Absolutely amazing service. My husband was quoted $1250 from the dealership to replace the whole muffler. Oxbo fixed one pipe for 1/10 of the cost. The gentleman were so kind and welcoming. They communicated the price before the work was done and they may have ninjas working with them because they were extremely speedy! We will return for any other services we need and recommend them to everyone.

The piping just upstream of my muffler failed 360 degrees around. The shop cut out the bad section of pipe and welded in a new one for $60. The first place I went to wanted $350 for a new pipe connection and a new muffler. I'm glad I went to oxbo

Was recommended by my dealership to go to and have them look at my catalytic converter for an affordable price. Nice and friendly person the mechanic guy after inspecting my vehicle and showed me the undercarriage and under the hood where the part that is needed to be replaced if my check engine light comes back on again and quoted for a reasonable price. Just gonna have to keep my eyes on my dashboard and see if the check engine light wil pop back up and I will definitely come back and have my catalytic converter replaced.

Very pleased with my experience with Oxbo. They got me in quickly, and only fixed what was needed, instead of trying to sell me an entire rear pipe. Had a rattle afterwards, but they got me in immediately and resolved the issue within 15 minutes. The old rubber bushings were way too flexible, and allowed the system to rattle when going over bumps. It wasn't noticeable before, as the rotten parts actually masked the problem. I highly recommend them for professionalism and fair pricing.

The muffler on my wife's SUV was rattling. I called a couple of muffler shops in town to get an estimate of the cost of having the muffler repaired. Then I called OXBO. I brought the SUV in to them. After waiting +/- 30 minutes, I was told that there were a bolt or two that were loose and there was a small hole in the muffler - which OXBO welded for me. Then on top of all of this, I was charged $0.00 for their service! I tried to get the guy behind the counter to let me pay something, but he said that I was good to go. For a second, I thought that I had walked into a time warp where it was 1964 instead of 2024. This is stuff that would have happened to my Dad...not me in this capitalistic society. I will definitely be back to have something done to my car where I will have to pay these "honest" people.

Been there the other day for my 2012 Mazda5 with some leak in the exhaust system and though w/o appointment, they able to accommodate me and fixed the problem in a short moment. Went there for check engine light and noticed my catalytic converter was detached. They let me know what the code was which had nothing to do with the converter and charged me only $140 for the resonator.Been coming here for decades even though it s been a while since I had exhaust issues and my dad used to come here with his vehicles when I was a kid. Great service. I was told from another service center that I needed a whole new exhaust system. Oxbow said I only needed a muffler. Fixed it fast. They came highly recommended. Glad I went. Thank you

Great customer service! Had my exhaust replaced by them about a year ago, had a transmission repair done and come to find out the company that repair the trans cut and welded the exhaust back poorly.Oxbo fixed the issue even though they didn t have to! I m amazed by the customer service so I came back to have my brakes replaced.No where is better for exhaust work!

Took my truck there for a exhaust leak. They got me in quick and fixed a rotted out flange. They didn t have the flange but were able to weld on piece of pipe. Good looking welds on the pipe. I will go back for any exhaust needs.

Great experience here today. They were able to get an o2 sensor that had stripped threads out of my y pipe without damaging the pipe or the o2 sensor and the price was great! I see why other repair shop recommend them.

Pulled up , went inside, asked if they could replace a flex pipe within an hour on my daily.No questions asked, grabbed keys, and started going to work, and had me out within 30minutes. Great place, work hard & do the job right. Even let me see the exhaust welding/work. 10/10 great place , will come back whenever I need any exhaust work.

Needed new flex pipe on my 08 Hyundai Accent GS.These guys are quick! Got me in immediately when I got there at 8am. Diagnosed in like 5 min. Said it would take no more than 30 min. Took less. Perfect pricing. Will be back when the rest of the muffler fails!

Best hour of my week spent at Oxbo this morning. good guys and prices are fair. Very busy but still got me out in an hour. My job wasn t straight forward either, replaced my Suburban 2500 muffler and perfectly bent a 3 tailpipe custom for me. 2 other shops couldn t do it or wouldn t.

I ve called a couple times to see if it was OK to take the car in, they said I would have to get it diagnose before I can take it in to get work done. I was told that they could hook it up and do the diagnosis any time that I didn t need an appointment. I sent my mother today to get it diagnosed and they turned her away saying they didn t have time and told her that to come back next week. I sent her there because of all the reviews and she s a 69 yr old senior citizen. I will take my business elsewhere. I am a single grandmother raising five of my grandchildren because my daughter passed away and my 69-year-old mother is the only person who helps me. We honestly don t have time for wishy-washy stuff. Thank you anyway.

Used OXBO in Joliet for years, always did my drift cars and lifted trucks with them starting in 2013. Whatever I wanted, they would do it and work was good.Two recent bad experiences post Covid will stop me from using this place. One was stolen cats on one of my off road trucks, shop refused to install what I wanted. Laws have changed . I m now $600 in aftermarket cats that got removed along with the entire driveline of the truck for a motor swap, worthless in scrap too. Even showed and explained to the guy that the plates haven t even been registered in over 5 years. Second was this past week on my plow truck. Quoted $380 for a repair, and got rang up at $460. That s the cost for the two repairs . Was never told about the $460.Will go back to using Naperville Exhaust works. They are expensive but do what you want on your custom vehicles off road vehicles.Service: Exhaust

First experience with Oxbo was bringing the church s van in for a cracked exhaust pipe.Drove in, they looked at it within minutes in the parking lot and identified the problem immediately.You can tell when someone exhibits knowledge, confidence and professionalism. This place has it.A few months later I needed an exhaust for an older Ford passenger vehicle. Called them up, gave them the vehicle details, and they said to drop it off the next day and they could get it done. It was a simple job for them because this is what they do.When up on the lift they identified a brake hose that was causing a drive wheel to hang up which I suspected. They showed it to me and said they could fix that too. Done!When I brought it in, it was actually two weeks after I was supposed to.I called at 3pm and they said they close in about 2.5 hours. I was 20 minutes away.I pulled up, left it running, they had an open bay and put it up on the lift.Great job. Hard working men who know their stuff. I've had 2 experiences with them. One a 5 star and second a 4 experience. Their prices are reasonable and the work they do is good. They can do custom work if needed. FOLLOW UP: I had issues with my second trip there.. dropped off my car for them to tighten some loose bolts only to find they did nothing. I guess that's way I've seen all new faces the last two times. Time to find a new muffler shop.

Awesome place. Quality work at reasonable prices. They did a quick repair for us when we first bought my son's truck. We drink decided what we wanted to do and they installed the exhaust we requested quickly and reasonably.I would highly recommend them.

Had my Altima serviced here back in March. They did a great job, custom work at a great price. Rate was on point, much cheaper than buying aftermarket online especially considering the install time it would have taken for me to do it myself. I would be happy to go back there.
