Pete at Rendel's was an absolute life saver for my wife and I. He took such great care of us. He saved us a bunch of money by creating a solution that we were not aware of. Super honest and fast! Would not go anywhere else!!

I've been coming to Rendels for 8 years and only trust my vehicles with them. Every time I go to someone else, I regret it!As a woman, it was impossible to find mechanics that didn't take advantage of my ignorance about vehicles and charge me outrageous amounts. Until I found Rendels!The team at Rendels is always so polite, THEY LISTEN, only looks at the problem I come in for, explains things clearly, and fixes it at a reasonable price. It's everything a lady could ask for in a mechanic. And if you're a guy, I'm sure you'll appreciate them too.I recommend them to everyone I know.

Despite the initial challenges with title retrieval, I am grateful for the positive aspects that emerged from this experience.Although the title was not found in the folder in my trunk, the fact that the team located the folder itself is appreciated. I bought a new hustler stand on mower from them. The salesman John was very helpful and answered any questions I had throughout the process. I would absolutely purchase equipment again from here.

Poor experience all around. Driver dropped my motorcycle while driving to the dealership. I was also charged for 2 tows after bringing my bike 10 minutes from the site of pickup. It was explained to me that since the bike wasn t being brought to their yard I need to pay a second fee. Dishonest and unprofessional.

The worst vendor in the city of Joliet just hold vehicles that don't belong to you with someone working on the unit. Pick up the phone and call you have no right to the vehicle with a driver and vendor at the unit, claims it was just left there and it wasn't. DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE SCAMMERS!

If your car comes here after an accident, Be prepared to be treated badly as well as have your possessions be held hostage.Manager doesn't know how to run a business or keep track of his employees.

If you want to spoil your day then is the company to call. They have ties with Police and they take advantage of that. They don't talk ,they threaten people Like if you don't pay we are impounding your truck. Charged 3550 in only 30 Mins. Worst Towing Ever.

This place is never prompt. The service team is usually rude and they have an overnight answering service, but they don't respond to this, so you still need to speak with someone in person during their normal business hours.

Excellent service, I went in for a rebuild inspection on my e92 M3 and they were straight forward and thorough! Came back a second time as the first time was in my case to find out what needed to get fixed came back second time with everything fixed and I was on my way. Didn t get charged for final inspection, great experience.

For a police call out for a trailer hung up on a retaining wall, the cost was reasonable for the area. There was not excessive billing hours for the job. Thank you for being honest and not taking advantage of the situation!!

Got tow 4 miles.$1770 .They told me he could not put the driveline back on ,plus they left my air dryer without the check valve. I guess that's life

Do not call or use this company to town your semi truck. Big ripoff $1.830 for 21 miles. He was not able to wait for a check to get clear. Stump like a girl and took the truck away. What an attitude for a company like that, treating one of the biggest transportation companies in US with that disrespect. The driver had bad attitude not friendly, he had some stomach cramps or probably he has some issues at home. Totally disrespect for your truck and for the truck drivers, he left my airlines hanging, put the drive shaft inside my cabin dripping oil. That s ok but you know karma is a B .I want to give 0 stars but google do not allow me to do that. Doesn t matter what you re going to say, the real thing is you have to charge a lot to keep your expensive toys. What a way to treat your customers.

Our lift died on a railroad spur, with no way to move it, but down the tracks. The team worked well with each other to get the lift out of it's precarious position and on stable land.

Sad to say even though they towed my car because of the police, I can say everyone was very respectful. They even help me put my stuff back on my car so I can drive away safely. If anyone needs services done here I will tell them too. Great customer service this company has. I read a lot of bad reviews and I check it out myself and the company deserves more love and care. Thank you for keeping my 2014 camaro safe and thank you for not having stuff stole from my car like other towing places do!

Used Rendel's West for repair on my car, it looks amazing. Everyone was super friendly. Pete went above and beyond in helping on following through making sure I got my car back when promised. I strongly recommend them. Would suggest to my family and if I need services again (and I hope I don't ) I would go there again. Thanks again Pete and staff!!

This place is very unethical! My truck suddenly stopped working on I-55. Since I was causing traffic the state police call the tow service. When this company arrived it was stated to take my truck one mile away to a truck stop. Against my will, this person took me to their shop and immediately removed the keys from the truck. My mechanics were there but of course they did not allowed to check anything. They did this in conjunction with the Illinois State Police so they can charge a lot more money! At the end just for towing my truck out of the highway and a few miles to their shop against my will they charge me $750.00. If you ever need a tow seek for other options! The owner of this place should be ashamed for their poor level of integrity.

Horrible customer service. Son had an accident, Joliet PD had them pick it up. They wouldn't tow to our shop (literally 2.3 miles away from their location). They towed it in at 4:20pm, closed at 4:30pm, said there wouldn't be time to process transfer vehicle out. Thursday was Thanksgiving and said no admin would be there to process vehicle out. $50 "admin" fee, $80 (2x $40 a day) "storage" fee because they wouldn't let us get it Wednesday or Thursday. This review will only make them laugh, I'm sure, but it was a total bogus situation where they took advantage of my son.

Trevor was very helpful and patient with our thousands of questions. We really appreciated the time spent with us. He was very knowledgeable and we will feel very confident when we come back to purchase!

I had required a mower and called them with many questions they were extremely helpful my mower is currently there I've got nothing but great customer service so far and I'm really hoping that they can get my mower working again. All said and done if you want to bring your equipment to a place that cares you bring your equipment to rendals and you definitely make sure that you ask for Robert. I probably called 4 out of 6 days. Robert was extremely understanding I'm telling you. you want to bring your mower somewhere with 90 years of experience you bring it to Randall's. Robert will take care of you ask for Robert !! Everyone else was extremely respectful also I'm sure you could deal with anyone at this company and you would get the same service. Thank you rendals ! I look forward to doing more service with you guys in the future. I hope that my first experience is as good as my last experiences. Definitely make sure you ask for Robert !!

Mobile service this winter from Rendels has been amazing. With covid still causing issues for a lot of service providers, the shop at Joliet has been on top of getting trucks back on the job. Fred has been a miracle worker and Alex and Eric always do great work. Their efforts are appreciated.

Pete at Rendel s attached side molding on my Toyota and also fixed my hood after Toyota dealership made lame excuses about fixing the problem. Nothing but the best service at this body shop. When offered money Pete would not accept.

The staff isnt real helpful. Seems like they could care less if they have people spending money there. But they do ok body work for fleet trucks. Wouldnt recommend for personal (something you care about to look real nice) body work. Just average work.

Very bad service. Car was towed there for accident and police had them tow car there. They then damaged my car worse then the accident while towing. I had a mechanic on seen with me and I am one to and there was nothing wrong with car besides a missing front bumper and was drivable still untill I got car back from them I couldn't even get car out of there lot after they towed my car!!!!!!!! and charged me over $300 for towing and clean up fee and a wrenching fee and administration fees....and when asked to speak to some one about the damages they brushed it off and got loud and angry and swore at me on the phone and said it wasnt there fault not there problem and hung up..

I would give zero stars if I could. Take note of every person that has taken time out of their lives to write about their bad experience at Rendel's. Now add all those upset customers who never took the time. We are a nearby business whose truck was crashed into. Throughout the claim process, they expected us to do the following up with the insurance company. It took six months to get our truck back. Furthermore, they charged the insurance company double the cost of the truck. Rendels claims to be a truck rental company, but will charge you $780 for a lost key. (for perspective: Ryder's fees are $25). They basically made us pay for their mistake of not having back up keys. Don't trust these amateurs, they will squeeze every dollar out of you and hold your vehicle hostage. During a phone conversation Pat Polcyn even yelled "I'm not listening to you" what a privilege to be able to speak to a customer like that. Especially, one who single handedly forked over $23,0000, for a non serious fender bender, to your business. This place has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I will never step foot here again. Lastly, Pat asked for "certified funds" for the final payment, because of this review. Do yourself a favor and only deal with professional businesses. This place has much to learn.
