I never used their services but on Easter weekend I decided to take my 77 Trans Am for a spin. Well the car decided to leave me stranded to find it was nothing major. The owner of Albas classics took the time to pull over and offer his help. We discovered that we knew people in common, small world. This gentleman is such a nice guy. He was on his way to be with family and stopped to help a total stranger. He will be my go to place for future needs. Thanks again for pulling over. Happy Easter

I highly recommend Alba Customs & Classics. They took my 1982 Corvette and made it look and run better than I could imagine for a 41 year old car. Very professional and thorough. I was looking to get my engine bay painted called multiple shops that would not do it.. Al was more than willing to paint my engine bay! After stopping by and seeing the prep work they did I was truley amazed at how much work they did just for a engine bay! I can't wait to see the final product. Update after getting the car back, the work that they did was awesome! The pictures don't do justice for how good it looks.

If you have auto body work needing to be done, I cannot recommend going to Alba's Customs and Classics enough. Alba and his team truly went above and beyond to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with the repairs and treated me as if we were long-time friends just catching up. If you're looking for a highly reputable shop with a team that feels like they actually care about you and not just your money, go to Alba's!

Project car have a very unique coating of paint that I wasn t sure if it could be clear coated. Al came in and did a couple of test coats and assured me the clear should adhere to the paint fine. The car came out absolutely amazing and at a great price too. I d definitely recommend.

All I can say is thank you AL !!I brought my JAGUAR Van Den Plas, to AL's Shop, to correct a horrible NON Matching paint job created by CASTEN Auto Body of Wauconda IL.After this horrible experience from CASTEN Auto. I searched around and finally found AL's Shop.. of course, It was hard to trust another paint shop, but AL convinced me he would remove the bad paint and redo it properly.With AL's many years of experience I felt more confident that he had the skill to solve the paint problem, and I certainly could not leave the paint two different tints, especially since I planned to enter my car in the Jaguar Concours car show & competition.Short time later I am very happy to say AL Saved the day and my car is beautiful again... :-) Thanks to AL,AL explains details and is Professional, what more could you ask for.Bill B, Palatine ILServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Wow! It looks like its showroom new... like a mirror!My 2007 Shelby Mustang Convertible - Hertz private addition from the Rent a Racer program was parked in my driveway for an afternoon where the neighbor had his cedar shake roof refurbished with a stain/paint spray. The crew was careless and my car got over-spray all over, including rubber and plastic components and all over the gold Hertz racing stripes.After going to five local shops that perform clean ups and waxing and body work at two, it was very clear there was a lack of qualification. I went to two body shops and they just did not cut the mustard and one shop said its a multi-week project and a "Customs Shop" was the better choice. All of these five shops could refinish the paint but feel short on the plastics, rubber parts and racing stripes. I just did not feel comfortable.I took it to Alba (over 33 miles away) through a competent referral from the last local body shop that could not take on such a large project. He gave me Alfredo's contact information who is the owner of Alba. Al had worked for decades at a his sister shop. I met with Al and he indicated the extent of the work actually required required replacing mirrors, moldings, replacing the gold racing stripes and various plastic components. It was night and day different in the scope of work from the others that looked at it. Clearly Al had the capabilities and decades of experience to deliver. The neighbors Cedar vendor got their insurance involved and worked with Al which was effortless on my part.What I learned is there is a big difference in a prep shop and a simple auto collision shop and a true "restoration shop". Alba is a restoration shop which has the time and expertise to do the deep dive projects.It took a couple weeks for the work and it looks like it belongs in a car showroom now. I am serious. Al even made sure the car was on a battery charger prior to my arrival to pick it up. This is a man with decades of experience and has gained my respect of a true professional.I am both happy with the outcome and the relationship was solid throughout.I know Alba does polish up prep work as well and smaller projects so if your needs are for something less, this is the rare find of talent to care for your ride. Al was super professional and straightforward throughout the entire process. He knows his stuff and won't try to steer you down a path of stuff you don't need. He listens to what you want/need, and will figure out a plan with you to accomplish your goal(s) with your vehicle. To top it off, his paint skills are phenomenal. Definitely recommend his services to anyone who needs them, and I will definitely be returning if the need arises.

Had an accident in fall of 2017 on my 1968 impala and they took good care of the car at the shop until they delivered the car fixed i couldn t have been happier great work great group of guys the owner Al kept me up to date with just about everything including pictures of what was being done or had been done if i could give more stars i would. Definitely recommend them.

Very honest I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee and wanted some rust repair instead of just saying yeah I can do that he said because of the price of parts and labor it wasn't worth doing!! when I have other body work I will definitely go to him!!!

Had a great experience there. I crashed my car into a ditch and the whole front end was messed up. They went above and beyond with the quality work they did. It look awesome and there customer service was terrific. Very understanding and willing to help Can t thank Al and the guys enoughWould recommend this place the family and friends
