I have always been a fan of cars (and bikes). I ve had a number of notable ones and as such, I have had a variety of transaction experiences dealers, private parties, online and in-person auctions, etc., but I have to say I have never had a better transactional experience that what I had at Chevy Exchange in Lake Bluff, IL.First of all, Viviana Quinto was great in keeping in touch with rapid responses via email, calls, and text. As I live 200 miles away, so that gave me great peace of mind. She managed all the paperwork, negotiations, financing, and even a wheel swap. All done perfectly albeit long distance.Once I arrived at the dealership, Danny Trujillo took over and was just amazing in his thorough orientation to the car s functionality and options. His knowledge and expertise of all the ins-and-outs of the new C8 was so very helpful and appreciated. He also set me up with OnStar and the app. He was very patient with my myriad of questions and wanting to try out and set every imaginable feature the 2023 C8 had to offer. As it was spec d as a Z51 2LT there was a lot to cover, and by the time I left, I felt very comfortable and confident that I knew how to properly use all the features.I highly recommend both Danny Trujillo and Viviana Quinto, they were great to work with and I d be happy to do so again in the future. Brought my Traverse in for an oil change and now I'm reading low oil. If it needed more why not ask and fill ant other time that's what happens. Not likely to come back. UPDATE checked the oil it was EMPTY the so I took the car to Jiffy Lube where we discovered the filter was not even tightly screwed on it was just twisted by hand with a huge gap between the filter and base.

I had a great Salesman. Very Personable. Did express at the beginning of buying process that I did not want my credit shopped around, and was only interested in financing through GM Financial. I was ascertain that would only happen. I was concerned about lowering of my credit score. I was not told that there actually were two checks done, one by dealership and one by GM. Lowered score by 6 points. Also felt like I should have received more for my 2023 trade-in fully loaded Kia Forte GT. But over, feel i got a great deal on the vehicle purchased. I felt comfortable in the dealership.

Thrilled to have purchased a new car from this team! My salesperson Moody was fantastic to work with, and made me an offer on a new 2023 Trailblazer that I couldn t refuse. The whole process couldn t have been easier, and I drove away with my new ride an hour after visiting this dealership. It was a no pressure, no hassle experience literally just Sign & Drive. To that I said, Done & Done. Thanks Moody, love my new car and thank you to the guys in Service who just gave it a complimentary hand car wash (another Perk working with this dealership). Keep up the great customer service!!!

Everything was great at the dealership no issues it was seamless process. Great salesman. Skyler was awesome. One of the best salesman I ve ever met. I would send people there. I would send my family there and I know he would take care of them. Finance was awesome very respectful no negative experience at this dealership. I would send anybody to that dealership and know they would take care of them.

Be wary of this dealer, especially their service center. My truck had an issue and they failed to fix it three times. The same error codes show up after driving 7 miles. They deceived me repeatedly and I exposed their lies. They never meet the deadline or give any updates. I reached out to the service manager, Mr. Tom, who was rude and unhelpful. I requested a transfer and spoke to the general manager, who assured me he would look into it and get back to me soon. But days have gone by and nothing has changed. I don t even want to mention the communication among the lower-level staff, because it s a disaster with such poor leadership. I m now dealing with GM to resolve the issue.

I first called on the phone, answered by Viviana, to inquire about advertisements listed on/in their Website. She answered all my questions, enabling me to make a choice between 2 cars. She made an appointment to view them. Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by Fuad Abughhosh, our Sales Consultant. He showed us the cars and explained their features thoroughly, we chose one. The after market person, we chose 1 plan and finance person were exceptional.

Service agents are great, they listen and assist in everyway they can. Especially when it comes to early bird bringing the vehicle in and such, they are willing to squeeze you in as they can. Their service has been amazing. Definitely a lot more better than other dealerships. I am pleased with Chevrolet Exchange and the service department.

Shocked but not surprised by the great customer service from the service team. I had some service done on my work truck and had to bring the truck back for additional issues related to the service I received. I was prepared for battle going in based on my previous experiences with other dealerships throughout my life. I was prepared with documentation, bills, receipts, etc. and had just gotten done listening to Never Split the Difference on audiobook. I brought my concerns to Rick in service who calmly explained that he needed to bring this to the service manager. I said let me bring it to the service manager he said Ok, seemingly without a care in the world. When I entered the service manager s office, he had diagrams and schematics laid out and I was thinking this is going to be the real battle. To my surprise, he explained the issue I was having and said that he ordered the parts that should fix it. I was confused and asked how I was going to explain a second bill for the same problem and then he smiled and said that there wasn t going to be a second charge. I bring my two Suburban work trucks here and have always had great success but never had any issues to deal with. I am telling you, this is old school customer service where I was treated better than I expected but should have expected it based on my service history with the Chevrolet Exchange. Great job and thank you.

We were new to the area and needed a trusted dealer for emergency service for our GMC. I honestly can t say enough about how great our experience was with Rick at the Service Department. Rick is professional, responsive and provides excellent communication. Also really quality workmanship and a fast turnaround on our car despite it being unscheduled. Happy to have found a dealership we will always continue to come back to.

Very good experience purchasing here. our salesperson Fuad was top notch. He was thorough in explaining, did not pressure us, and was very friendly. Would definitely recommend. And once i m in the market again, and if i plan for another Chevrolet, will go back 100%.

I brought my 2017 Equinox in for repair knowing what the problem was after being sent here by my normal shop that could not fix this particular issue. From the moment I walked in and delt with Elmer Hortelano I felt uneasy. I was told that I would be called with information once they had a chance to examine the problem. The next morning, I received a phone call around 8am. There was a lot of overexaggerated talk before I was given a quote of over $4000 for essentially a gasket replacement! I requested that a detailed estimate be emailed to me so that I could examine the charges more carefully and was then told that the "diagnosis" was going to be $199.00 if I wanted to pick my vehicle up instead. No fees of any kind were discussed or disclosed at drop off. After never receiving the requested estimate, I called back and requested it AGAIN from Elmer. What I received was a joke and was not formal detailed estimate. Long story short I will NEVER return to this dealership, and I suggest anyone who values integrity does not either.

Everyone seems like love this place for its great service. Well, its so great they will make sure to take full advantage of old ladys. If they tell you you need an oil change every 1,000 to 4,000 miles, thats a scam. If they want you to get a new brake rotor every 30k miles, thats a scam. If they want you to get new break pads every 15k miles, guess what? Scam. Im sure theyre nice if your an avg age man who they cant scam. I wouldnt trust them if they take advantage of anyone.

If you are looking at getting a Chevy, this is the best and most honest dealership in the area. I worked with Moody who made every part of the purchase process effortless. He goes above and beyond for his clients and is always available to help. He really makes the experience easy and fun. Rob the sales manager is the best in the business they are lucky to have such honest and great people.Highly recommend getting a vehicle from this dealership. We are on our third.Moody / Rob are the best!

Paul responded to the KBB instant cash offer to sell my car. Unfortunately their price was not the best and I had to sell to a different dealership. But, I appreciate that they did not waste my time like other dealers that make you and offer and then drop their price when you come in for an appraisal.

This is hands down the BEST dealership I have ever dealt with in my life. From every aspect of the dealership Sales to Service to Management - everyone is exceptional! This is my second vehicle with the Chevy Exchange and after a 2 plus year relationship, this last experience only further solidified my appreciation and their commitment to excellence. This experience, My Sales Person was Danny Trujillo. Danny was incredible, listened, truly heard my needs and proceeded with compassion and efficiency to figure out a solution for my more nuanced even complex needs. I felt truly supported and as long as I live in Illinois or the vicinity of, I could not imagine working with a different dealership. Excellence through and through! Thank you!

I've lived on the north shore for 2 decades and have always driven a used car. Nothing special by any means. But I've always wanted a Chevy Silverado. But not just any Silverado - a custom Silverado by Tuscany Automotive. On occasion I would drive by the Chevy Exchange at night to view their Tuscany's and eventually decided to get things in order to make the purchase. From the GM, to my salesman to the financial officer to the parts department - everyone was as excited and happy as I was to get the deal done. It's been six months and I've been there several times for complimentary car washes and twice for scheduled maintenance at no additional cost. And everytime, the hospitality and positive vibes remain a constant. I'm happy and proud to have the Chevy Exchange license plate cover on my sweet truck. Thanks guys for everything. #customerforlife

The Exchange has a very professional staff. Service writers Rick and Dan, do everything possible to make your experience positive. Depending on the problem with your vehicle they try hard to get your vehicle back to you the same day. Parts for a car sometimes takes longer, depending on the parts needed. They will get you a ride home or to work. If they have a loaner vehicle available you'll get one, but make an appointment for this ahead of time. At times they won't have a car available. Great dealership.

Was driving to Vet with my puppy and my Chevy gets a warning message half way to vet that my engine may stall due to my Chevy is running solely on battery backup. Worried with the extreme heat/humidity and having my pup with me that I might have a serious issue with my pup (he struggles with the heat and unfortunately I'm not prepared in vehicle for emergency with pup with food/water, etc.), so, if car not start and we dead in the water waiting for tow at vet then my pup really suffer in the heat waiting for tow. Decided to skip vet and immediately go to The Chevy Exchange to see what dashboard warning message all about. Best decision ever! Rick, my service manager, could not be more professional or better to work with. He invited me and my pup to the service area and despite being extremely busy was able to get the issue resolved and better yet it was under warranty (no cost to me) and I was in and out of service in record time. What a great team of service experts the Chevy Exchange has! Love to work with Rick and Dan and really, I've never gone wrong with any of the service experts at the Chevy Exchange. Thank you Rick and team so much for getting me and my puppy back on the road in record time and always taking great care of my and my Chevy! Can't recommend you guys enough! All my best, Mark

Purchased my car used with 50,000 in April 2021. Brought the car home to realize they missed a windshield crack in the inspection before selling the car. They agreed to fix it. I thought they would replace windshield but instead they just spot coated the glass. Brought it back in a second time and they did the same thing but this time made it worse and had 3 star cracks. Had to go through a nightmare to get them to agree to replace the windshield. They did but there was damage to the rubber trim around the window.Within 30 days of purchasing the vehicle the car wouldn t start. After jumping it, it started. Next day same issue. After 3 days of jumping the car brought it back. They argued that the battery was fine running at 50% capacity but that I needed to replace it. This didn t make sense but I agreed to replace the battery at 50% discount.Fast forward to September I brought the car to Ford for a recall notice. Ford did a full inspection and found another $2500 of repairs (oil leak, water pump replacement). Ford also said that whoever installed this battery installed the brackets upside down which caused the battery to dent and could cause acid leak and future problems. They recommended to take it back to Chevy Exchange and demand a replacement.Brought it in today and they tried to argue that although the battery was dented it was still running good and there was no need to replace it. I had to escalate to the service manager to finally get them agree to replace the battery because of their initial fault of installing it wrong.DO NOT BUY USED CARS HERE. They will not do a proper full inspection and when you do have an issue you will make multiple attempts to escalate argue and threaten before they will back any of their work.I wish I have never bought my car here. This was by far the worst buying experience I have had. Wasted so much time and energy. I also live 1 hour from the dealership so you can calculate how much time I have been without a car due to multiple services and issues.

Just bought a great used Tahoe. We took care of financing over the phone, so when I showed up I was in and out in less than an hour. That s how car buying should be.
