I always took my cars to Maas (20 years) and was very happy with their honesty, their willingness to explain the job and their work. When I moved out of state, I actually called back and asked for their opinion on recommended repairs and costs from my local provider. They took the time to explain the recommendations I had received and accessed my old service records to confirm if the work was necessary. I am forever grateful for their commitment to their clients (both current and former!) Thank you, Maas.

My first experience with Maas was very satisfying because of the service and reasonable cost. Took my car there again because of a different problem with my vehicle. I was told what was wrong and what it would cost for repairs. That made up my mind in what I needed to do. I appreciate Maas honesty.

Over the past two years our Honda Odyssey kept shaking while braking. Took it to another place as well as the dealership who both performed the correct work but the shaking only marginally improved and then fully returned. Our friend Ken recommended Maas because they do good work and are honest. He was right. Maas did the same work but completely resolved the shaking. Makes you wonder about why the other place and the dealership couldn't solve it but ultimately I don't care. We go to Maas now.

They were quite busy. But that's what happens with a quality shop. The wait was worth it. I had my routine oil change. Come spring I'll have to schedule a trans fluid change.

I have been taking my cars to Marty since I moved to Lagrange in 1994.Service is excellent and they don t fix what is not broken. Had a loose metal part making noise on the extension pipe that attaches to the mufflerThey fixed it in a matter of minutes and didn't charge me!Is there a better automotive shop out there anywhere? I highly doubt it!When you need service, that's the place to go for great service!

Maas has great service! Friendly staff and their mechanics do a fantastic job. They do great work, fast, and prices are reasonable. I recommend Maas if you are looking to get your car serviced well.Still going to this business, and still great service.The days of operation have changed for the betterment of the employees. Though, it may affect customers negatively, I believe this is an excellent choice so the workers can have some normalcy in their lives and with family time.

BEWARE! Don t leave your car with them unattended. BE PRESENT!Save yourself from frustrations!I had my car sitting in their lot for days, you need to call up constantly and remind them it s sitting in their lot and needs service. Also, they change there story stating they did this or that service. They play stupid! In reality, If the lot is full of cars don t bother this place can t help you. I had to drag it out of their parking lot to send it to some other mechanic. The problem is they knowingly schedule appointments when there is no one available to attend to your vehicle. Never Ever �Will I ever.! Go elsewhere! This shop is overwhelmed with work. Not enough man power to tackle it all either. The one worker told me mechanic abruptly quit. Absolute B.S! It s a business that s not what it use to be that s for sure.

I bought a brand new 2009 Toyota Corolla in late 2008. Maas Auto has been taking care of my car from the beginning and my expenses have been very minimal. I currently have 230,000 miles on my car It s great to know you can have an honest auto shop.I have three cars in the family, and Maas Auto takes care of them all.If you ever sit in the waiting room, you would realize that most everybody has been coming there for many years for a reason.Thank you, Maas Auto!!!!There is no reason to go anywhere else! !!Services: Tires, Electrical, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

This is a rare auto repair shop. I have been going there for at least 15 years. They do excellent work here. If they tell you that you need a repair then you can rest assured they will not lie or cheat you in anyway, they are 100% honest. Maas has all of the latest diagnostic equipment. This is a family owned business with 2 locations .

Came here for a tire rotation and oil change. This was my first time using Maas for general maintenance on my car and I m glad I decided to! Quick service, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Also, it s nice that Marty puts his bird feeders outside the windows - the best entertainment while you wait!

I wanted to share this experience to just make people aware. I took my son's first car - a 2005 Audi A6 to this mechanic in December 2020 for a check engine light that was on. Maas ran the diagnostics and repaired the cam shaft adjuster valve. The mechanic then mentioned we should do an oil flush since the oil looked a little sludgy. Mentioned they do these flushes on many of their cars. So, being that they are the mechanic, I figured they know best. We picked up the car when they were done and it ran great for about a week or so. Then the check engine light came back on and it ran worse than before. We had Maas take a look at the vehicle again but they didn't figure it out, said they'd have to take it all apart to figure it out. I was recommended another mechanic so, I took it to them. They were getting "cam shaft" error messages and asked me if I had any work done recently to the car. I told them about the work Maas had done and that they did an oil flush. The other mechanic told me that was the problem. The additive that Maas used on the vehicle ate all the gaskets on the car and now the engine is ruined. The other mechanic told me it needs a total engine rebuild now. I went back to Maas with the information I was told- Maas told me I need to take it up with the company who makes the additive. I've since been in touch with a lawyer and gathering more and more information. My son had his car for only a year and it makes me sick to think if we would have just "passed" on having the oil flush, his car would still be running. The car only has 96K miles on it and the engine was pristine before. Now oil is EVERYWHERE!! I just want to warn anyone with an older vehicle, if they want to do an oil flush - I WOULDN'T DO IT! I am out $8,000 because nobody wants to take responsibility for the damage that was done to the engine. If you do decide to move forward with an oil flush, get a warranty/guarantee for the work that is done so if your engine is trashed, they are responsible.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I have been a Maas customer for 20+ years. I'm not a "car guy", so it is great to deal with people who are honest and trustworthy. On a number of occasions, I brought my car in because a warning light was on. They found the cause and made a minor adjustment and sent me home without paying. An unscrupulous mechanic could have told me that I needed hundreds of dollars of work and I wouldn't have known any better. Excellent people to deal with. Heather and Scott are a pleasure. If you want excellent work at a fair price by people you can trust then Maas is worth the trip.

Update 10/10/2022: Mr. Maas has reached me out and professionally handled my issue providing me with all information he could find out. Previous lack of response seems like a technical issue. Changing rating to 5-stars to indicate they treat requests seriously.BRLuke*********Asked for support, did not get any. Just wanted to know if service recalls for car of particular vin serviced by them according to carfax were handled. Nothing sophisticated, still no answer.

I've been a customer for about 6 years now with them. Sense the first time I brought my car in to them, it's was the last time I ever went anywhere else. Other places try to rob you, cheat you and here at MASS they don't. They have fair prices, quality work and employees. The staff treat you fairly and they are fairly fast with the work.

Honest repair shop that treats customers well and goes the extra mile. Prices aren't cheap but then again quality car repair can be expensive. It's nowhere near dealer-level pricing though, and they don't try to get you to spend unnecessarily, which is always appreciated. Be warned, Marty the owner likes an audience to talk about his views. All in good fun though, all in good fun.

After all these years, found a place that is honest and fair. They now have a customer for as long as I own a car. Went in with what I thought would be around three hundred to fix, found out it was only a few bucks to fix. Eric and his dad Marty are honest people and I will recommend Maas auto to everyone.

MAAS auto is my goto repair place. They are always polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. They are not the chrapest, but they are very competitive in price,but they are always high quality and stand by their service warranty.

I must say I don't trust shops but Maas has definitely convinced me otherwise I have a 2006 Mercedes R500 they fix it from the router to the tutor.I was so impressed with the work and the customer service I would recommend them for everything.Hands down the best work ethic I've ever seen.Thanks again H.Wetzel TRUE STORY TRADE MARK

Excellent car service. Friendly and fast service, excellent quality and the prices are way way way better then other service centers and dealers. I have paid extra to have my car towed from other service centers to Maas because of pricing and quality. We drive from the north suburbs to go here. Highly recommend!

Have been going to Maas for a few years now, they provide very high quality work, and unlike many in this space, they are extremely trust-worthy. Marty never nickel-and-dimes you on things and advises you well throughout the process. Highly recommended!!!
