Went in to check price for a friend and asked if they price matched and they said yes. He matched the price at RockAuto for an alternator. Friend drove 25 miles to pick it up and then they changed their mind and would not match RockAuto.Okay what about Walmart? Nope they would not match $106 Walmart price either, even though that's a real retail competitor down the road. Then I pulled up the advertised $103 price on their very own site and they would not match that."You have to buy that online"So I walked outside and ordered it online and then walked back in and picked it up. How ridiculous. I would recommend that advance Auto parts match their own online price when you have a customer in front of you. Probably will not purchase at this location again because of the managers condescending attitude and failure to provide appropriate solutions.

Just spent $100 and they wouldn't let me use the bathroom.The coil bought for the 2000 Honda CR-V was missing the screws. One of ours was damaged and now I'm screwed - looking for a screw

Very accommodating. Had what I needed. Only problem was road construction which made it almost impossible to turn in from east bound Rt 17. Had to turn around and enter from west bound lane. No fault of store, just makes it a bit more difficult. Worth the effort though.

My husband went to this store on Saturday, June 10, 2023 around 7pm and had the worst experience ever just trying to purchase a light bulb for our vehicle. The employees did not even look like employees because one of the guys was wearing a tank top. That s very unprofessional and the lack of customer service is ridiculous. The guy with the tank top gave my husband the wrong light bulb and when my husband realized he went back to the store 3 minutes later to exchange it for the correct one which they refused to exchange it because we did not have a receipt. Mind you the tank top guy never gave a receipt in the first place. The package was unopened so I don t see what the big deal was in just exchanging it for the correct one or printing out a duplicate receipt. We understand all stores have a exchange/return policy but they could ve done better to fix the issue and they chose not to help.

This place always gets me right! They know me & my cars. They are helpful, my kids make them smile & they are always nice to them. I always get the toy cars for my boys and new pocket knives for me and my fianc�.

Just ran in there for a purchase and the cashier took the time to let me know about a deal where I'd save some money. It's always nice to get that kind of service and it was clear that he takes pride in his job which is something I definitely respect.

The new management Tanya is a joke products have a 30 day to 90 day earners on them and that means if the are faulty or break u are suppose to replace them not desire if u want to just because u don t want to handle a replacement I would never go there again they have lost my business and I have a funny feeling as long as she is there they will loose a lot more

This Auto place has it all. And cheap too.Plus the guys that work here are awesome. They know there parts. And will help you get what you need quick. And They even returned a brake line for me that I didn't get to use without a receipt too. Because they knew who I was. When I came in the first time. Super cool place to get parts for your ride.Five Stars. If I could I would give a ten for customer service.The place to go for sure.

Customer service was excellent. Danielle was very patient, respectful and courteous. she also helped me figure out the best course of action factoring in my costs, wants and time restraints. Very satisfied and will be referring others to go see Danielle.

Associates are not very friendly. I had to stand there waiting for assistance for several minutes. One worker was busy on the phone but the other 3 did not seem to be doing much at all but did not come to the register. Finally, a nice guy came from the back to help although he probably had been busy. I'd rather shop at Auto Zone.

Employee lied to me about being the Manager....other person was rude and could care less about when I said ( I would never be back.) Horrible, horrible customer service . Went to Bourbonnais store 100% different. 5 star there.

This store is clean and well stocked. Employees are nice and helpful and knowledgeable. Would of given 5 stars but parking lot is dirty every time I stop there.

Fantastic service. My belt broke in my truck on a holiday and they were open and even sat there and helped me fix my truck so I could get home which was 2 states away. Very good service and amazing people

Had an alternator go out and just barely coasted into the store parking lot before the battery went dead. The guy working was helpful and fast and even let us use some tools.

Went in looking for uv dye for cooling system. Girl tried to sell me COMBUSTION LEAK DETECTION FLUIDand advised me to pour it into the radiator. When I tried to tell her that it's for a tool not cooling system dye, she gave me an attitude and told me to go somewhere else because that's the only thing they have. Looked it up online and sure enough they carry a bottle of dye, called and gave them the part number just to verify that they had it.I wonder what that combustion leak detection fluid would do to a cooling system?
