This place is one of the most honest shop I ever been to. I had took my truck to another shop prior to coming here to get my kingpins checked out and they told me I needed them replaced and they was trying to over charge me. So I decide to come Joliet Diesel because they was charging a lot less for the same job. Come to find out I didn t need kingpins replaced. They saved me over a thousand dollars. They took care of my brakes for a reasonable price and got it done the same day. I recommend this place.

Santiago is a very special man. My company truck was stuck and I was going to miss a delivery possibly putting my job and employment in jeopardy. He stopped what he was doing and helped me get my truck out of the snow . He came out in harsh freezing winter conditions and gave my family and I a future to look forward to . Santiago was a genuine gentleman and very down to earth. He is a rare person and anyone who gets the pleasure of his assistance is reviving a blessing from god. This is an honest man and I recommend anyone to trust in his advise and skills. He is very experienced and well worth the money. You can t go wrong with this business . 10/10

These guys saved us. If there was a way to give them 10 stars we sure would. We got a fuel filter replaced over 200 miles from here and they didn t put it on right. We were smoking and lost all our fuel and the owner answered the call, took the time to swing by on the highway where we were stuck, fixed the problem so we could limp to his shop, got us in foregoing the other jobs his crew were doing and got us back on the road. Service just doesn t get any better , seriously! Grateful to say the least and really impressed with all of them! You just don t get this kind of service anymore!

This is top notch operation. My radiator was replaced in a day with excellence. The price was reasonable. And I wish shops all across the country could be this good.

We had some electrical problems with the truck, truck doesn t start , batteries were smoking. They got my truck in and changed batteries and changed starter and we also had some coolant leak and they also replaced the hose completely and fixed it all in less than 3 HOURS . I been this industry for five years I never see the best mechanic like those guys, they treat you like a family I want to there to fix my DEF they fixed quickly and my truck has previous problem, adaptive cruise control fault they fix that too. I recommend Joliet diesel for any repair thank you very much.

I am from Florida .. Water pump replacement and air dryer filter. This place is great! They get your truck in and out. They seem to always solve the problem and get your truck back on the road so that you can get back to work. Always good to call * SANTIAGO * ahead of time to give them a heads up to check for availability. Very trustworthy business,friendly service and fair pricing. Keep up the good work!

Man these guys are like family!! Best to price around town! these guys are mechanics, not parts changers! My 2014 Freightliner DD15 had EGR sensor and Actuator problem and got fixed quickly.They are professional and honest people.There Labor Cost is very reasonable.I'll keep their contacts for future us.

Called about my ac after multiple big dealer ships like loves and petro couldn t figure out the issue after I told them the issue. When I called these people and told them what was going on. They fixed the issue with no hesitation the whole time it was my AC compressor and loves and petro truck stop argued me down about it not being that not knowing I had already tested it out. Joliet Diesel Truck Stop got the work done with no problem or push back

My company is based out of Texas and we had to deliver a load to Illinois. I have a 2002 Columbia that had some electrical issues. My front run light and back run lights were not working and our drag link needed to be replaced. They got us in quickly, they were very friendly, and fixed our issues the same day. They also looked over our truck to make sure nothing else was wrong even though we did not ask for that. If you are in the area and have issues with your Diesel I would 10/10 recommend giving them a call. They also called us the day after the service to check on us and see if things were still on the up and up. And they don t mind helping over the phone if you are unable to get to them. Radiator busted while on the road. Looked up a diesel mechanic and this shop was a few minutes away. They were very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Very pleased with their service. So far so good with the radiator replacement. And prices were reasonable

I should have know not to patronize this business when I looked at the reviews and saw the one 1 star reviews have a response from the owner stating he did not know who they are, yet they have a full description of events and the name of the owner. We own a small trucking business and our truck was down. 10 hrs and $1000 later the truck is still inoperable. when asked if there was anything else he could try the owner stated "we ain't bout to do all that, I don't have time for this". He also stated " I ain't know you were on a budget" when we said we should not have to pay that amount if the problem was not resolved. We then asked for an itemized receipt which he refused then proceeded to call the police as a means to intimidate us into paying for a incomplete service. After the ticket was paid the driver door would not open. When asked the owner stated "it never worked" and walked away.We will be reporting to Better Business Bureau and filing a claim in small claims court. I sure hope your licenses are in order.

Attention all drivers , Great mechanic shop! Hidden gem, Very fast response and very knowledgeable shop! It s great to find a place who s honest and trustworthy with there work and guarantee there work making the customer feel comfortable , got me taken care of a few times when I was in the area on short notice and got me out within a day or less which is super beneficial for owner operators. I've done transactions with multiple businesses in the area and Joliet Diesel Truck Repair by far is the best experience. They do a great job of communicating which I feel like most businesses lack in this present day. Any truck services we require in the future will now be repaired JDTR. So glad I found Joliet Desil! They took me in on short notice and worked and worked until my electrical issue was resolved that same day! Pull up oil changes, and even fixed an issue with my hood in fifteen seconds! The owner Santiago is a one of a kind, down to earth , understanding, stand up guy with roots in the City. The staff works as a team and are very pleasant to be around as well. I Never felt rushed and everything that they fixed , is still working !
