vehicle for a decent price with red carpet treatment, this is the place to go as you won t regret it!

I write this review on Feb 28 2024, and have a track day with my NA generation Miata in two days starting on March 1st. As any true track enthusiast does, I have left my work to prep the car for the track until the very last minute, which almost caught me out. I am just wrapping up work on a differential swap, and realized I did not have the sleeve that goes inside the differential the reamer bolt goes through to connect it to the PPF. Calling my local Mazda dealer, I find this part is retired, but Napleton Mazda was showing one part. Hop on a call with them and indeed, they do have the part. Shipped the sleeve to me two-day shipping, and it arrived yesterday a day early. I'll be at the track this weekend, and Napleton Mazda is a HUGE factor in me being able to do so.

They lied to us. We bought a used car from them, under the condition that the day after buying it they would change a pice from the engine that "had to arrive the day after". Right after paying the car, they say the piece was wrongly ordered, so they had to order a new one. They gave us the car with the engine light on, asking us to wait for the piece to arrive. It's been more than a month now, and we are still waiting for the piece...We also had problems with the tires. We got the car with very old tires. When we complained, they said they would send us prove of the checking they do to all their cars to show us the tires were well enough. They sent us a paper dated from the date after we took the car, with no information about the tires at all. We had to pay ourselves for new tires a week after buying it, since they never recognized the mistake.After they change the missing piece (if they do it...), never again are we going back to that place.

Title: Deceptive Practices at Napleton Mazda - Buyer BewareI recently had a disappointing experience at Napleton Mazda in Libertyville, Illinois, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn other potential buyers.I visited Napleton Mazda in 12/23 attracted by a finance promotion on the Mazda CX-5. After negotiating a deal and agreeing to a purchase price, things took an unexpected turn during the finance portion of the deal. The finance manager, Connor, claimed to save me money by reducing my monthly payment by $4 and throwing in 4 years of tire rotations and oil changes as a bonus. When I asked him how he was able to do this, he reached into the top drawer of his desk, pulled out a stack of coupons and said, "Like this."However, upon reviewing the finance paperwork later, I discovered that the duration of the financing plan was extended by an extra 3 months without my knowledge or consent. The extended term was not disclosed during negotiation or in any dealership advertisements. When I sought clarification the next morning, Connor admitted that the extended term was due to the inclusion of extras, a fact never mentioned when presenting the reduced monthly payment.Fortunately, I was able to resolve the issue with the manager's intervention and it took several days, a lot of calls and me being on top of it. However, this experience raises concerns about the dealership's transparency and honesty. I fear that others may fall victim to similar misleading practices.I urge potential buyers to exercise caution and thoroughly review all paperwork before finalizing any deals at Napleton Mazda. The integrity of the automotive sales industry should not be compromised by deceptive tactics like these. Also, I never received anything regarding the oil changes and tire rotations, so who knows if that was even real. And my mom loves my car, so I plan on taking her to a different Mazda dealership. Thank goodness Napleton doesn't own them all.

Sales representative forgot to give me back my drivers license and I live over an hour away from the dealership. Once I realized a day later I didn t have my license, I called the dealership to ask if they had the license. They did and they never called me to let me know that they had my license. They offered to mail it to me and also gave me the wrong time that service closes on Saturday. They offered to replace my battery but due to their error in times I am not able to do this anytime soon. Overall very frustrating experienceUpdate on this. They expedited my license and will help the best they can for my battery issue. Steve was very understanding and patient with me as well.

Oscar was amazing, giving a 2 star because we were promised and it s on our documentations that we would have 90 days of no payments only to find out my first payment is due tomorrow and nothing can be done. Not a happy customer and did not even try to provide any incentives for a mistake that was done on their end.
