I have been having my Austin Healey serviced at Northshore for about 30 years when I first saw a feature article in the paper about Mr Bries, his shop, and his love of British cars. If you want a shop that treats every car as if it belongs to the owner himself, this is the place to go. The mechanics here know every in and out of British sports cars and others too. I would rate this place 100++++. Mr Bries and his daughter Michelle are the only people that you should trust with your vintage British sports cars. The also carry many beautiful used cars and Morgan's. Once you have work done at Northshore you will never go anywhere else; and wonder why it took so long to find the best ! I can go on and on but see for yourself. I swear you will be very pleased with the work they do for you!

I have been a customer here for over 6 years. Michelle, Norb, Peter Rich and Keith go above and beyond!. Highly recommend for all service needs of vintage, modern, and awesome vehicles. Plus their showroom will simply make you smile.

I purchased a 1955 MG TF from Michelle over the summer. Michelle and her father were great to deal with. I had a slight problem with the car after it was shipped to me in Florida and they picked up the charge. That normally does not happen when you buy car that old. If your looking for a classic and Nothshore Sportcars has the car, buy it.

Have been a customer/friend (as that is how it always is with repeat customers) for over 20 years. Have watched the business being turned over to MIchelle and watched it continue to grow and prosper. Basically, really great people, serving the sports car community with exceptional service, storage and sales of the highest quality cars. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to get a car, service or store a car. Five STARS!

Purchased a rare early build Healey 100/4 right hand drive from Norb and Michelle. They answered all my questions honestly and sent many pictures of all areas of the car that I asked for before I committed to buying the car. They have great experience of export procedures and documentation and Michelle has a great eye for detail. I would not hesitate to buy from them again and would recommend them to anyone in the UK who finds a USA car they like but are nervous about buying and importing. Looking forward to driving the Healey to Goodwood and other racing events in the spring.

I purchased a Triumph TR3 and was very pleased with both the car and the service. Michelle was terrific to work with and I would recommend her and Northshore to anyone looking for a Morgan or a classic sports car of any kind.

Well, 45+ years between days at the track tend to dull the reflexes. We had a ball doing Autocross yesterday. We were clean three of four runs (minor error at the end of a slalom) and times were only mediocre. It was not the cars problem. I have to drive much more aggressively to compete for placements. I can not believe how well the car handles and I will get better.I was stunned to see guys pulling up in closed trailers with VERY high end Corvettes, Porches, and BMWs. My TR6 was not the fastest car there but we actually drew small crowds all day and one Lotus owner called my engine "a work of art." I am leaving for several weeks and will call for an appointment when I get back to let Keith look at the carb setup. Please pass this along to Keith with my thanks to you both for helping me build the car of my dreams. A few more runs and I think we may be able to do some placings.

I've worked with Norb for over 20 years. He does what he says he's going to do, pays his bills on time, has a genuine passion for classic cars and takes very good care of his customers. I bought a Mini Cooper from him in early 2012 and still love it today!

Brilliant!I bought a mini cooper for my wife four months back. Everything was very straight forward and I managed to get the car for an extremely reasonable price. Everyone at northsore sportscars is very approachable and I would certainly recommend buying from them.Thanks, Steven.

I have bought 2 MGB GT'S from Norm -always as described and terrific to deal with as i had work done to cars at his shop. i bought these cars to have my sons experience a restoration with the "old School" guys instead of the slick shops of today. I have owned 100 cars, never lived in Chicago and Norm has treated me right.Rob Pietrafesa

I have dealt with Northshore on several occasions. I have found them courteous, professional, knowledgeable and reasonable in their charges. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for! Would definitely do business with them in the future should the need arise.

WARNING...... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE THIEVES,Warning!!!!! Do not do business with these people. I bought a TR6 from this guy Norb Bries (owner) He misrepresented the car from day one. He seemed nice enough on the phone that I thought I could trust him, WOW was I wrong. First I paid 28,000 dollars for a car that was supposed to have just come off a complete restoration. Well when I was about to take delivery of the car he told me it would only run on race gas. WTF. The motor needed to be replaced OMG. WHAT 28K and it has no motor, fast forward I build a motor at my expense and I added parts to the car that eat up 7000 in labor to the thieves pockets, they finally release the car to me "The Restored" car when it arrives it has no brakes and mice had eaten through the convertible roof. I have repaired everything now at my expense and have sorted the car to my satisfaction. BUT BE WARNED THESE PEOPLE ARE DISPICABLE AND HAVE YOUR CASH WHEN THEY HAVE YOUR CAR. DON'T DO it.
