I ended up at this place after having a flat tire on a snowy day. They were very busy but understood that I was in Lake Forest to visit the hospital there. They looked at my tire as soon as it was practically possible. They were not able to fix my tire as it was damaged beyond repair. They put my spare on but did not charge me anything. Antonio was very professional but at the same time very kind and understanding, he said if possible come back here to have your tire replaced and I will give you the best possible deal.

I stopped by late afternoon and they were able to accommodate my need for an oil change. While checking and servicing my car, the technician discovered a large mouse nest in the air filter! I would never have known until damage was apparent, so I am grateful to have it taken care of. Tony was so kind and helpful - kept me informed about cost all along the process. He is a super friendly guy and very accommodating. I would definitely use their services again.

I was recommended this set of shops by a friend who used to work in the industry, and I haven't regretted it. They're kind, thorough, don't talk down to me (which happens occasionally to women). They also don't dismiss the fact that I do some maintenance myself (why yes, I'd rather put my own wiper blades on) and try to upsell me. And they have a nice waiting room and appointments across a variety of times so I can get in after school on my way home which I very much appreciate. Gavin has taken good care of me the last few times!

The guys here do phenomenal work. I brought them a 20 year old Mitsubishi Evo and after getting it back, it feels like new. The repairs took longer than expected (hard to find/rare parts, no fault on Sunset at all) and Tony called me daily to give updates on the work so I would always know where we were at. After seeing the quality of work here and the stellar communication, I'll have no hesitation to come back every time for any work I need done.

I ve entrusted Sunset with several cars, from vintage exotics to current European models, over the past year and have yet to have a negative experience. �The support staff and technicians are not only highly knowledgeable/skilled but also highly trustworthy, kind/courteous, respectful of personal property all the good stuff! �Pricing is more than fair/reasonable, especially given how much care and effort is exerted to do the job correctly (and I ve brought in several challenging tire issues). Sunset is the real deal, and I will NEVER take my vehicles anywhere else. Period.Thank you, Sunset!

Truly best experience. Each staff member knows you by name. They are t honest, well beyond fair- priced and reliable . They will work with your financial needs and concerns. On top of that our cars drive unbelievable after each service. Also, stand by their work and will honor their commitments.

Edit* Sunset called and had my indicator replaced in a matter of hours. Very satisfied and will return in the months to come. Military friendly services!Had to have a steering column replaced on my 95 F150. It's nice and solid but now my shift indicator doesn't work anymore. I'm very disappointed with that, doesn't effect the drive but as much as I spent and the work I'm going to have done in the next year It's very disappointing. Now I've gotta get that fixed. If it wasn't for that, it would be 5 stars.

Really thought Gavin and Diego were nice. I declined the repair cost of $4000 because just don t have the money. The main thing was $900 which was still more than I wanted to pay. They pulled my car up after I paid for the diagnosis and tow fee ($470 in total) Rear view mirror was completely disconnected. And in the backseat, steering wheel was completely gutted. Didn t have a horn, turn signals, or wipers. It was raining and the drive home was super sketch. Wasn t how I was expected to be. I understand gutting the steering wheel to get to the issue but why the hell is the rear view mirror completely disconnected?

They deserve at least 10 stars! I was less than 2 minutes into my evening commute when I noticed a large vibration coming from the front. I drove through a construction zone and thought my tire picked up a rock. Boy was I wrong. There was a complete bolt with washer embedded into my tire!My drive home is 40 miles and thought I could limp it home and take care of it tomorrow. The vibration was getting worse I could barely drive over 35 mph. I frantically called a few tire shops but no one was willing to take care of it since it was almost 4pm on a Friday. I called Sunset Tire and they were willing to look at the tire to see if they could fix it.I arrived to a clean waiting area and walked into the well organized shop and met with Angel. We walked to the damaged tire and said they can easily patch it. Phew! They took my car in and in under an hour it was done. I was expecting a bill closer to $100 since they took the wheel off the car, dismounted the tire, properly patched the tire from the inside, remounted the tire and put the wheel back on. Nope. The total bill was $30 with tax.I highly recommend Sunset Tire for taking care of me in such a timely manner. You guys are a life saver!

This is a great company. I could not ask for better service. I'm told what the price will be ahead of time and it is always as quoted or lower. I have never had any problems with any of the repairs and the fact that they will drive me home and drop off my car back to me is an added bonus. Since I can pay electronically, they also just drop my car off at my home so I do not have to go back to pick it up. Great service.

My usage of this garage goes back to 2008 and 2010 for fixing my Subaru Impreza 93. I was satisfied with the work and price. Recently I had them fix my Forester 07 issues. The work was well done. I will come back for my other old or fun cars. It s worthwhile for me to drive 30 minutes from my home there instead of using other garages nearby.

Quick, easy, and took great care of me! I called this morning and they got me in immediately. Gavin was very helpful! In his words "we will get you in, make you some coffee, and fix your tire". And that's exactly what they did. Highly recommend!

By far the best experience I ve had at a repair shop bar none! These guys defiantly know their craft. I was also very impressed with the open communication about every step taken. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for tires or repairs.

Went there to get oil change and tire balance and rotation and to swap 2 rear dif bump stops. The Good News and there is some good news, was I got in within a an hour or 2 where as other places had to have an appointment a few days out and I was in a rush. The BAD news was I had two rear dif bump stops that needed to be swapped out which I provided the parts and they had just 2 screws each one for a total of 4 simple screws that were the easiest to get to screws you can get too and they charged me $84! I remember back in the day they would do that literally 2 minute job for free but I get it nothing is free in this world but $21.50 a screw $84 for 2 minutes? Not cool by my book and I wont be returning. I wonder if that quick and one time $84 was worth losing a customer forever and getting a bad review? That's my story hope yours are better!

Honest, great communication up front, fair prices. A nice little surprise at the end of the transaction, they cover towing, flat tires, lock outs etc. Up to $150.00. This place is a pleasure to do business with.

I walked out to my car after work to find I had a flat tire. My commute home is almost 90 miles south, and too far to attempt on a donut spare tire. Like anyone, I searched for "Tire Repair" and Sunset appeared at the top of the list with excellent reviews, and I now understand why. Honestly, the place is buried on a side road, and it's not very large from the front. But it's clean, organized, and the staff are pleasant, polite, and congenial. Even the bathroom was clean and well-kept. They were pretty busy for a Friday afternoon, but were still able to patch my tire and throw it back in my car in a short time. They also offered a military discount, which is frankly not necessary, but the consideration was appreciated. Overall great experience. If I lived closer, these guys would be my go-to mechanics.

Once again sunset is the best. They ve been my go to since moving to Lake County. So far they ve replaced front and rear brakes, all suspension parts, oil changes and more and I m always so astonished at their great prices and incredible service/care for my vehicle. I love that estimates and invoices come through text for easy payment. They even pick up my vehicle and drop it off for free. Stop your search and use this shop, you ll be so satisfied!
