Horrible experience! Was in a hurry. Stopped in and was told it would take 30 minutes for an oil change. Went ahead and shopped around. Came back the truck was in the bay but still not ready. I asked every 15 min for an hour and a half and kept bei.g told it would be ready soon. I realized I was going to be late to my next appointment so I asked again but a little stern. Finally, the tech said they "could not find" my oil plug. What? Mind you, I've had oil changes at many different places including 2 other walmart auto centers. I furiously asked for my keys so I.could leave. Ridiculous!

I came a little before 2pm for a basic oil change. Just got my car back at 545pm. Way to long , others were waiting hours to.. when I gave them my car I ask for them to replace my windows wipers and put air in my tires .... when checking out the mechanic told me that my car engine Sizes was put in wrong in their system I told him that his worker put my car information in which he did . Then I was told that they didn't change my wipers because they were afraid they would break it . Yes basic windows wipers they couldn't do so how could they do other things when it comes to a car? Then they forgot to put air in my tires ........While waiting a pervious customer came in and had a complaint that he doesn't have oil in his car when he was their a day before for a oil change and his car stopped on himDon't go here please. .... save yourself

The guy first spent 20 minutes on his phone trying to find the oil cap. Then after figuring it out decided to stretch the rest of the effort out holding my replacement filter it hand talking with his coworker. 2 hour oil change. Should have been an hour.

Got a great price online for a 4 wheel price on tires. So I went to the auto center in Shorewood illinois rt 59. Checking in and pricing explained well. The auto center has a texting status updated me when service started, when it began, and when it was finished so I did my grocery shopping while waiting. They said about an hour to hour and 15 minutes. It was exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes, and I was done shopping. I payed for my purchase it was actually less then they estimated. I double checked to see if I was charged for everything. I got the Road hazard, etc. It was there, but I looked at my mom, and I think you are supposed to come back after so many miles and have the lug nuts rechecked to make sure everything is tight. But I couldn't mind any help. The guy that checked me out. Went in the office and closed the door. My only problem with the purchase. Also I learned something new. When you buy new tires they don't come with valve stem covers. You think they would, but I guess only if they do valve stem service???

Terrible. Pulled in at 5:45, for an oil change. No line, refused service. Said him & one other couldn't do it quickly. So get in early if u need service.Services: Tires, Oil changeServices: Tires, Oil change

This was one of the less pleasing experiences. Everyone seemed like they'd rather be anywhere else and the systems don't help, so slow. I just wanted to buy my mom's battery which you can't pay until the job is done. This should be changed asap. In the event someone wants to pay for someone else or the person paying cannot wait for the service to be completed. They need more help. Joseph before 4pm was very helpful finding the last battery in stock for my mom's car. When I returned with my mom at 4pm he was gone and everything took forever.

Got cancel the morning of. And that my Parts wouldn't be in the morning of! Card to cancel the entire order twice it's been a week and I still have not received a refund and I received notification two days ago that month parts were in even though I had already canceled the order twice. And they're still telling me the parts are in and have not yet canceled the order so I can't buy them anywhere else until this order is canceled. Been trying to get someone on the phone for 2 days in the auto Center and they will not answer the phone!

Took over 2 hours to get an oil change. Also not that many people waiting in line, just slow mechanics/new. Also bought synthetic oil that was on special, and after two hours got a call stating that they ran out and would apply the high mileage package wich is for the same price instead of offering a different synthetic for the same price. After two hours lost had no option but to go with it. I will not be returning to this facility.Service: Oil change

The technician was extremely rude to my adult children, who took my car for an oil change when I couldn't because I had surgery. He spoke to them like they were teenagers and expressed his disgust because he wanted to go home and because of them, he had to do his job. I don't expect a high level of professionalism from a WalMart automotive technician, but I do expect you to be a human being and do the job you're hired to do!Service: Oil change

Every time I come here I come at 7am. No one is ever here, no one answers the phone it s quite sad honestly. I come here for convenience not because they do a good job and give customer service. Will have to start getting services elsewhere. It s unfortunate I can t depend on my local Walmart.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I was told an hour and a half for an oil change and 3 and a half hours later I am still up here waiting for a simple oil change. Avoid this place at all cost as they do not have enough workers to do the service's needed to get things done in a timely manor. They also purposely did other cars ahead of mine these are the kinda people you want to avoid at all cost.

Bad experience, the crew was late and had no motivation to work apart from the fact that I had to look for the tires and even carry them myself, what's the point of working there if you aren't going to do your job, I know they prob only pay $15 a hour but if you are a "mechanic " atleast do your job. They didn't want to help change my tires because they lost a key to open the garage .

Went in at 2:40 on a Sunday after calling to confirm they could get me in for an oil change. Drove straight over and was told they can t do it as they have 2 sets of tires to do so not taking any more cars . Seriously, they re open another 3 hours and can t do an oil change and two sets of tires? This is after standing in line for 15 minutes.When they do get you in, they take forever and never do the complete job. Floors never vacuumed. Windows never cleaned. They may or may not fill the washer fluid. Tire pressure is never checked even though it states it is (they mark 35 psi but they require 65/75 on my truck). Also never actually measure tread depth as I ve gone in with a new set of tires measuring 14/32 and they put 5-6/32 all around. One time I even had to show them where my oil filter was These people exert more energy to avoid working than they would if they actually did their job.

If I can write zero stars I would. Horrible customer service, ordered my tires online to have installed there where they got shipped, first I called to make an appointment only to be told I have to wait until the tires arrive to schedule appointment. Fast forward to them arriving at the store, upon email confirmation of delivery I call to make an appointment to get them installed, only to be told they can't make an appointment until I pick them up and take them to them. Same store... Between that and the attitude on the phone I just got a refund online and taking my money to discount tire.

So U went in for an oil change and they didn t put my oil cap on all the way. That was in December it s now February. I am lucky my engine didn t blow. I was also given the run around and lucky to receive a refund for the oil change where they were supposed to clean up their mess even though they hadn t. Avoid going here go to Rt 59 or Plainfield.

I was the only customer at the Walmart Tire Center and it took them over an hour to do a basic oil change. If I hadn t come back to check on my car, it would have taken longer. When I asked if it was done, she literally said it would be another 20 minutes. Then I watched them go get my car to do the oil change that they should have been doing in the first place. Unprofessional. I suppose you get what you pay for.

I tried to call the store several times. No one answered. Automotive didn't answer neither did don't desk for customer service. I can understand being busy but 4 stores that I called ( which was several times each ) couldn't answer.... not happy at all.

Went for a simple oil change they told me 45 mins to an hour keep in mind this is after I already waited in line for 30 mins because they are so unorganized! Anyway after and hour and 10 mins they still weren't done I asked what is the estimated time they said 20 more minutes!!!! So ridiculous I will never come here again for an oil change please get more workers and a more efficient system super disappointing.

This place is a joke. The women at the counter are rude. I was quoted a half hour wait time, went up an hour later and they said it's still going to be another 15 min to a half hour. My tire kept going flat, I just needed one changed. Does anyone know what they're doing in this place? Waste of my day off thats for sure!

The customer service was terrible. Not happy to see me or service me. Wait was 1 1/2 hrs for oil change. No prices given. Basically you have to wait 1 1/2 hr. So you may wanna go elsewhere.

I got the worst service in the world at Jefferson street Walmart They told me they were going on lunch and when they got through they were going home I went to the Lockport Walmart The best service ever They even told me they're sorry for the way that Walmart treated us Hats off to Lockport Will not go to the Joliet Walmart for anything automotive 5 thumbs down

The service is pretty fast , I am satisfied, but the mechanics and the workers in the auto department could be friendlier, they are not friendly at all. Could use some Customer service training.

They said 45min for oil change n they'd page me, came back in an hour. Lady said ur car is next 2 times so I left. The mechanic smoking said they couldn't get it in gear. So they skipped it even tho I was sitting there for a half hour.

Awesome place was in an out and got some other shopping done while my full synthetic oil change was happening.Only $48.00 I was happy.
