Our experience was really great. We closed the deal with 2 small visits. My colleague was so happy to leave home in his new car. Omar and Daniel Rack did their best to send us home with a new car. They are the best!!! They deserve a 5 star rating!!!

I visited a total of 4 different Acura dealerships around the area before purchasing my Acura RDX. McGrath Acura in Libertyville was by far the nicest, cleanest and friendliest location I visited. I had an awesome car buying experience working with Juan Flores. Worked with him on 2 separate occasions and communicated in between those visits until I was ready to buy. Juan is very knowledgeable, friendly and has great communication skills. He also speaks perfect Spanish which is a major plus! Juan made sure all my questions were answered before signing and leaving with my RDX. Would definitely recommend buying from this dealership and working with Juan Flores.

Deen was also very helpful providing pertinent information about the car buying experience. This was a great car buying experience and I am very happy with the purchase of a new Acura Integra! Call on April 6 2024 to see if the car I was interested in was still available spoke with Vericona Stan and she made aware that the Acura was still available that evening but the dealership was about to close. I told her I would go on line and submit a credit application. Submit application Monday (April 8) morning made her aware that I was in Ohio and I would fly to the closes airport. Talk to the finance manager told me I was approved and that I would book my flight to Illinois later on that night. Call insurance company to add car to policy and submit proof of insurance to dealership which they received. Tuesday(April 9) call dealership to let them know that I would be flying in on Saturday at 7:00 a.m. which was paid for and no refund spend over $300 for flight and try to submit down payment over the phone. Saleswoman and finance manager seem very busy made several attempt to get a whole of someone all morning and afternoon and left messages. Finally finance manager call me that evening said that the transmission was slipping in car he lied to me they sold the car to someone else. On Wednesday (April 10) try to get in touch with Vericona Stan made several calls and left messages no response. Very unprofessional.

Worst place I have ever been into.Customer is their last concern.Their online sales manager called me and he said that the car that I'm trying to purchase is available in stock. I drove 35 miles to get there. The salesman that met me there tried to sell me a different car stating that ohh I made a mistake. We pulled the wrong car.It turned out eventually that the car was sold. And it's not available.Each department functions by itself. There is no collaboration. They wasted my time and they tried to sell me a different car. And their sales manager is talking about policies and stuff like that.What kind of policy? The policy that you don't even know, What you have in stock? And eventually. They offered me $200 for the car that I was trying to trade in.This place is a mess. You want my advice? Don't go there. Go anywhere else but there.I gave them one star because that's the least I could do. If there's less than one star, I'll do it.

This review is for the service department. Steven Weathers was my service writer. He was very knowledgeable and a pleasant to work with. I also met Juan the service manager. He is one of the nicest guys I ever met. He made me feel like family which was very comforting and I felt he really cared about me and the way I felt about my car. I had a few questions ( about my 2023 TLX ) so he introduced me to there mechanic Brian. Brian was very patient and understanding, knowledgeable about the car, and explained everything in detail to me and answered all my questions. I really appreciated that it meant alot to me. All 3 of these guys are top notch in their various fields! I highly recommend McGrath Acura of Libertyville. Thanks guys

I had a test drive with a young man named Andre and I must say it was a great experience compared to other dealerships. I tend to be an anxious person, but Andre kept conversation the entire time as well as answering any questions I had for him. Andre also did a great job of informing me of all of the cars features and abilities. I will certainly be back soon

My experience with McGrath has continuously been fantastic. I have been servicing my 2021 RDX there for years and just traded it in for a 2024. Talisa is amazing in the service department. Always smiling even at 7am! Juan Flores and Daniel assisted with the trade in. Their professionalism and dedication to customers is remarkable. Andre did a really good job helping me get into the new Integra A-Spec/Tech. We had some issues getting to the payment I needed to be at but his strive and sympathy for his customers shows he puts the customer before himself and helps out the best he can. If you are looking for a new or used car I would definitely recommend making an appt with him. The dealership is also very well put together.

I purchased a 2013 Honda CRV from them. While test driving we heard a noise and they had me fill out a WE OWE certificate stating that they will fix what the noise is found out to be. Everyone signed this document and somehow I was never given a copy of it, after they said they would put it in with my paperwork. Their mechanic said it was a wheel bearing and they fixed it. My mechanic said the wheel bearing was never replaced and the serpentine belt also needed to be replaced. The cost is a little less than $1,000 and I am a single mom and I do not have that kind of money, so now it is sitting in my driveway, while I make payments on a car we cannot drive. I was upset, as this is a car for my children, and they put their safety at risk and lied to me! They will not return my calls, or emails.

Trent Hosin made my car buying experience quick and seemless. He was patient and took his time explaining and providing me with exactly what I needed in a new car. I will also add, I had to bring both of my kids with me, and the overall feel and experience at the dealership even with them running around was great. 10/10 would recommend thank you!!

After driving several other brands, we purchased our very first 2024 Acura RDX A-Spec Adv from Mcgrath Libertyville. We worked with Juan Flores and Collin in finance, really a terrific, no pressure buying experience from start to finish. Acura in comparison, gave us everything we wanted in a new car and allowed us to come in way under budget for this purchase. Juan Flores, was a very knowledgeable product specialist and extremely patient and allowed my wife to play the audio system as loud as she liked. Our RDX A-spec is beautiful and she's enjoying the car.PS. Very clean dealership, waiting area, friendly people.ThanksRandy & Patty B.

These guys will say whatever you want to hear to make a quick sale but not deliver on their word. Go over everything with a fine toothed comb before signing anything.Me and my wife did not have a good experience here back in March of 2023.We decided to shop around for a new vehicle while waiting for an insurnace check to come through so we stopped into this dealership to check out a 2020 RDX A-spec and an 2020 MDX A-spec. The sales team told us that if we made a deal today that we could just sign the check over and send it to them once it came in. We decided to proceed with this offer and as it turned out this would not be the case. After we sent the check in signed over to them as requested, the ended up sending it back stating that they could not accept it. Libertyville Acura expected us to go back to Geico and request a new clean check (that was not signed) so we could process through our bank and send Libertyville a cashiers check. This turned out to be a 2 week inconvinience that could have been avoided if the manager would have done his due dilligance and checked into this before informing us with false information.We also spent more time than we should have re-negotiating with their finance guy because the numbers we went over with the manager did not transfer over to the finance office. They were trying to rush through a deal and rush us out at their convinience.The next issue we ran into was during the test drive. I asked the sales guy if this vehicle was FWD bias or AWD all the time and he claimed the vehicle was AWD all the time. After I got home I realized that this vehicle is not an AWD vehicle at all. I reached out to see if there was anything we can do to remedy this situation and the sales guy lied saying he stated that about the MDX that we test drove. I would have never even test drove the vehicle knowing it was just FWD. We felt stuck with this purchase knowing we overlooked this issue during the signing so we decided to bite the bullet and move on.The final issue (the last straw that led to this review) is after purchasing the vehicle we were told that we would get 2 free oil changes and that we can redeem them at any Mcgrath Acura. We decided to go in today at a closer Mcgrath Acura to us and they had to call Libertyville to verify the free oil change. Libertyville stated that we only get 1 free oil change which once agian is not what we originally discussed. This might be the matter of 1 oil change but here we are still dealing with the lies that we were told last March

I am absolutely so grateful for finding this dealership. I was looking for a first car and I found the perfect one thanks to Danny! He helped me find the perfect first car and I just love it so much. He was patient and just knew exactly what I wanted. He explained to me the details and the upgrades with this new model. Danny was funny and made the experience much more easy and quick. Very shady, do not deal with their finance department, they will lie to you to get any deal done and screw you over in the process. Pretty sad when a dealership cant even rectify their lies and issues when you give them the chance to do so! Going to be pursuing legal options reguarding my purchase with them, just wanted to warn anyone else that might end up here! Go get your own financing with a bank you can trust, the finance team at this place has no ethics or standards. Will update review once lawyers are involved to see if this place has any sort of accountability!

We just purchased a 2022 MDX from this dealership.I have to say the guy we worked with was great.Juan Flores is the person to deal with when considering this McGrath dealership he gets 5*However the dealership and other guys that work there have not been able to measure up to our standards at one point while negotiating one of them said to us that we want to I quote steal the car - rude and unprofessional that s why the 4*If you are considering this dealership do yourself a favor and go to Juan.He is professional, attentive, thorough and honest.If I were to come back to this place and buy another car it would only be with his help.

This experience was nothing short of anything but 5 stars. From the start with meeting AB one of their product specialists. To meeting with Daniel and the rest of the team who gave us a great price for our trade in. And even through the finalizing the paperwork McGrath was on point! I would definitely recommend this dealership!

Run away from this place. They cheat on prices and interest rates. We wanted to buy a new car and asked for a better price - they just increased our down payment to make the monthly payment lower. When I checked the numbers (price + taxes+doc fee+title/plates), subtracted down payment and calculated monthly payment based on their interest % - their cost was over by $3,500. Basically, they inflated the price by that much. They also said with credit of 820, we would not qualify for better interest rate that they are offering to "qualified people". We need 900, which does not really exist. All 3 credit agencies say the max is 850...

Horrible customer experience!! I traveled from MN to purchase a vehicle from them and was told by sales associate Trent that the purchase includes oil change services up to a year at any given place. When it came time for one, my husband contacted Trent to obtain further instructions on how to proceed. Trent acknowledged what he had promised however stated he will call back when he was available. A week goes by and still no returned call therefore my husband reached out to the sales manager who gave the same response, that he ll get to back which he never did.We attempted multiple times to reach them using different avenues however there still there has been no response after being told numerous times they will get back to us. Well... It's been two months now and not a single returned call. Given that McGrath boasts about how deeply they value CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE and integrity, it is extremely disappointing to see this is how they carry out and act on their "values". Don t waste your time here.

Great dealership to buy brand new or used car.I had the Pleasure of having Danny as my salesman,in December 2021 Danny helped with purchase of a Brand new 2022 Acura MDX A-Spec and now Danny not only did he help me with the purchase of a 2015 Audi S5, he kept me updated while the car got its checklist done since it was a new used car that they had just acquired.I plan on sending my friends and family to this location, I cant say enough on how great Danny has been never have I seen such a caring salesperson.McGrath Acura in Libertyville will be my dealership moving forward.

*HIGHLY RECOMMENDED DEALERSHIP - I used to sell cars at a handful of dealerships over the past 17 years, so I know the industry & know that you can't trust some dealers in this business. HOWEVER, my experience with McGrath Acura of Libertyville was nothing short of exceptional. My sales rep Ryan and his sales manager Jeremy Eckles were both highly professional, honest, & made the whole process seamless. One of easiest car buying experiences I've had in the past 19 years, hands down.Both finance managers Colin and Michael were also very friendly & professional to work with. I never felt pressure from anyone during my 3 separate trips to McGrath Acura. 5 stars across the board.

Arrived to test drive a vehicle that was listed on their own website as "pre-owned certified". The sales person (Trent) even referred to the vehicle as certified on more than one occasion. Once we started the financial discussion it was revealed that the car was not certified. Seems like a bait and switch. Total waste of time. I will never return to this dealer.
