Highly recommend this shop, they are honest and fair. I've had a transmission done here on one car a number of years ago, and recently had a different car towed in when it wouldn't start. They figured out and fixed the problem and also replaced the serpentine belt. Both cars have high miles and run great. High quality work, trustworthy people and fair prices.

I've been going to Team Auto for about 10+years now. Their prices are always fair compared to other shops and definitely better than these dealership prices. TA doesn't r*pe your pockets with unnecessary repairs. Before covid you could get your car in the same day. I'm patient enough to schedule a appointment. And 9 times out of 10, the repairs are complete the same day as drop off. All they need is more mechanics but that's not always in their control.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Air conditioning

I recently called team auto cause of all the wonderful reviews to quote a brake job on a Chevy truck..The phone person was very kind and professional but had to ask the manager on duty about a price. I explained that for the brake job with rotors that I would supply all hardware for rotors, clips , and pads and I just was interested in having them installed. After about 2 min the representative came back with a number of almost $500 for the install alone. If you had Team get the parts for the job it be almost $800 I was told... I hope that would come with lifetime pad exchange or something, I don't believe it does. Mind you I just had a rear main seal replacement on my vehicle for $800. How in the world would they charge $800 for a person coming in without parts is madness. I understand these shops make a margin of part sales, but $500, or $800 dollars for a brake job seems outrageous to me.

Came in and the young lady greeted me with a smile. I was looking for a break job and they took my keys to check and see what needed to be done, they couldn't quote me a price without seeing it first and I like that. The gentleman came and explained what needed to be done and gave me an exact price.Very quick and easy and I was very comfortable doing business. Definitely will be bringing my car in for future needs.

At the beginning of the year my car had starting issues and no one was open to check it out. I called Team auto and spoke with Aj. He got my car in and was honest and said that what I needed done was best if the dealership did the job because my car was still under warranty. I love the fact he didn't try to charge me for something that wasn't the problem. Honest people here and I will be coming back :) Thanks

A.J. and his crew are the best in the town. He found and fixed the issue with my mom's Benz, that no other mechanic could. The whole staff is great, friendly and reasonable. He looks out for his customers (unlike those other mechancs).

The manager's understand how important customer service is and always take care of any issues we have ever had immediately! I like this place a lot. The guys always fix my car without trying to cheat me or sell me unnecessary services. I always feel like they are being honest with me. I also appreciate the pretty young lady at the desk too as she is always nice and helpful.

A shout out to Murt and AJ at Team Auto in Joliet. I had a pretty awful morning...my car died on my early morning commute and luckily in a relatively safe place. I called AAA for a tow, and they came within an hour. The tow truck driver was unprofessional and completely inappropriate, I was very uncomfortable. I'm not going to go into detail, but I did call AAA after he was gone and they were appalled - said they'd be investigating the matter. Meanwhile, the dealership's quote for the problem (alternator and battery) was very high. My father in law owns the same brand of dealership in a neighboring state and he agreed the price was $400-500 more than he'd expect. I had a co-worker recommend Team Auto and I gave them a call. Not only did they fit me in today so I could pick up my kids on time, the price was less than half the dealership price. (Over $700 less). I had to have my car towed there, AAA covered most of it and Murt at the auto shop paid the tow truck driver the part I owed ($5), but still!! They did an amazing job, quickly, and he refused to let me pay him back for the tow truck. So, if anyone is looking for a good honest mechanic, they have my vote, and my business! My car is running perfect too!
