I feel robbed. I gave a great review and thought I could trust them and paid way more than I should have especially for the car to turn around and be unable to drive the next day. They supposedly changed my oil but found out the next day from a deep diagnostics from a reputable mechanic that my oil was not changed but Topped Off . I called back they offered to look at my car again but I m far from the shop so it s no way for them to get it to repair it. I spent $500 for a throttle body clean up, oil change, and spark plug change. To repair the mistakes they have cause is over $8,000 and I am out of a car and have to go on another car hunt. I left a hood reviews at first but it couldn t even stay up.

This shop is the place to go!! I broke down with a broken throttle body and after once simple phone call and a couple blocks of driving. The great people here were able to my car back up in running in a hour or less, even so close to closing time they were very nice and happy to help. I can t stress how helpful and reasonable everything was with my visit, 10/10 will be coming back again! Thank you!

When other shops didn't have time to help fix a cracked coolant hose, this place made time for me even when they were closing soon. They went above and beyond to help me out, as well as all of their staff are great people. They'll treat you like family even when you just met them. Definitely coming back again to this shop

Went to visit family in the area, my vehicle started having some issues. The owner/ coworkers found out what was wrong with my vehicle right away and fixed the issue! They were super friendly and reasonably priced! If I could give more stars I would. Very trustworthy environment! Definitely recommend

I was driving across the country to move to LA when my belt broke and my engine basically almost exploded it got so overheated. Joliet Auto Repair helped me fix the issue THAT DAY, which included staying late to literally replace my entire engine. Their pricing was fair, their work was A+, and best of all they really cared about getting me back on the road as fast and safe as possible. Couldn't be more grateful!Service: Engine repair

I worry about going to any mechanic, but this guy u can trust to do the job right and not give u a line of bull---. I will definitely be going there again, it's hard to find someone u can trust! I know when I see a good mechanic and this guy is it! And he works on big trucks!

Went to joliet auto repair for maintenance on my vehicle. They were friendly,knowledgeable and very efficient. I was back on the road quickly. Definitely recommend them for any vehicle concerns.

I was visiting some family in town for the weekend and my CV Axle snapped. I live out of state so I was in a pinch. These guys managed to get me in on a Saturday, even while they were busy. Diagnosed in just a few minutes and showed me the issue right away. Amazing work that didn t break my wallet. Thank you Joliet Auto Repair! Fast and honest work! I brought my 2000 Explorer here with a very leaky power steering hose on a Saturday morning. Was fixed in a hour and was very reasonably priced. The guys were exceptionally nice and down to earth. I've been going to them since I moved backed to joliet. Jeeps are expensive to repair so not only do they do great work, the prices are the best in town and they are trustworthy! I just want to thank Daniel and the other mechanic at Joliet Auto Repair shop on Chicago Ave in Joliet Illinois. For great service and for doing an awesome job !!! On my 2005 Trailblazer. It runs better than when I first purchased it from the car lot last april. I went to Velazquez in Aurora Illinois and they told me that I need to give them $2,000 after they took my truck in the back to inspected it. I said let me get a second opinion. Because it was just me and my daughter and I know how some people like to take advantage of women. But not at Joliet Auto Repair ! Daniel the mechanic have great customer service. And he took me on the back with him to show me the issues that I had with the truck. And their price was 1,000 instead of 2,000 . And they charge only $35 to inspected it. The other places in Joliet told me $50 or $60 . So if you're looking for a shop that doesn't take advantage of women and has integrity ,great customer service and that will do an awesome job !!! on your vehicle. Worst mechanic in Joliet. Supposed to service and repair my vehicle. Originally asked for $900 to fix timing and radiator. I bought all the parts myself. Turns out they went to the junkyard and grabbed their own parts, charged me 1100$ and wouldn't give me my keys back until I paid them a travel fee. Once I paid I never got a receipt or the parts I paid for back. They put junkyard parts on the vehicle and every light on the dashboard started flashing as well as the thermostat. When I called Alejandro started shouting and threatening so I hung up but I wouldn't deal with this place at all. I went here for the 5 star reviews but turns out that they post they own reviews. I'd rate a 0 out of 5 and we do have a civil case pending

These guys do a honest work and are never looking to overcharge or nickle and dime like other autoshops, infact they let you buy/bring your own parts and just charge you for labor. Even oil change you can bring your own oil and filter. I began patronizing them for about a year now and I've not regretted it and will continue to come here.Service: General repairs & maintenance

New business decided to check them out. Pulled up no appointment. The owners were super friendly. Tino and Daniel immediately diagnosed the problem and repaired my truck. The customer service is amazing!! I had no idea what was going on with the car but these guys were sooo quick to figure it out and fix it for me! They staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. Pricing is also reasonable overall amazing service 10/10 I recommend to go with Joliet auto repair inc. for your car troubles. Best Auto shop I ve been to! Very honest and hardworking guys, they let me see what they work on and tell me what needs to get done. They let you see the difference in parts so you feel good about the Job !!! Highly recommend.

Nice little shop...looks like family owed business. I needed used tires for my SUV. They had a room of a bunch and they had 4 matching ones. Mounted, balanced and all that done right. 30 day warranty. Thanks for the service Tino!! Cash is king.

Giving Joliet Auto 5 Stars! This is the second time they pulled me out of a jam. The first time my wheel bearing went bad and they immediately got me in, changed the part and off I went. Today I took my explorer to jiffy (huge mistake) and they said my rear main seal was bad and my truck was leaking oil horribly, that my engine was going to seize up (huge lie) anyways I called these guys again and they hooked me up and proved why I should keep going to them!
