I have been searching for a car for the past few weeks and finally found one at Liberty Auto Plaza! From the beginning, Que impressed me by answering all my questions and guiding me through the vehicle purchasing process. He provided details about the work that was done on the vehicle and was very professional and courteous. My overall experience was 5 stars! The buying process was a great experience with no hassle and I can see myself doing business with him again. !I am extremely grateful to Que for all the effort he put into getting the car ready for me! Regarding the experience, it was truly exceptional Liberty Auto Plaza is fortunate to have an amazing individual like Que working for your company. He has changed my view of being a car salesman.

Great experience overall at Liberty Nissan. My awesome salesman was Charlie FeldmannCharlie went above and beyond to get me the exact car that I wanted. He made sure I took home what I wanted. He was very patient, polite, answered all my questions, let me test drive all the cars I needed to without being pushy. He was making everything happen fast and efficiently. The car I wanted, had sold earlier and Charlie found me an even nicer one that had not been stocked yet so I especially appreciate that. I can t say enough about Charlie, he s outstandingManager Muhammed Y. Aka MO was great too. He worked with me as best as he could to help us finalize this deal. Also, very polite, attentive, and I really felt like he wanted to help me, also went above and beyond for meI definitely recommend this dealership, especially if you want a dealership.Tony, who did all my final paperwork was also a great guy to deal with, explained everything and then some.Thank you all!!

They get zero stars from me due to them selling me a horrible vehicle and I ve only had it for five months now and the engine is in failure and so is the alternator has broken parts loose inside and I told them that something was wrong within the first 30days and now today I am fighting to get my car fixed. The warranty company will not cover this issue so I need the dealer to take responsibility and fix the problem or give me a new car or refund my money. But I will never go back to this company again. The guy who helped me with the car didn t even work there anymore and that was just the next day (very strange). I ve reported this dealership to the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission & Americans with Disabilities ActToday is July 21, 2023 and I came to update my review due to the fact that my issue with the dealership has not yet been resolved! I had to pay a different Hyundai dealership to do a diagnostic test on my car to find out that the car also has a transmission problem!!!!! It s cheaper for them just to swap out my vehicle for a different and they want to give me one that is a lot less than what I paid for (saying it s due to taxes) they are trying to beat me out of my money!!! I gave them a check upfront for a car that was never checked out before it was sold! Not my fault!! I m severely stressed about this situation. I continued to bring this car into that dealership for five months and no one believed me and now they want to give me a car that s less than what I paid for!!! I WILL CONTINUE TO POST UNTIL THEY DO THE RIGHT THING OR I WILL GET A LAWYER!!!It s been four months since I ve updated my review well I m still not happy with this dealer but my car was swapped out for a 2013 Nissan pathfinder and let s just say it has more issues than the Hyundai. Be very careful and aware look at the vehicle very carefully before you buy. Bring your own mechanic. This dealership is selling lemonade vehicles!!!

GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH LIBERTY AUTO PLAZA NEW CAR PURCHASEA huge thank you to Muhammed (Mo) and Guillermo of Liberty Auto Plaza for the honest and transparent pricing and pleasant experience when purchasing my new 2023 Nissan Sentra SV. Unfortunately, this is extremely rare with today s car dealerships. Both staff from the start were respectful of me as a purchaser and did not treat me like a mark. In my first phone conversation with Mo, I told him what I believed the OUT-THE-DOOR price would be, based on what the MSRP, Destination Charges, Liberty Auto Plaza Seller price, what Dealer Doc fees (which are limited to $347 by Illinois state law) should be, Title, Registration, and Tax. Mo agreed and we were done. Just prior to sitting down with them when I arrived the next day, I checked out the unit I was getting to make sure there were no issues, test drove it, and Guillermo went through an orientation of the car. (Note to buyer-do your research of the car and specific unit before you call. Know what it should be priced and what you are willing to pay, before even contacting a dealer. They should respect your knowledge. Mo and Guillermo did. If a dealer does not, and still tries to push things on you, bait and switch prices different than advertised, walk away.)Both on our phone conversation and when I arrived at the dealership, there was no pressure, or add-ons, no push to finance with them, unnecessary services, etc. encouraged or urged for me to buy. We again checked the price I figured against theirs and they actually charged me slightly less than I had figured. In 15 minutes, I had an agreed upon written price. When asked if I was trading in my old vehicle, I said, Depends on their offer, they appraised it and gave me an offer. They honestly told me that since although my car was in good shape and had extremely low miles for an 18-year-old car, I would get a better price if I sold it by myself. To not have to go through the extra work of selling it on my own, I accepted their trade-in offer, even though it was about $1,000 less I could get on my own. I was there an additional one hour for them to finish the final cleanup and prep of the new car, while I went through the paperwork with the finance staff. (I had only called them the late afternoon before about this specific unit, not giving them much time to prep it earlier.) Again, they did not pressure me to buy an extended warranty or to finance with them. When offered and I said, No thank you, we moved on.This is how honest, easy, and quick a purchase of a new car should be. I highly recommend Mo, Guillermo, and Liberty Auto Plaza.

I know I don t have the best credit but I have a good job. Mike in finance was amazing. He worked for me and got me into an excellent car with basically no money down when no other dealership would take a chance on me. The sales man Willie Lopez was great. He kept me calm during the process and was very professional and very honest, which is rare. I will def send all my people to them.

Deceptive tactics-beware. I was contacted stating I was approved for up to a $32,000 loan. Great, picked a vehicle, asked for the financing terms as I live quite a distance away. Everything seemed legit but I was still questioning the information I was given so I decided to read the google reviews.When I asked why so many other posted that they were approved for certain terms until they got into the dealership I was told many people provide fake pay stubs etc. I can assure you my paystubs were legit. I then asked, at 1pm, for some paperwork to see before I went into the dealership at 4pm to ensure I wasn t in for a bait and switch . I was told absolutely I ll get you the financing paperwork but I m with a customer so just give me a little bit at 3pm I asked again and was ignored so I decided not to go into the dealership until I heard back. Messaged again at 7pm, again with no response. The next morning I decided I would try to contact the dealership as I know things happen. I called the finance manager who answered and said give him a few minutes and he will have someone reach out to me. 6 hours later no one has called.This is clear evidence of a bait and switch. All I asked for is the finance paperwork showing the deal they offered via text. Why can t they provide it? If they wanted to make a sale based on the terms they offered before I got there it would have been pretty simple to supply a few documents. In reality they can t provide documents because then they would have to honor them. Get your paperwork before you go and don t fall for their words.

They were very dishonest from the get go and tried the bait and switch when they found out I didn't want a high price vehicle that's when we started having problems. I Dealt with a gentleman named Jack who truly did lie to us and when we got there it was a gentleman named Mike Kay. I asked for the name of the dealership manager and never received an answer. Be careful if going there

If I could do 0 stars I would. I was contacted by Jack who's supposedly the special finance manager. He told me I was approved for a car and all I had to do was have proof of insurance and drive away. I told him I am not in a position to make a purchase (open auto loan and rebuilding credit). I told him I live an hour away and to make that trip on empty promises would not be ideal. He told me I will be able to leave with a new car and I believed him. Made the trip down there and Jack was nowhere to be found. He never showed his face. I was then told that I am not approved for a car and would need a cosigner. The salesmen continuously pushed for me to ask everyone I can for that favor and I told them I do not have that luxury. Jack lied to me to get me there and they pushed too hard to make a sale that was not possible.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst experience ever. First guy who emailed me had me come in for an appointment I told him at 3 pm came in 15 minutes early and said I was waiting for him and we were early so we didn't mind waiting. Well another man got us started and said the employee would be there in 30 minutes then was told no it will be an hour but they would get us started. I was confused as we told him 3 if he wouldn't be there then he should have said something. We give all my info then was told the guy I initially talked to wasn't going to be there at all. We waited over 3 hours with no decision still after I was assured by this man I was approved I asked because we didn't want to drive over an hour for no reason. We left as we were there for over 3 hrs and kept getting told 5 more minutes more than once. They told us go home and we will call you and I will pick you up with tour new car. It is now Tuesday and I have called them 3 times now yesterday and today and keep getting told they will call back and have heard nothing. It is bad service bad business I will NEVER go there again and told them to withdraw my application now seeing as they cannot even give me the courtesy of a call to even keep in communication as to what happened.

Our visit to this dealership turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences we've ever had. Our interaction was primarily with Daniel, who served as our dealer.Daniel requested my husband's driver's license for a test drive, which seemed standard. However, he held onto it throughout our discussions about the deal, and it became clear that he had no intention of returning it unless we agreed to close the deal on that very day. He was not even sharing the interest rate with us which sound quite fishy. Given the late hour, we unfortunately forgot to retrieve the license before leaving.The next day, when we contacted Daniel regarding the driver's license, his responses were extremely frustrating. Initially, he assured us that he was searching for it and believed it would turn up before we returned to finalize the deal. However, after several attempts to follow up, he abruptly changed his stance. When we requested a photo or any form of proof of the license, he flatly refused, citing that he was occupied with other deals.This experience was beyond disappointing. It's important to emphasize that customers should never feel pressured or obligated to close a deal with a specific dealership. Having multiple options is essential in any major purchase decision. The lack of professionalism and disregard for our concerns displayed by this dealership, particularly Daniel, was nothing short of unacceptable."I hope this revised review better captures your experience at the dealership.

Recently I had bought a used Hummer that wasn t bought from here I bought it was purchased from a private owner . The vehicle turned out to be a lemon. I had my truck towed here to libertyville service center an had them give me an estimate. Let s just say they are on a higher end of the term pricey. But we ll worth they are very upfront an no bs when it comes to what s going on with your vehicle. They take time to show you first hand if you prefer an then they walk you through what needs to be done immediately done an non immediate leaving you in control of what you get done. Works well done and well priced for. You get what you pay for as the saying goes but you can t put a price on trustworthiness.

Purchased a 2020 Kia Soul LX 6 speed manual from Danny and Gregg and had it shipped to Massachusetts. They were super responsive, very easy to work with and updated me on each step of the transaction. My car arrived EARLY and in great condition! Thank you SO much for everything!!!

I went to them cause my kia was totaled in an accident b4 Christmas. I found a 2021 kia soul turbothat loved. Looked at pics online and went over drove it so I put it hold with a down payment so I could clear up the accident. When we first went in we were told interest rate was 6.1%. We went back to buy it and all the sudden the rate is 8.53%.Then as we're filling out paperwork they added a "prepare for sale" fee of $1400.We took it home and a day or 2 after a got I saw paint chipped on the driver side sorta on the bumper. Surprise we went back and looked at pics and conviently there are no pics of that part of the car. I feel like that was slimey of them not to tell us bout the issue. It is a used car so I don't expect a perfect car but they should've been forth coming bout any issues with the car. Now I have to pay MORE money to fix it.We have 5 kias in our family and we will never go there again.

William helped me out today. I came in ready to level up and he showed me three different selections that would fit my lifestyle and my budget. He didn t hesitate to show me great hospitality while also giving me top notch options for a brand new 2022 Nissan Sentra! I am so glad that I came. Side note he sold my mom her car a year ago and she had only great things to say about him as well! Go check him out! The environment is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. Thanks William!

Jeremiah and Eddie are amazing!!! They got me into the vehicle of my dreams at the payments I needed which no other dealer around was able to accomplish for me. I got more than what I asked for my trade which blew my mind as I had purchased my previous vehicle just a year ago from a Kunes dealer and those dealerships are so awful to deal with that I traded my vehicle just so I wouldn t have to deal with them anymore and was willing to lose money just to be done with them!!! This by far was the best experience I ve ever had purchasing a vehicle and this is I felt like a friend not a customer with the way I was treated! Jeremiah is very warm, delightful, funny, charismatic man who made the car buying process painless and actually enjoyable and Eddie is a very warm, personable man who is a wizard at working a deal!!! Thank you so much Liberty Auto from the bottom of my heart for working your magic and making my life way less stressful and me and my son so happy when we needed it the most as my son was diagnosed with a fatal heart disease a week ago so again thank you!!!

Extremely deceitful financing department who make "approved" promises over the phone to lure you into their lot after submitted all sorts of documentation online, only to find out that they are not "approved" and offer horrible deals instead....buyers beware. If you're talking to Mike K. or Robert, they're both totally full of $&!+

My experience at Libertyville Subaru was above all expectations! From my first contact with BDC Representative - Daijon Davis, the follow up with the Dealership Manager - James, and in person meeting with my Sales Consultant - Hormis Korkis, and finally the Finance Manger, Miguel Hernandez. Through every step, each individual was unmatched with their honesty, knowledge, and professionalism. I would highly recommend my family or anyone else to purchase a vehicle at this location. They made the purchase of my vehicle, worry and hassle free working with all of my needs and wants.

Terrible not an honest or truthful dealership they say one thing oh your approved pick a car you want out then will do paperwork and you will drive out with a car ,then when you get their it's not true . Definitely will not recommend it's a waste of time ..

I was very skeptical when I learned that Liberty Auto Plaza may be able to assist me in my search for a used car. I have had some issues in the past, and I am currently in the process of rebuilding my credit.When I came into the dealership on Wednesday, I was immediately approached by William, who turned out to be one the sweetest people I have ever met. He held my hand through the entire process and answered any questions I had.And then there was Robert. The big dog. The man with the plan who made all my dreams come true! He worked a deal so sweet for me that I was blown away!I came in the dealership looking for something older that I could afford, and I left with a BRAND NEW 2020, with an amazing interest rate and monthly payments that I could afford. Even though this dealership is an hour away from my home, I will continue to give them my business because these guys are the truth!

We had the best experience here after going through several Nissan dealers an entire weekend. The salesman was kind and didn't take advantage of us like several of the other salesmen in the other dealerships. Since we bought our car a year ago, left with a great deal and 2019 car, we have recommended this place. We're still very happy with our purchase!
